Remember Me cast

Review of "Remember Me" 7/20/17 by Suzanne
Airs Sundays at 9:00pm on PBS

This is a really great three part mystery. You should definitely watch it because it's compelling, eerie and creepy. An elderly man, Tom, fakes a fall at home, so that a social worker comes and takes him to a rest home. Tom is very strange, but he just seems like a harmless old man.  However, a woman there dies after falling out of his window, and then we start seeing that there may be a supernatural element as well. A self-doubting detective investigates, as does a young woman named Hannah who works at the home.

Michael Palin is a fabulous actor; he's not just "that guy from Monty Python." He plays Tom very well.  I can't wait to see the other two parts, to find out what the mystery is all about!

MORE INFORMATION:

Watch Michael Palin’s portrayal of pensioner Tom Parfitt, who stages a fall in his eerie Yorkshire home in order to escape into residential care, leading to a chilling and macabre mystery.

Episode 1 - At the age of ‘eighty-odd’, Tom Parfitt sits alone in his terraced house in the otherwise entirely Asian community of a small Yorkshire town and remembers a strange drowned figure washed up on a beach. Tom carefully fakes a fall, to trick his social worker into taking him into residential care.

Episode 2 - See how Hannah’s nightmares about water and drowning foreshadow events, including the appearance of Isha, an Indian woman in a red sari. Find out the significance of Scarborough — the town and the song.

Episode 3 - Find out what happened to Isha and Dorothea and why the police are questioning Tom. As the true meaning of Scarborough Fair emerges, witness the terrible decision Tom faces.
