Mr. Robot Won Me Over
The show’s premise is about a computer
security technician who is also a hacker; he spends his free
time dishing out vigilante justice to some not-so-moral
individuals. Elliot, Played by Rami Malek, finds that his
work is not unnoticed when an elite hacker group tries to
recruit him to take down the very company that he is paid to
protect.
With the
internal conflict, and the theme of destroying the status
quo of society, this show could be compared to
"Dexter"-meets-"Fight Club." I was originally drawn to this
show because of the rumors of how good the cinematography
was, and I kept watching because of how great the production
was. It felt like I was watching an HBO show. This
psychological thriller is bound to have you hooked by the
first episode. Creator Sam Esmail has declared via Twitter
that he has an ending for this show, and it should last 4-5
seasons. This is great news!
Mr Robot Premiered on USA Network on
June 24, 2015 and also stars Christian Slater.
