Lost Girl cast

"Lost Girl" review by Suzanne
Season 4 premieres January 13 8/7c on Syfy

Syfy sent me the first two episodes for the new season to review. I always enjoy watching this show. I haven't seen all 3 seasons. I just watch occasional episodes, so I had to go read a little bit about what happened in season 3. I'm not sure, but I think Canadian viewers have already seen the episodes.

When the first episode starts, the main characters don't realize that their memories have been partly erased. Also, Bo is missing, and at first they don't even remember her. They spend the episode getting their memories back. George Takei plays a very memorable monster in this episode! Mia Kirschner also appears.

In the second episode, Dyson goes looking for a way to bring Bo back because she's trapped between realities. A lot of fun stuff happens. I don't want to spoil it for you!

Other guest stars this season include Linda Hamilton and Kyle Schmid (from "Being Human"). I look forward to seeing the rest of the season! You should definitely check it out. It might be a bit confusing if you haven't seen the rest of the episodes. Go watch the first 3 seasons first, then!

MORE INFORMATION:

Syfy premieres season 4 of Lost Girl, its popular sexy supernatural drama, on Monday, January 13 at 8pm (ET/PT). Lost Girl stars Anna Silk (The Ghost Whisperer)  as seductress Bo, a Succubus (a powerful female entity in folklore) who feeds off sexual energy.

In the upcoming season, fate casts a wide shadow over the Fae world. With Bo’s return, the lines between Dark and Light Fae are blurred, causing her to venture into a new and treacherous journey of discovery. Season 4 also features a robust lineup of guest stars including George Takei ("Star Trek"), Linda Hamilton ("Terminator"), Mia Kirshner ("Defiance") and Kyle Schmid ("Being Human").

Lost Girl co-stars Ksenia Solo as Kenzi, Bo's human sidekick and street-smart confidante; Kris Holden-Ried as Dyson, the shape-shifting homicide detective and noble warrior of the Light Fae; Zoie Palmer as Lauren, the brilliant human doctor who competes with Dyson for Bo’s affection; Rick Howland as Trick, Bo’s grandfather and the ancient and mysterious Blood King; and K.C. Collins as Hale, Dyson’s partner and a light Fae siren born of noble blood.

Paul Amos returns as the ever-devious Dark Fae Mesmer, Vex, and Emmanuelle Vaugier reprises her role as the deliciously evil Dark Fae leader, The Morrigan.

In the Lost Girl season premiere, "In Memoriam", The gang takes on a case of stolen memory, only to discover they're all forgetting something… or someone. Meanwhile, the new Morrigan is hell-bent on making sure some memories stay buried forever. George Takei and Mia Kirschner guest star.

In the second episode, "Sleeping Beauty School," Dyson seeks out an elemental Fae to rescue someone he loves. Kenzi's stuck on babysitting duty - but her unlikely charge might be the key to cracking the case. Mia Kirschner guest stars.
