TV Show Reviews

"FaceOff" review by Suzanne
Tuesdays 9/8c on Syfy
This is a fun competition show where wannabee make-up
artists compete. They make up fun characters and masks and
all sorts of weird stuff. This should really appeal not just
to fans of scifi movies and TV shows, but of anyone who
likes movies and TV, or weird stuff.
Syfy sent me a screener a while back of the September
episode with Elvira. That was cool. I don't watch reality
shows, but this is one that's nice to see because it has a
lot of art in it and people actually creating something, for
a change, unlike other reality shows. Well, maybe the baking
competitions are similar....
It's very entertaining for anyone. Make sure you check it
out! I love seeing MacKenzie Westmore, who is a great
actress, that hosts this show. She has had a long career on
daytime soaps, but her dad was also the main make-up artist
for Star Trek.
Face Off
dishes out a tall order – contestants must create their own
dark elf warrior. Check out a sneak peek of that episode, in
addition to morphs and the Winner Tells All with Rayce, from
last week. I’ve also provided a bonus compilation clip of
Face Off’s
most cheery contestant—Eddie. Lastly, there’s a
release below with some exciting news – the show was
renewed for a sixth season!
