"Psych" review by Suzanne
Season 7 premieres february 27 on USA Network
I love "Psych" and this new season looks great! We see
more of Corbin Bernsen (Henry) and the other supporting
players, too, which I'm thrilled about. USA sent me the
first 3 episodes of the season. The first episode finishes
off the cliff-hanger from last season when Henry got shot.
Shawn gets very upset.
In the second episode, Shawn has to deal with Juliette going
undercover with an online dating service, and Gus gets a new
girlfriend, too. Cybill Sheperd returns as Shawn's mom, and
something very funny happens in his family. ER's Parminder
Nagra plays Gus' new girlfriend.
The third episode is kind of a "Blair Witch Project" spoof,
but of course it's got the Psych spin on it.
If you like the show, you probably know already, so keep
watching it! This season is just as good as ever, judging
from these three episodes.
MORE INFORMATION:
In the season premiere of PSYCH, “Santa Barbaratown 2,
Lethal Weapon 5 (#7002),” we return to where our season six
cliffhanger left us – Henry (Corbin Bernsen) is down with a
bullet to the chest! As he is being rushed to the hospital
fighting for his life, a spiteful Shawn (James Roday) seeks
revenge on the shooter and everyone else involved in the
scandal. Guest stars include Kurt Fuller, Max Gail, Jake
Busey, Oliver Muirhead, Arden Myrin and Jerry Wasserman.
PSYCH returns with a spectacular season 7 after a
surprise season 6 finale left fans of the hit show on the
edge of their seats. The new episodes delve into the
personal life of the very private Gus (Dulé
Hill), sneak in a surprise wedding of one of our leads and
push out new "Psych-isms" to the devotees affectionately
known as PSYCH-Os. Giving audiences a taste of Gus the
romantic, while revealing a jealous streak in Shawn (James
Roday), the season features Parminder Nagra in a recurring
role as Gus' girlfriend. Guest stars include Katy
Mixon, Garcelle Beauvais, Jeffrey Tambor, WWE's Big Show,
and the return of Cybill Shepherd and Kristy Swanson.
Season seven marks the 100th episode of USA's
longest-running series currently on air. In addition to Hill
and Roday, the series stars Corbin Bernsen, Timothy Omundson,
Maggie Lawson, and Kristen Nelson, plus Kurt Fuller as
recurring. PSYCH is produced by Universal Cable Productions.
"Juliet Takes a Luvvah" Airdate 3/6/13 Gus gets a
girlfriend, and Juliet goes undercover on an online dating
site to catch a killer while Shawn tries to holster his
jealousy. Guest stars: Cybill Shepherd, Parminder Nagra,
Sage Brocklebank, and Ethan Sandler.
"Lassie Jerky" Airdate 3/13/13 Shawn and Gus join a pair
of college students in the woods who are filming a
documentary on Bigfoot. Guest stars: Big Show, Kurt Fuller,
Kate Rogal, and Alex Enriquez.
Psych returns with a wedding, a long-overdue girlfriend for Gus, and the show's
100th episode! Guest stars this season include Jeffrey Tambor, Katy Mixon,
Kristy Swanson, Garcelle Beauvais, Christopher Lloyd, WWE's The Big Show, Lesley
Ann Warren, Martin Mull, Barry Bostwick & Curt Smith. Plus, Shawn, Gus, Jules,
Lassie, Chief Vick, Henry and Woody will be up to their usual hijinks in the
crime capital of America, Santa Barbara.
