"Emily

Tuesdays 9/8c on The CW
I'm not a big fan of the actress who plays
Emily. She's a fine actress, but I just find her, or her
character, annoying. The show features her talking in her
head a lot, and it is one of those shows where everything is
awkward. I usually don't like that kind of awkward comedy.
Also, the show is more of a drama than a comedy, like it
can't quite make up its mind. It reminds me a little of that
other CW show "Hart of Dixie", but it's not as good as
that one.
There are a lot of good actors on this show,
especially Justin Hartley ("Smallville"), so I really wanted
to like the show. I'm not saying it's the worst show on TV.
The writing is not bad, it's just not my kind of show. I
don't like "hard to watch moments" in shows.
