cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia...

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" review by Suzanne
Thursdays 10c on FX

I don't really like this show, but if you enjoy shock humor you might like it. I enjoyed the first season, but after a while, the jokes are pretty much the same. The owners of Paddy's Pub are stupid and do terrible things without meaning to. They remind me of the kids in "South Park", but this is live action, and they are adults, so it is annoying because adults should be able to learn from their mistakes. It's unbelievable that anyone would act like this over and over, even in a comedy. The first episode which I was able to previe, is about how their Pop-Pop is in the hospital, and they have to decide whether or not to pull the plug. Also, they search for his secret Nazi treasure. There were a few funny moments, I admit, but it's just too hard for me to watch the whole way through just for a few jokes. I really don't know why this show is still on the air!

More info:

Season 8 Premiere
The Gang returns to Paddy’s Pub with Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito).
Last season, The Gang lived it up at the Jersey Shore, Frank married a hooker, and Mac got very, very fat. This season, stay tuned to see The Gang go to therapy, hunt for Nazi treasure, and try to undermine Philly’s toughest union – the trashmen! Charlie and Dee find love, Frank re-enters the business world, and Dee blurs the lines between the real and virtual worlds when she falls into an obsession with computer games. Get ready for even more disagreements, disunion and divisiveness as The Gang tries once again to scheme their way to happiness!
Pop-Pop: The Final Solution - Dennis and Dee's ailing grandfather Pop-Pop is wasting away in the hospital, and they have to decide whether or not to pull the plug. But things get complicated when The Gang learns of Pop-Pop's history as a Nazi, and Mac, Charlie and Frank set off in search of the old man's spoils from the war.
Not Always Sunny? For seven seasons, the Sunny cast was on fire. Now? They are just fired. It’s an all new day in Philly on October 11 at 10p only on FX.
