"Roseanne's Nuts"
review by Suzanne
Airs Wednesdays at 9 pm/8c on Lifetime
Roseanne's Nuts is a reality show about the comedienne/actress
Roseanne. She has bought a macadamia farm in Hawaii with her boyfriend and runs
it. I love her stand up act and her sitcom, so I expected the show to be funny.
Unfortunately it's not. It's pretty much your garden-variety reality show.
Roseanne's son and some other relatives are on the show, too. Her big problem is
wild pigs that eat her nuts, and she wants to get rid of them (but she doesn't
want to kill anything).
She puts down Hollywood a lot, but it's clear that she is just like every ditzy
actor you ever heard of as she sends psychic messages to the pig to tell it
leave and never come back.
They try to make it as fun as possible, and Roseanne curses and argues a lot,
but it's just not very entertaining.
You may think differently. I am not a big fan of reality shows. In fact, I
almost never watch them. Watch and judge for yourself. The first episode was
already a big hit.

We're working on behalf of Lifetime in support of the new
series, ROSEANNE'S NUTS, which features Emmy Award-winning actress and
comedienne, Roseanne Barr.
This docu-series follows Barr's decision to manage a fully functional 40-acre
macadamia and livestock farm in Hawaii after a long, self-imposed sabbatical
from series television. ROSEANNE'S NUTS kicked off with its premiere last
Wednesday and we're happy to share with you
