"Archer"

This show is pretty funny...it's not the funniest show in the
world, but it seems to get a little better every time I see it. This
three-episode arc they're doing is really good. Last time we saw "Archer", he
was upset because his fiancee was killed, and he left ISIS. This arc is all
about how ISIS - specifically, his mom -- tracks him down and tries to bring him
back. Of course, there are many adventures along the way!
Patrick Warburton, who's does a lot of animation and has a fantastic voice, does
an excellent job in his guest-starring role as Rip Reilly. Check it out, you
won't be sorry you did!
"Heart of Archness: Part I" (Airs September 15, 10:30PM e/p) Archer, in hiding
since the murder of his fiance, is finally tracked down in the South Pacific by
handsome adventurer Rip Riley. To get Archer safely back to ISIS, Riley will
have to survive the elements, a plan crash, a shark attack, starvation,
drowning, exposure, and possibly pirates. Oh, and Archer. Guest voices include
Patrick Warburton and David Cross. Archer will officially launch its third
season in early 2012 with a 10-episode run.
"Heart of Archness: Part II" (Airs September 22, 10:30 pm e/p) Archer deals with
the trials and tribulations of being Pirate King while ISIS remains
semi-committed to his rescue.
"Heart of Archness: Part III" (Airs September 29, 10:30 pm e/p) Archer and his
fellow prisoners attempt to escape the Pirate Fortress, as Malory hardballs the
negotiation for their ransom.
UPDATE: The show returns January 19. It's really good. the first
one has Burt Reynolds as a guest star. They're all good, though. I love this
show. I wasn't sure at first if I did, but it has really grown on me. Cyril gets
more to do now in the show. I think the third one is my favorite, though. The
show is great because it combines humor with a lot of high-octane action like
you might find in any action movie.
The Man From Jupiter" (Airs January 19, 2012) - Secret Agent
Sterling Archer is shocked to learn that his mother Malory is dating his
idol/hero/man-crush, Burt Reynolds. Guest star Burt Reynolds as
himself. Written by creator Adam Reed.

"El Contador" (Airs
January 26, 2012) - Cyril is promoted to field agent, while
Malory institutes a strict drug-testing policy for her
employees. Neither of which sit well with the staff of ISIS.

"The Limited" (Airs
February 2, 2012) - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police enlist the
help of ISIS to transport a captured Canadian terrorist. On a
train. Written by creator Adam Reed.

January 17th! We hope to review that, too.
Update: FX sent me two more episodes, and they are very good.
The first one "Drift Problem" is pretty standard for the show. Archer gets a
cool spy car for a birthday present from his mom. Of course, it gets
stolen. The second episode is even funnier. In "Bloody Ferlin", Archer
goes with Ray to visit his hick home town, to help his drug dealer brother. I
enjoyed both, and it left me wanting more! "Drift Problem" airs this week, 2/9,
and "Bloody Ferlin" airs 2/14. A perfect Valentine's Day gift.
