"E-Ring" Review by Suzanne  10/1/05

E-Ring picture

This is a great show for people who like action or military stuff.  It shows how things work in the pentagon.  Even though the people who are the stars of the show are in "desk jobs", there is plenty of action.  Benjamin Bratt is great as the marine who now works in this division. He is used to getting things done, so he tries to get around the bureaucracy in interesting ways.  Dennis Hopper is his boss.  Both are wonderful actors and the supporting cast is fine, too.

I am not a big fan of the military, so this is not really my type of show. However, I have enjoyed watching it and may continue to do so as long as they keep it interesting and focus on the characters of the show as much as the military intrigue.

The show has a lot of competition in its time slot, so I don't know if that will hurt its chances or not.  The scifi/action fans who might normally enjoy it are probably watching "Lost" or "Veronica Mars" or even "Criminal Minds", all of which are superb shows.

Check it out and decide for yourself!
