Phyllis: I don't know anything. They were married. Sharon's married to you now, and Nick is married to me.
Jack: I'm talking about Paris.
Phyllis: Oh, come on, Jack, you're still harping on that?
Jack: After the fiasco of Sharon's letter to nick, we promised to keep an eye on each other's spouse, Phyllis.
Phyllis: There's nothing to keep an eye on. There's nothing. Nick went there for business, and it's only natural that he would run into Sharon. It's not a big deal.
Jack: It never crossed your mind that something might be going on?
Phyllis: No, absolutely not. I trust my husband.
Jack: I'm not sure you would if you've seen what I've seen.
Phyllis: What have you seen?
Jack: The night I came home from New York, I walked in on Nick and Sharon in each other's arms.
Phyllis: They were hugging.
Jack: It was a little friendlier than a hug, if you get my drift?
Phyllis: So what did they say when you confronted them?
Jack: I didn't confront them. I stood there waiting for them to notice me, only they were caught up in each other. Suddenly, I felt like a stranger in my own house and I slipped out.
Phyllis: I think you're paranoid.
Jack: I don't think so. You know what I think? If I've picked up on that connection, I know damn well you have, too.
