1. Gus and Harley finally get married on August 19. Three days later on the 22nd, Beth and Alan get married which shocks the entire town.

2. Tony Santos dies as he falls off of a cliff on April 28.

3. Billy Lewis falls off the wagon after 13 years of sobriety in October.

4.  Michelle Bauer gives birth to a baby, who Edmund steals to give to Cassie. In other parts of Springfield, Dinah is held captive in a replica of the Jessup farmhouse so that she can't reveal her faked pregnancy.

5. On March 28th, Harley Cooper is convicted of murdering Phillip Spaulding even though she is innocent.

6. Alfred Randall comes to town, befriends Reva and tries to steal money from Lewis Construction. He is killed in August.

7. Holly Reade, Danny, Michelle and Tony Santos have to escape a villa in Santo Domingo where they are being held hostage by Roger's son, Sebastian Hulce.

8. Harley and Gus are on the run (she's supposed to be locked up in jail) trying to find the real killer. Towards the end of July, Alan confesses to shooting Phillip and viewers at home find out that Phillip is still alive!

9. Jonathan Randall drugs Cassie Winslow the night before her wedding to Edmund, and then later leads her to believe that they slept together.

10. Alan Spaulding and Gus Aitoro are kidnapped at the end of December.
