"Jason's
Return"
Chapter 1

Sam sat on a bench at the docks
with Danny, near the spot where Jason was shot. She had tears in her eyes
thinking of what might have been... if only Jason had lived to know that Danny
was his son.
A figure in the shadows watched
Sam and Danny. It's Jason! He walked over to where Sam was sitting, and his
shadow fell over her. "Sam?" he said softly.
Sam's head jerked around at the
sound of Jason's voice, and she stared into his eyes.
"Jason... it can't be!" she cried.
Then, "Is it really you?" she asked disbelievingly.
"It's me, my love. I'm here," he
said, as he embraced her.
Jason and San stood locked in one
another's arms for several minutes. Then Jason gently disengaged himself from
Sam's arms and went over to Danny. "How's Danny?"
"He's wonderful. Growing by leaps
and bounds," Sam said, wiping her eyes with a Kleenex. "And Jason, he's yours."
"Mine?"
"Your son. Your son with me,"
smiled Sam. "Heather Webber switched the paternity test results to make it look
like Franco was the father. I found out after you were shot... and speaking of
that, how are you? Are you well?"
"Sam, let's go home. I have some
things to tell you," Jason said.
"Ok, let's go home."
