Kate: Asked me? Are you serious? You rolled down the window and nodded at me. I've seen cabs hailed with more respect.
Sonny: Don't do that.
Kate: Don't do what, Sonny? Come on. Use your words. You can do it.
Sonny: I'll even wear one of those ties. I'll show you how much I respect you.
Kate: Well, that's precisely how I feel about the beachwear made out of spit and dental floss you bought me.
Sonny: You know, it's hot in the Dominican. I thought, you know, less is more.
Kate: Oh, no, no. No, you thought it'd be nice to have a woman on your arm while you're taking care of your divorce.
Sonny: Yeah, that's what you think my plan was, to parade you around?
Kate: Oh, okay. You wanted to lock me in your beach bungalow and have your way at me till you felt better.
Sonny: Wait. Listen. Before you get all high and mighty, let's not forget that we have been in hotel rooms before, and we didn't have any clothes on. Matter of fact, we didn't need hotel rooms.
Kate: What are you talking about?
Sonny: The -- the back of, uh, Tony's Deli. Remember what we did? Or you don't remember?
Kate: I still have a visceral reaction to cold cuts. I smelled like pastrami for a week. Tony's deli. How many hours did we spend in that place?
Sonny: Not enough.
Kate: You know, that was another lifetime ago. Just like your house, Deke, and your mother. Sonny, that's why we're here, isn't it? Why didn't you go in?
Sonny: I-I went in when I bought it.
