Luke: You stalking me? Should I be flattered or call the cops?
Alexis: Are you stealing food? Why are you behind the counter? I want pie.
Luke: Well, serve yourself. I ain't the waitress. I am the co-owner, you know. In fact, that's the only door in town, as far as I know, the locks haven't been changed just for me.
Alexis: Since when do you need a key to get in?
Luke: I'm living upstairs, you know. I have a room. Tiny, dark, dank -- little sweatbox. Very monastic. Maybe I ought to con Carly into putting me back at the Metro.
Alexis: Why don't you?
Luke: Well, I guess because basically I feel that the monastic thing is all I deserve right now.
Alexis: Boo-hoo! You're not the only one with a problem, you know. Actually, why don't you cheer yourself up and blackmail Carly? That's always fun. Get a nice fluffy bed and it'd be comped.
Luke: I do miss the spa over there. They have some very talented technicians. And I like the restaurant's menu.
Alexis: I think that the wine list is a little iffy.
Luke: Well, on the other hand, here I have the... endless supply of grilled cheese and the worst coffee that's ever been made.
Alexis: Well, I say if you're gonna live in denial, do it in a five-star. Benefit of my profession. I can dress anything up, even the most appalling, into arcane, complex language.
Luke: Well, "recent events" sounds a lot better than "killing a 4-year-old" or "your family's on a witch hunt."
Alexis: So, why are you here? Don't want your family to find you?
Luke: No, I'm laying low, trying to figure out my next move.
Alexis: Hmm. Have a goal? Do you have a goal? You got to have a goal.
Luke: I've got a goal. It's to be filthy rich and to spend the rest of my life laying on a beach with a virgin... mai tai.
