Lucky: All right, well, you're obviously not gonna let me get away that easy. I don't really know what I'm doing right now, Ethan. I just know that I can't stay here.
Ethan: And how does Elizabeth fit in?
Lucky: What, you think you're psychic or something?
Ethan: Of course. Like any good con man, yeah.
Lucky: Oh, geez. Oh, I don't know, man. It's just..a lot of things have been stirred up recently. You know, I found out Aiden was my son, that -- that Elizabeth and I had created this life together after everything we've been through, and it -- it just threw me for a loop.
Ethan: Yeah. That is a lot to take in.
Lucky: Yeah, it is. I mean, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. And, then, you know, there was the drug case. And then when I got shot up, Elizabeth was there for me. She saved my life. And it's just been really easy to fall back into old patterns with her, and -- and that's not good for either of us. And I...told her as much last night.
Ethan: Oh-ho-ho. I bet she did not take that well.
Lucky: No. I mean, she wants more. She wants to be together as a family, and I told her that it's not gonna happen.
Ethan: Ooh. That's gonna leave a mark, man.
Lucky: Just the thought of reconciling scares me to death, man.
Ethan: That is your head talking. What does your heart tell you?
Lucky: That there's still something there. It's as strong as it's ever been.
