Carly: Family means everything to Sonny. That's why having this party and having
everyone there was so important. Everyone Sonny cares about was there, even
Dante. Not surprised you weren't there. I assumed you were getting acclimated to
motherhood, which doesn't surprise me because having a toddler around can be
difficult for people, especially ones who have no idea what it's like to be a
parent.
Brenda: You're right. I was, in fact, doing that. Lucian and I are actually
doing really well.
Carly: And imagine my surprise when I found out the party's at the restaurant
because you don't want the kids here in their father's home.
Brenda: Whoa. What are you talking about? I would never try to keep sonny's
children away from him. Kristina misunderstood and then she passed on the wrong
information to the other kids.
Carly: Oh, right.
Brenda: What Kristina did was she asked me if we could have a big brunch to
introduce Lucian into the family. And I said I think Lucian should have a little
bit of time to adjust. Now, if I'm not mistaken, you are the woman who's always
tried to keep sonny away from Morgan. So if I were you, I would shut my mouth.
Carly: You're a coward, you know that? You're a coward. You're blaming
everything on Kristina and not taking responsibility. Wow.
Brenda: Well, if it makes me a coward to try to protect my child, then I
certainly will not be apologizing.
Carly: The way you brushed off Kristina, that means you don't want Sonny to have
anything to do with his children. You want Sonny just to focus on you.
Brenda: This doesn't have anything to do with me. This is about our child. He's
a part of our family now. And the way that we choose to introduce him to his
siblings is our choice and has nothing to do with you.
Carly: You try to keep my sons away from their father again and you will be
sorry.
