your pride out of the mix and look at the long-term picture. Objectively. This

Suzanne: Lucian will have a good life with me. A privileged life. He'll be able
to grow up a normal, carefree kid, away from the chaos that is your world. And
Brenda won't suffer having to watch her child go through the same emotional and
physical damage that your kids have gone through.
