Clyde: I can't think of a single reason why I would regret taking this meeting, sir. I have admired the way you do business since before I got to Salem.
Victor: Why don't you save your hayseed act for the suckers that buy it? You're trying to use Salem as an outlet for your illicit business activities, and I won't have it. Now, it's time for you to leave town. You've had your fun. If I were you, I'd go back to the Salem Inn, pack your bag, and crawl back under your rock.
Clyde: Well, it seems like you and I have started out on the wrong foot here, sir. And I was hoping we'd be friends.
Victor: We were on the wrong foot the minute you arrived in Salem. And we're never going to be friends.
Clyde: Well, that is such a shame. I figured you of all people could appreciate a guy like me, who started out without two dimes to rub together and pulled himself up by the bootstraps to make a better life for himself and his family. I mean, that's what you did, isn't it?
Victor: You're trying to set yourself up as Horatio Alger, and, actually, you're just a two-bit drug dealer. You're trying to set up shop here in Salem. And the timing is interesting on that too... right after EJ DiMera was shot by a drug addict who overdosed shortly there after. You supplied him with the drugs, right? Maybe even the gun that he used to kill off the competition.
