Daniel: When you talked to-- to--to Kayla, did she say anything about Melanie?
Hope: No. I'm so sorry.
Daniel: [Sighs] This morning I said to myself, "You know, it couldn't be any worse than this." Nice work.
Brady: [Groans] [Panting] Melanie, was your tongue just in my mouth?
Melanie: Are you kidding me right now? I was saving your life. You're welcome, by the way.
Brady: Thank you very much.
Melanie: Yeah.
Brady: Oh, God, what the hell happened?
Melanie: There was another cave-in.
Brady: Another one? Wow, these cave- ins are becoming quite the nuisance, aren't they?
Melanie: Yeah, sure. Well, you--you can tell your kids your wedding started with a bang. [Snickers]
Brady: [Chuckles weakly] I don't think there's enough oxygen down here, because my brain is telling me that that was funny.
Ian: Why don't you go away? Leave me alone.
Kate: In your hour of need? What kind of friend would that make me? This isn't the answer, you know. You can't drown your sorrow in single malt. I, however... can use it to propose a toast. To SOBs getting what they deserve.
Ian: She died tonight. Does that mean nothing to you?
Kate: I'm so sorry. Was that insensitive of me? You know, because I don't want to cross the line.
Abigail: [Sniffles] Oh, Mom. I had the greatest dad in the whole world. I hope he knew that I knew that.
Jennifer: He was, and-- and he did.
Abigail: I don't know what I did to deserve such a good dad.
Ian: [Laughs] The empty hours. The empty hours! What, since you lost the love of your life?
Kate: Yes.
Ian: He blackmailed you into marrying him. He didn't even have to pay you cash for your services.
Ian: What a wonderful marriage it must have been. Must have been very deep and very fulfilling for me to get you into bed so easily.
Kate: The worst five minutes of my life.
Ian: Don't forget. I was there.
Kate: I wish I could forget.
Kate: Don't you do that. Don't you dare compare yourself to him. You are not even in his class. Not in the boardroom, and not in the bedroom.
Ian: Stefano was the scum of the earth. You should be happy to be rid of him. You should be down on your knees, grateful, thankful that I killed him.
