Bill: You're stronger than Quinn. You both are.
Liam: It’s not -- It’s not about strong or weak. It's my -- my life was fundamentally changed. I mean, yeah, Steffy and I had some kinks to work out. Who doesn’t? But we knew the direction we were headed, and Quinn destroyed all of that.
Bill: I understand. And if I had my way, Quinn would suffer. But sometimes you have to cut your losses. Justin counseled you not to press charges. Hard for me to accept, but okay. But that means that Quinn is no longer a factor. It's up to you now.
Liam: I'm fighting the battle, Dad. That's all I can tell you.
Bill: Well, fighting the battle means changing your attitude and respecting the fact that Wyatt and Steffy are married. We're Spencer men, Liam. Loyally, commitment. It's a brotherhood. No one interferes with that.
Liam: Yeah, well, at least I have you as an example of that.
Bill: There are better examples than me.
Liam: See, now, why would you say that? 'Cause we’re -- we're talking about respecting marriage, right, and you've done that as well as anyone I know. Isn’t that what you’re saying?
Bill: Marriage is at the heart of civilization. That bond of loyalty, commitment is paramount. Empires have fallen without it. I want you to remember that the next time you’re looking at your brother and his wife. I will have zero tolerance, Liam. That's how much marriage means to me.
