Justin: Okay, so why would Katie do that?
Bill: You're not gonna believe this, but in her depressed state, Katie was trying to bring Brooke and me together to act as parents to will. That's how messed up she was. I know, but in her-- in her distorted thinking, it made perfect sense.
Justin: Huh. Well, it didn't work, did it?
Bill: Well...Brooke and I got closer, you know. I mean, it's only natural. How--how could we not? It was a very intense time-- left by our spouses, having to take care of a baby who needed us. We developed a friendship.
Justin: Well, Brooke is Katie's sister. It's family. I guess it's better for everyone that you two aren't at odds.
Bill: I don't know that Taylor sees it that way. She's always had issues with Brooke.
Justin: Well, she's seen the bond developing between you two, and the good doctor is now insinuating things.
Bill: That's what I like about my shiny headed friend. I never have to paint a picture for you.
Justin: Well, well, Mr. Dollar Bill, is she coming out of left field, or is there something you haven't told me?
Bill: Uh, look, don't. Just don't even go there. Katie is our first priority. Brooke and I want to see her happy and--and content back in her life as a wife and a mother, loving sister. And that's all that matters.
