Brooke: You know, though, Ridge, there's something I have to say. I-I wanted to tell you this, and I was going to Thomas and I ate those berries, too.
Ridge: You and Thomas ate the berries?
Brooke: Yes. We ate the berries. We were desperate. We were starving. We were so thirsty. And Thomas said that they were probably poisonous, but I didn't care. I thought we were gonna die anyway. So I ate them. And they made me feel better, so I convinced Thomas to have some, too, and he did.
Ridge: They made you feel better? How? What happened?
Brooke: We were high, euphoric. It put us in an altered state. Definitely, it was not reality.
Ridge: And what? What--what--what else did they make you feel? Was it, uh, did you feel something chemical or... sexual?
Brooke: No. Gosh, no, no. It... it wasn't like that. I mean, there was a closeness, but it was... I-I mean, it was amazing, really. We were in this cave, and there were colors and flowers and waterfalls... And then we blacked out.
Ridge: You blacked out? Did something happen between the two of you before you blacked out?
Brooke: If you're talking about something sexual, no, Ridge. I would never cross the line like that with your son, and you know it. We woke up with our clothes on. Nothing like that happened.
Ridge: Hmm. You blacked out. How do you know what really happened to you in the cave, though? How can you be sure?
