Taylor: I'm sorry. I didn't say that. No. I don't--I don't know exactly what I was saying, but I don't-- no, I don't think that would happen. But something will. Something will happen. Something that could destroy our son's reputation. I'm telling you, Ridge. Brooke thrives on chaos, and you know that. As a doctor, I know what kind of pattern that is. As a mother, I'm telling you that--that every instinct in my body is telling me-- it's screaming for me to get my son away from that woman.
Ridge: I don't understand this. I thought you two were getting along well. You've been working so well with her, handling this situation with my mother's cancer. What happened?
Taylor: What can I say? Brooke has her moments. I've tried to work with her. I've tried to be friends with her. I've tried to gain her trust, but you know what? Every time I do, I get burned. So this is all you have to do. Just say no to this men's line, and then I won't have to worry about that happening to our son.
