Ridge: I'd say she's one of the finest human beings on this planet. How could you do this, Nick, after everything she did for you and Katie?
Nick: Forrester, this is between Bridget and me. I don't have to defend myself to you.
Ridge: That's because there is no defense. What you did to her was appalling.
Nick: Some things happened that shouldn't have, and I'll regret hurting Bridget forever, but there are some complexities that you don't understand.
Ridge: And what's so complex, being true to the woman you supposedly love and married?
Nick: Well, maybe you should ask Brooke. Maybe she can explain that to ya, because she wasn't always true to you, and guess what, Forrester... You forgave her.
Ridge: Nick, you were just a speed bump in our relationship. That's all. That's all in the past now. Thank God Bridget is out of your life, and Brooke, too, for that matter, for good. You know, I never liked you, and after all this is over, I don't want anything to do with you ever, ever again.
