Mike Kasnoff (currently played by Mark Collier Written by
Frederique)
Mike Kasnoff is one sexy man in As the World Turns. He
is a real good guy. Sometimes he makes a
mistake, but that has to do with women's charms.
When Mike first came into the show, he started a
romance with Rosanna. Then he cheated with Carly and
started a romance with her. Carly got pregnant but
lost the child. They still have a strong
connection because of this that lasts until today.
For a while, Mike left town, and when he came back,
he started dating Molly (Carly's cousin). He met her
in New York when she was grieving for her husband. He
was really sweet to her, very comforting; the kind of
man all women dream of. He got really close to Molly
and was totally crazy about her. He said all the right
things and made all the right moves.
When Mike found out Molly had kept a secret from him,
he was totally beat down. There is nothing he finds
more important than honesty (in a relationship). He
broke up with Molly and that night he had a one-night
stand with Carly.
He has tried to make everything better for all
parties. Mike is the kind of guy that is not a good
liar. Rosanna can still read his thoughts. Mike always
wants what is best for everyone. Especially for those
he loves. He will go through fire for Carly.
Mike is also a very proud man. He wants to earn his
own money on his own way. Being a construction
foreman, he is very tough on the outside, but sweet on
the inside. He can also apologize and mean it, and his
sweet puppy-eyes make you believe anything he says.
He has fallen in love with Katie, but she still loves her ex-husband Simon.
It remains to be seen whether she can forget about Simon and move on with him.
In the meantime, Mike has been keeping Carly company while she thought her
husband Jack was dead.
