Yes, I know like many of you that I was very upset to learn that PP was
cutting the show down to two days a weeks. Different reasons were cited for this
decision. Some reasons I can understand (like budget) but that people can't keep
up watching the shows? They were on four days and with commercials we were
talking about maybe 22 minutes of show. We were watching five days a week for
one-hour shows when it was on regular TV. Yes, I know some of you are saying we
weren't watching, that is why they took the show off. However, the big reason
for the show being on the Internet was that you could watch it whenever you wanted,
even on your smartphones and tablets. I guess we will have to just see what
happens.
I mentioned how much I like the friendship between David and Angie. What
would happen if it became more than just friendship? A friend of mine had a
theory that on soaps when two people who are not together hold hands, they wind
up down the road as a couple. David held Angie's hand today at the hospital when
he wanted to take her home to eat and rest. Just a thought.
At least Bianca is upset with JR for killing Marissa. It seems like she and
David are the only two people who hold him accountable for her death. Boy.
I saw that slap coming!
Billy Clyde is back and a Holy Roller Pimp? I can't wait to see this play
out. There are plenty of people in Pine Valley still around from when he was
causing trouble. What will Dixie have to say when she finds out he is still
alive? Angie was none too happy to see him either.
Poor Cassandra! How could she know that mentioning her stepdad is the Chief
of Police in PV would get back to the boss and cause her more trouble?
I have a hard time believing that the other day was the first time Miranda
has been teased about her mother being gay.
WOW! I am sure AJ was pleased to hear Miranda tell him the old "I just want
to be friends line." That is something every guy wants to hear from the girl
they are secretly in love with. Miranda does have a point that it would be kind
of weird for them to be a couple as they have almost been raised like brother
and sister. I just remembered something I forgot to mention in my article the
first week of the show. When Miranda burst into AJ's room and he was basically
naked and a bit embarrassed, she just laughed, saying she has seen him naked
many times since they were little. True, but I don't think she would feel the
same way if the situation was reversed and AJ caught her undressed.
JR and Cara seem to be becoming bosom buddies. She, of course, is worried about JR
spilling her secret to David about their child. JR, of course, seems to be happy
just to have a friend. Of course, it doesn't hurt that his new friend is David's
baby mama. I see the potential here for JR and Cara hooking up romantically for
a while at least, as I believe Angie and David will, too.
AJ and steroids is a topical storyline. Not just to explore that whole issue
of doping and how it is affecting so many young people involved in sports. Also,
AJ's family has a history of substance abuse problems.
Ok, that was a real creepy dream Celia had and that young girl was chilling
when she turned around and spoke to her. Obviously, there is more to her parents'
death (if they are dead) than she or we knows about (at least consciously).
