I know it has been a while since I last wrote an article but time
has just slipped away.
I am happy that SOAPnet has continued showing episodes. It keeps
me company late at night with my insomnia. Here are some general
thoughts:
1. Doesn’t anyone see how unhinged Hannah is? I don’t find
her character sympathetic at all. She could have made contact with
Ethan before he died. She could have shadowed him in England just to
see him and how he was doing. She also could have gone on with her
life and found someone, married, had another child. Not that one
child replaces another.
2. While I am glad that Josh is over Babe, he is now
fixated on Hannah. I don’t care for that storyline as well.
3. I also do not care for the character of Ava. I find her
voice like nails on a chalkboard and her surliness just way too
much. I guess they had to give the actress who plays Lily something
more to do.
4. I always thought that when Greenlee returned (played by
Sabine Singh) she had a tough assignment. Almost every character on
the show was pissed at her or wanted her gone. I did appreciate the
storyline with her and Zach trapped in the bunker. I always felt
that TPTB had originally asked Rebecca Budig to resume the role, but
she declined because of the negative storyline that they were
planning on doing. She conveniently returned and pushed out Sabine
right at the end of the storyline when Greenlee was finally redeemed
in everyone’s eyes and forgiven by all.
5. The New Divorce storyline with Erica and Jack is
pathetic. I also cannot stand Erica’s assistant, Pam.
6. This new story arc will eventually lead to the Hubbard
family returning, a long time character being killed, and Tad
eventually finding someone he thought he had lost forever.
