This article and another are from Bill Smith, who says, "I thought you may be interested in the attached cuttings of Anna Lee when she was living at Cardinal's Wharf on Bankside in London with husband Robert Stevenson in the 1930s. They are taken from film magazines of the time, one is Film Pictorial for 17th October 1936, but the other is unidentified. I believe they are both British publications. I particularly like the photograph of Robert and Anna sitting on the first floor windowsill, taken presumably from a crane out over the Thames. Many features of the house are still recognizable today. It can be seen to advantage from the Millennium Bridge which links St Paul's cathedral and the Tate Modern gallery. However, if you mention it on the website, I think you should make it clear it is still a private house and not open to the public."
