While Cristian and Layla are arguing at Buenos Dias, they become locked in the freezer room.

At the hospital, John waits to find out what happened to Blair. Addie comes out and informs him that they were able to reduce the swelling in Blair’s brain for the time being, but that is all they can do for now. She thanks him for taking care of Jack and Sam and her daughter. He tells her he can do that any time. She tells him that she wants another favor from him if he can make it possible. To find the person who did this to her daughter.

Before Todd is arraigned in court, he notices Téa and assumes she is there to represent him, even though she told him she has withdrawn from his case. Right then, Marty appears and informs him that Téa is not there to represent him. She’s there to represent Marty.

After Michael informs Rex and Gigi that Shane will need a bone marrow transplant right away, they wonder how that can happen.

Right then, Stacy finds Roxy, reveals that she has been spying upon her, and knows her dirty little secret. She happens to know that she’s been hiding a “John Doe” who is a bone marrow donor, and she knows who he really is.

Rex and Gigi are at the chapel. She tells him they must prepare for what will happen if Shane dies, but he firmly tells her that they mustn’t believe for a minute that their son will die. She tells him that she used to be strong when she believed there were answers. When all she needed was an inhaler that she could work overtime in order to afford, it was simple. Now, what does she do? He tells her there is always hope. She tells him that sometimes hope alone is not enough.

Stacy asks Roxy why Shane’s grandma would want to identify a “John Doe” as a donor to save her grandson’s life without taking any credit for it. She tells Roxy she knows that she is full of it; she knows the truth about everything.

At the police station, Todd’s lawyer is there for him. Marty appears to have Téa to represent Cole.

Addie tells John that she really likes the way he has always been there for Blair, Starr, Cole, and everybody.

John goes to find Officer Fish who knows that he is no longer on the force. Fish informs him that the Llanview police have hired him because they are short-staffed since Detective Vega is on a special assignment. John says that’s good. Fish can detect a suspicious look in John’s eye.

When locked in the freezer room with Cristian, Layla yells for help, but he tells her that nobody can hear them. He tells her that one of the waitresses knows he was going to the freezer, and hopefully will know that he is in there. She asks him if that means that they will be stuck in there and die of hypothermia, but he obviously characterizes her as a nasty bitch and judges her, she reminds him. She informs him that Oliver Fish told her that he does not see her that way and believes she is a quality person.

John and Officer Fish talk about the unsolved mystery of the stabbing deaths of Lee Halpern and Wes Granger and the attempted stabbing death of Blair.

Marty admits to Téa that she believes that Téa is despicable, and that is why she believes she can make use of her as a defense attorney for Cole.

Rex admits to Gigi that he has not been to church in a long time, but throughout the last year or so, he has come to believe in miracles.

Stacy tells Roxy that she knows where she keeps sneaking off. Roxy asks her just how she would know that. Stacy informs her that she followed her there and hid behind the curtain to overhear her tell an unseen person that “their grandson” and their son need him. Roxy then concludes that that must mean that Stacy knows her deep dark secret that she does not want anybody to know, including her son and grandson.

After Layla informs Cristian that Fish said that he believes she is not a bitch, he tells her he believes that Fish was just being nice. Nobody likes her attitude, and she’s going to die bitter and alone if she does not make some changes.

Marty admits to Téa that she knows that her son is in big trouble. He could go to prison if convicted. Cole was starting to turn his life around. He was accepted into college. He needs an excellent lawyer who can work miracles for him. Téa then reminds Marty that there are plenty of other lawyers out there, but Marty reminds Téa that if she can help Todd Manning beat the charges, she can work magic. She is the only lawyer Marty believes can help Cole.

Rex tells Gigi that he believes in miracles. What are the odds that out of all the places he could have wound up in order to find Marcie a year ago, when Michael asked him to, it had to be Paris, Texas. Of all the places Gigi could have wound up when they thought they’d never see each other again, she had to be there. Another miracle occurred when he found out that he had a son with the love of his life that he never knew about. If that is not a miracle based on fate, he does not know what is.

Stacy tells Roxy that she saw the mysterious John Doe for herself. She could see that “old Johnny” seems to have some history, and she can see why Roxy would not want Rex to know that his daddy is alive. She tells Roxy that maybe Roxy is not going to tell anybody, but she will. Roxy asks Stacy why she could be so mean to Rex and his son. She knows that Stacy just wanted to take her sister’s guy, and she doesn’t care whose life she ruins in the process. Stacy says she knows that Roxy abandoned her son when he was a child and did not care about him. She says and she knows that Rex should be her man.

Gigi is very worried about the outcome and doesn’t know what to do. She cries. Rex tells her that they will all fight and be together. He holds her and tells her that they can do this. They are a miracle and as long as they are together, they can make miracles happen.

Todd tells his lawyer that he needs to get his kids back. It appears that he does not believe that his lawyer is doing as good of a job in getting him what he wants as Téa would. Not far away, Marty asks Téa if she will agree to take the case. Téa replies that as a matter of fact, she could use a little “distraction”.

Fish goes to John’s home with the evidence he was able to find about the three stabbings.

Fish goes to John’s home with the evidence he was able to find about the three stabbings.

John asks Marty to come to his place and tells her it is important. When Marty arrives, he shows her the photos of Lee Halpern, Wes and Blair. She tells him that she knows he is keeping a secret. She reminds John that that woman (Lee Halpern) helped Todd keep her captive, so she’d like to know what is going on.

Rex leaves Gigi alone in the chapel to pray. Alone, she asks God if he is there, it’s time they get some things straight.

Roxy tells Stacy that she will not let her grandson die. She demands that Stacy tell her what kind of a person she thinks she is. Stacy then asks Roxy what she thinks Rex will do after he finds out that she’s kept him form knowing about his real father. They both know that Rex will hate her guts for the rest of their lives. Roxy cries and realizes that she has no choice except to do what her son and grandson need. Stacy then tells Roxy that she will not spill the beans to Rex, but Roxy must do exactly what she says.

While locked in the freezer, Cristian and Layla look like they want to help prevent each other from freezing.

Now Téa represents Marty. Todd’s new lawyer does not promise his client what Téa always did. Téa admits that she still has Todd on the brain. She still appears to have a need to rescue him, and she must restrain herself from her addictive desire.

While Addie is in the hospital with the children outside Blair’s ICU room, a strange man comes asks about Blair. Addie informs him that she is in the ICU and he cannot see her. She informs him that she is Blair’s mother. He tells her that as Blair’s next of kin, he is serving her with a court document. Meanwhile Todd’s attorney advises Todd that the notice of Todd’s intent to gain custody of his children is being served right now.

John shows Marty the mysterious letters K, A, and D found on the stab victims. He asks her if they mean anything to her. She admits that they are the letters of the frat house where she was raped.

Gigi tells God that she knows she has done wrong, but Shane is just a little boy. The worst thing he ever did wrong was steal a candy bar and she made him go and pay for it with his allowance. She cries and tells God that she will do anything in order to save her son’s life. Right outside the door, Stacy spies and eavesdrops.

Rex goes and finds his mother and notices that she is spooked about something. He asks her what is up. She hasn’t a clue what to tell her son.

Gigi tells God that she will do anything in order to save her son’s life. Whatever He wants her to do. Whatever sacrifice -- done. All she asks is that her son can live. Right then, Stacy enters. She appears to be “gracious" as she tells her sister that there is good news. They have found a bone marrow donor for Shane. Gigi asks who it is. Is it somebody they know? Gig tells her sister yes. It’s herself.
