Rex and Adriana have arrived at La Boulaie, and Dorian is thrilled to see them, especially Adriana. Dorian goes to her daughter for a festive hug but Adriana isn't into it. And Adriana isn't smiling. Dorian bought a gift hoping that she would get to see her daughter and now she has a chance to give it to her. Adriana has something for her as well and by the look on her face, it isn't a present.

"You know what? This is my best Christmas ever. Well, it's actually kind of my only Christmas. My first Christmas. But it is definitely my most special Christmas. You know why? Because I get to spend it with you. Your mummy made sure of that. She made this Christmas special. Which is why I did something special for her. Hmm?" Nash talks to Bree who is oblivious to everything that he is saying to her.

Antonio and Jessica arrive at Viki's house for Christmas and everyone is there to greet them. Clint, Viki and Asa arrived earlier for the holiday celebration, and there are others that will be arriving soon. Clint takes the gifts from Antonio and puts them under the tree, while Viki marvels at how many there are. Asa jokes that the gifts must be for him, but Jessica says that depends on whether he has been a good boy or not that year. He has to admit that he probably hasn't. Viki is surprised to see that the children are not there. Viki says that she felt that Bree should spend some time with her father. Jamie is with her grandfather. Viki is assured that the kids love their presents, which makes Viki thrilled. The Buchanans have grown to love Jamie just as much as if she were biologically theirs. Jessica loves that the whole family is there like this. Asa fights to have a drink but Renée is right there to stop him. Viki has a great idea for a family tradition. "I think I would like to start the holiday with a toast. But I'm not going to do it. Would you mind, please?" Clint will be happy to do the toast for the family but he will wait until more people show up first. As if on cue, Roxy arrives wearing a Santa's hat. "Well, everybody is here, so the drinking can begin. Merry Christmas, everyone. And you know you can stop pretending not to look so surprised. Nattie invited me." Viki didn't know that. Suddenly everyone realizes that Natalie isn't there. They figure that she must have forgotten to invite herself. Jessica knows that Natalie is right where she wants to be.

John sits up and swings his legs over the side of the bed. Natalie is thrilled to see his progress. He wants to try standing but the staff tell him that it isn't time for that yet. Michael and Marcie arrive and wish the shut-in couple a Merry Christmas! Tommy is dressed as Santa for the visit and Natalie can't stop staring at how cute he looks. "Well, yeah. We had to park the reindeer up on the rooftop. You know, I don't know -- the hospital has a silly rule about no animals in the hospital." Michael goes to his brother, happy to see that he is sitting up and getting well. John says that he has to sit up to open his presents. "You know, John was always the first one down at the Christmas tree. Every morning, he opened all his gifts before anybody woke up," Michael shares. John said that he did that but Michael would open his the night before. Michael denies that he ever did that. "I doubt that, because someone opened his presents last night. I wonder who was that, hmm?" Marcie jokes. Michael thinks that that Santa must have been the one to open the presents. Natalie says that there are more presents, so all isn't lost. Marcie didn't expect that from her, but Natalie tells that she didn't do anything. The presents are from John. John admits that he chose the presents but he had help. Michael hopes that Natalie didn't have to buy her own gift from John. "No, she didn't have to. We already know what John bought her. His mom's engagement ring. Let's see it," Marcie says grabbing at Natalie's finger. The ring isn't there. Marcie quickly realizes her mistake and apologizes to Natalie for assuming. John and Natalie are fine with the faux pas on Marcie's part. They say it's not a big deal. Natalie explains. "No, it's ok. My present from John was seeing him out of bed. And the fact that he's been a good boy for Santa and hasn't run out of this hospital just yet." Marcie feels that she has gotten a little present as well. Tommy has just wet himself and needs to be changed. Michael offers to take care of the boy but Marcie insists on doing it herself. John jokes that instead of Tommy wearing the Santa suit, Michael should have been wearing it. Michael says that he would have but it didn't fit. "Yeah, well, you know, I was going to spend my Christmas with a bunch of complete strangers, but, you know, I figured I'd throw you a bone," Michael tells. John appreciates it but wishes that his mother were there. "Yeah. You know, I -- I talked to her. She called from the cruise. She's more into calypso right now. Said that she'll come and see us when she gets back, maybe spend some time." John looks at Natalie who stands quietly in the room as he talks to Michael. " Hey, you know, I -- I don't want to keep you from your mom and the rest of your family," John says to Natalie. She tells that she and Michael haven't given him his present yet. John worries now that he knows that the two have been in cahoots. Michael assures John that he and Natalie have only been conspiring a little bit. John thinks that he is getting out but that's not quite what is happening. "Ok. Well, what I have arranged is that you are going to be moved to Llanview hospital for your recovery, where I can keep a better eye on you," Michael reveals. John likes that idea a lot.

Paige is nearby when she overhears Spencer calling his nurse 'Blair' and asking her how she is . She tells him strongly that isn't her name. Paige feels that this is Spencer's feeble attempt at still latching on to his insanity status. "Are you still trying to convince people you're a doctor? Listen, you're not qualified, nor are you authorized to review my chart. Get lost," he orders. Paige has every right to be there. "Actually, I am authorized. The hospital reinstated me. I got my license back. I'm practicing medicine again." He finds that her treating him is in fact a good thing. "Then you'll be the first one I name in my lawsuit against Llanview hospital. They really wouldn't be stupid enough to assign my ex-wife my case, would they?" She finds it interesting that he of all people are using ethics to win an argument. "You're in no position to talk ethics with me. Why are you here, Paige? Did you just come to harass me to death?" She is taking care of Spencer as a present to herself. "I just love seeing you chained to the bed, helpless, unable to hurt anybody."

Bo enters the room now. "A lot of people would like to see that. I ought to bring a camera down here and get a picture. How'd you get past the guard?" Bo asks Paige. She says that as a doctor, she is allowed to enter. "What, you posted a guard outside my door? I'm flattered. What's the matter? You think I'd try to escape?" Spencer asks smirking. "No, no, no. See, it's not so much about people trying to get out of here, it's people trying to get in here, because there's a lot of people who would like to see you dead," Bo explains. The smile quickly leaves Spencer's face.

Clint has ornaments for all the kids and Viki finds that very thoughtful of him. They both start hanging the ornaments on the tree together. Antonio has to head in to work and take of something quickly. He promises that he will be back with Jessica soon. He says his final 'I love you', and leaves the house. Renée finds a gift under the tree for Jessica that they missed before. Roxy suggests that a secret admirer left the gift since there isn't a name on it, regarding who it is from. Jessica looks down at the gift thoughtfully now.

"Hey, look, baby girl, there's one more present. One more present. Over here. Look. It's got a big bow on it. Let's see what it is. Let's see what it is. It's -- oh, you're not going to believe this. A rocker. It's a motorcycle jacket. It's from your mummy Tess. She told me to tell you merry Christmas. And she would be here if she could," Nash tells Bree.

"I love presents. Though, of course, the best gift of all would be having Blair here and healthy. But having you here for Christmas -- well, that's right at the top of my list. We'll have a second Christmas when she's out of the hospital. Well, I've got a present for you," Dorian tells her daughter. Dorian shows the cheque from the Richard Lafleur fellow who seemed to be interested in her business idea. She offers it to Dorian now. Rex tells Dorian that he told her about the trick Dorian tried to play on her. When Dorian refuses to take the money, Adriana tears it up. Dorian freaks out as the cheque is a cashier's cheque and is as good as cash. Carlotta and some others arrive at La Boulaie to wish Dorian a Merry Christmas. "Merry Christmas, you guys. I'm sorry that Rex and I can't stay. I wish you were my real mother," Adriana says to Carlotta on the way out.

Evangeline thinks that maybe this wasn't a good idea but Dorian wants the group to stay. She needs their help getting her daughter back. "Cristian, I know how close you and Adriana are. Couldn't you please talk to her? Convince her that she does need her mother?" Dorian begs. "Um -- I'm really sorry, Dorian, but I'm not good with that kind of stuff. Besides, you know Adriana. She's stubborn." Evangeline knows about these kinds of relationships. "Dorian, my mom and I -- we have our ups and downs, too. But in time, we forget why we were even mad at each other, you know? And we make up. I -- I think she'll come around." Dorian is grateful to Evangeline for her perspective on things. "Thank you, but I did some pretty terrible things, and I don't think Adriana's going to forget," Dorian explains. Carlotta and the gang are willing to stay longer with Dorian, but she knows that they have other places that they probably need to go that day. "Mami, maybe Dorian's right. Antonio's coming by and we don't want to be late. Merry Christmas," Cristian says on his way out of the house with the others. Everyone says their good-byes and Dorian assures them all that she will be fine. She says that she has a lot of people coming over that day to visit.

Jessica opens her mystery present and finds that it is a beautiful gold locket with a puffed heart on it. Renée sees the gift and remarks that those Vega boys sure know how to shop for gifts.

"You know, a friend of mine in high school -- his mom had this locket around her neck with a picture of him in it," Nash tells Bree…

Natalie arrives at the family celebration and her mother is the first one she sees. Natalie tells how John is in and out of bed now. Viki is delighted. "I hope you guys don't mind. I'm going to only stay for a little while. I want to go back to him," Natalie says to her mother. Natalie is thrilled that her mother made a point of inviting Roxy to the party. "Honey, you invited me. Or maybe you forgot because everything going on with that cutie-patootie in the hospital," Roxy says. Both ladies couldn't enjoy Christmas without the other. They hug.

Natalie leaves now to go and see her sister for a bit. Natalie loves the necklace that Jessica is holding. Jessica notices that Natalie has no ring. Natalie says that she and John have been talking about that… Natalie tells how John doesn't feel that the hospital is the place to propose to someone, even though she couldn't care less where he does it. He could propose now but he has other things on his mind that take priority. Jessica is all ears now.

"There wasn't anybody else in the hospital that had the proper training," Michael explains to John who is curious about his brother working on Spencer in the OR. John understands that it wasn't something that Michael probably had a lot of choice about. "I got to tell you, Johnny, there were a couple of moments there, you know, where I really considered making a little mistake." John's glad the crazy bastard didn't die on the table like that. "You know, that kind of death would be too easy for him. I'm kind of imagining something a little more painful," John shares. Michael doubts that his brother will get his wish. "Yeah? Well, something painful isn't going to happen if he can convince the judge that he's a freak." John doesn't care what the judge decides. "Mike, sooner or later, he has to be released from that hospital. And I'll be there to put an end to this once and for all."

"Well, kind of silly, isn't it? I mean, what good does it do to post a guard outside my door when the two people that hate me the most are standing here right in front of me, even though I didn't do anything to either one of you," Spencer observes. Bo and Paige tell Spencer that he is preaching to the choir here. What Spencer says happens to make perfect sense, in a sense. Spencer is smug, but in spite of all his attempts, Bo and Paige are still together and haven't lost a thing. Bo and Paige leave Spencer now to be alone with his miserable self. "Oh -- don't worry, mama, I'm not dead, and I'm not in prison. This is only a temporary situation. And I will get out of this," Spencer promises.

Dorian calls Clint up on the phone. Viki stands by quietly while Clint takes his call. Dorian would like Clint to stop by for a drink but Clint tells that he will be spending the day with family. Dorian says that she understands and that she too will be having family over for the holidays. She says that La Boulaie is going to be a madhouse. Clint is sure that it will be. He says that he will call her later and he hangs up.

"I don't know how, but we have managed to forge some sort of friendship. It's just that I still find it difficult to get past what she did to Adriana," Clint explains to Viki when she asks about his friendship with Dorian… Natalie is there all smiles and greetings when Rex and Adriana arrive at the celebration. Bo and Paige arrive next and Natalie greets them too. Bo is thrilled to see his niece there. She apologizes for rushing off but she really just wants to get back to John now. Natalie promises to tell John that everyone wishes him well. "But you'll be able to tell him yourself tomorrow, because he's coming to Llanview hospital." Bo and Paige love getting this update. Everyone says 'goodbye' to Natalie and she heads out.

Viki loves the locket but she can tell by the look on Jessica's face that it didn't come from Antonio. Jessica tells that the gift is from Nash.

"Well, darling, you're not a mind reader, so you can't possibly know what it means to him to have given this to you. You can only know what it means to you. You'll grow into it, I promise. You know what? You are looking more and more like your mummy every day, both Jessica and Tess. She's turning into a great mom. Yes, she is. She is beautiful and charming and funny and married to Antonio. Hmm.," Nash says bringing himself back to reality as he talks with his daughter.

"I'm sorry I made you give up Christmas. But if Blair Cramer's awake, I'd like to see if she can remember anything about falling off that warehouse roof. And I got a feeling she'd rather talk to a woman," Antonio tells Talia before sending her off to guard Spencer's door at the hospital. Talia is fine with working the holiday and she and Antonio set out to get set up.

Natalie wants to get in to see Spencer but she isn't on the list. She tells the officer at Spencer's door that she can wait if he wants to call her uncle to give her clearance. Spencer puts on his most charming smile when he who has come to visit. Natalie tells that she is there to give John a Merry Christmas like he deserves. Spencer smiles at her waiting to hear what this unexpected visit is all about.

"So, Johnny, you're going to put an end to it once and for all, huh? How you planning on doing that?" Michael asks John about Spencer. "You know, Mike, I've -- I've blurred the line a few times, but I've never completely crossed it. I don't plan on changing that now," John assures. "I just want to get back to work, you know. And for his own sake, hopefully Truman's found guilty and put in prison." Marcie has concerns about the sentence that Spencer might get. " I mean, if Spencer is executed, then Todd will never find out what happened to his son," she explains. "Oh, I wouldn't worry too much for Todd manning, ok? With or without spencer's help, he's going to find out who his kid is," Michael knows. "I -- I feel sorry for him. You know, I -- I can't imagine what it must be like to be separated from your child, not to know where he is, if he's in trouble or -- it -- it's just a lot," Marcie says trying to put herself in Todd's shoes. "I sympathize to a point. But if he took the law into his own hands, I wouldn't have a problem putting him in jail," John says of Todd.

"Let me guess -- Ahem. I know what you're thinking -- you're thinking that if you kill me, that you can win over Johnny boy's heart, right?" Spencer asks Natalie. Natalie finds it funny that Spencer thinks that she wants to kill him. "Well, John would not be too sad to see you dead. But what John wants is to see you punished for his father's murder. And since he can't be here himself, I've decided to come by and make sure you're as bad off as I heard you were." Spencer rolls his eyes at her. "Well, as long as it makes sense to you, Natalie. The point is, I really won't be here that long." Natalie agrees. "No. No, you won't. You'll be back at Wingdale. And as soon as the shrinks figure out that you're faking insanity, you'll go right back to trial." Spencer lets Nat in on a little secret. "I'm as sane as you are, Natalie, if not more so. The difference is, I'm not deluding myself with who killed your boyfriend's daddy." Natalie smiles. "Really? So are you admitting that you did it? Well, it's about time, Spencer. Can't wait to tell John."

"All right. You know I'm not that great with speeches. But this -- this past year turned out to be pretty incredible. Well, you got me through it. Your love made me strong. And I wanted to get you something that showed you just how much I love you. Something really, really special," Cris tells Evangeline. "Oh. Cristian, you know, I love you, but -- but I think this is really -- we haven't really talked about this, and I -- I really think maybe this is too soon." Cristian rummages around looking for something and in the meantime Evangeline tries to stop what she thinks is going to happen next. Finally, he finds what he is looking for in his apartment and hands Evangeline the little wrapped box. It's bigger than a ring box. Cris pushes Evangeline to open the gift. She does and finds jewelry inside, but not a ring. He could tell that she thought there was a ring inside. "Well, Nora -- she -- she was -- she said to me yesterday that -- that Christmas is official proposal day, so I -- so --" Christmas really isn't proposal day. Nora was just having a little fun with the new ADA. "So wait a minute. If I asked you to marry me right now, you would say just no just like that? No "let me think about it," or --" She would tell him that she loved him but that this time in their lives really isn't the right time. Cris agrees. Evangeline has something for him now. "Open it. Open it. Ok. I know it's no substitute. And I -- I -- but I know you're an artist, and I wanted to get you something, you know, that you could use because you have a great eye. You are a great artist, Cristian. I will not let you give that up. Do you like it?" He looks down at the camera equipment that Evangeline purchased for him. He loves the thoughtful gift. "Merry Christmas…"

Jessica shows up at the vineyard where Nash and Bree are hanging out. Jessica loves the leather jacket on the child. When Jessica learns that this was a gift that Tess arranged for the baby to have before she left, Jessica remarks that the woman had good taste. Jessica gets to the point, explaining that she can't take keep the locket that the bought her. She hasn't any idea what it means and that concerns her. "Open it. You haven't opened it. Open it up. It's not going to bite you. Open it, open it, open it." Jessica protests at first but then gets a fingernail in between the opening of the puffed heart of the locket and she opens it. A tiny picture of Bree is inside on the right… Jessica apologizes now. She completely read into this all wrong and she feels sorry now. He says that he got the idea as this way, Bree would always be close to her heart like they discussed. Jessica understands completely now. He is really glad to see her there. He wanted to thank her for allowing Bree to spend Christmas with him.

Antonio suddenly appears, letting himself in the house without knocking. "The work thing was a little quicker than I thought. I got your message that you were coming over, so I thought I'd meet you here," Antonio explains of how he found her. "Antonio wishes Nash and Bree a wonderful Christmas in greeting. Jessica shows off her Christmas present from Nash. Antonio looks at it closely. He likes the locket and does the honors of putting it on Jessica.

Viki chats with Rex now. She wonders if everything is okay with Rex. He speaks of Adriana and what has recently gone on with her. "The thing is, her anger towards her mother is eating her up inside. I've done some pretty awful things myself. But if Adriana would have never forgiven me, we wouldn't be together. So why can't she give her the same break?" Bo comes over to visit with the pair now.

Rex gives the man a gift hoping that Bo will not get all weepy over it. He hands Bo some tickets. He jokes that they are for the opera before telling the truth that the tickets are really for a Sixers game. "You serious? Center court on the floor? Whoa -- wait a minute? Where'd you score tickets like this?" Rex tells how he special contact. "One of the players comes into UV All the time. I figured you'd maybe like to take Paige and Matthew -- you know, whoever else." Bo can't hide his excitement. "Oh, man, Paige and Matthew -- they love basketball. And so does Clint! Just Kidding! No, here you go. See you at courtside, Balsom," Bo says after handing over one of the tickets.

Roxy comments to Clint how he and Viki are looking really cozy. Viki finds one of the ornaments that Joey made when he was a child. "Never had the chance to make ornaments for Dorian's tree. Ah, she probably wouldn't have put them on. Too homemade-looking," Adriana notes. Viki hears that anger in Adriana's voice. "Yeah. You know, when Natalie came back into my life, she was really, really angry with me because I hadn't raised her. But somehow, she managed to get past all that anger, and I'm very lucky to have her in my life. I've made some terrible mistakes as a mother. There are times I don't sleep at night when I think of the things that I did to my children." Adriana knows that Viki's children have forgiven her for the mistakes that she has made, and feels that is because Viki deserves forgiveness. "Honey -- huh -- as different as Dorian and I are, we share one thing in common. We really love our children," Viki says. "Look, we both know she's never going to change. But, Adriana, I know that she loves you very, very much, and I know that you love her, too. Otherwise, you wouldn't be so hurt and so angry. You can make it go away, you know. Forgiveness is in your heart. You look for it there and you'll find it. And I hope you'll use it."

Dorian: La Boulaie, bon noel. Oh, David -- hi. How are you? No, no. I -- no, not at all. Everything's just fine. In fact, I -- just a minute! I'll be right there! I have people over, and I have to run. But, darling, darling, happy, happy, happy holidays. Bye-bye.

Antonio, Antonio and Jessica are with the baby at Nash's place. Jessica takes the baby from Nash. Antonio gives Nash his present. He has gotten a contract so that Nash can get the rest of his buildings completed for the vineyard. Nash finds this is way too much for him to accept. "No. Listen, we -- we insist. And besides, I'm an investor now. So it's in my best interest that this place is up and running as soon as possible," Antonio tells him. Nash humbly accepts the gift. Jessica wants to go and celebrate this new deal to get the buildings completed. "Yeah. Hey, I -- I just happen to have a bottle of my best California champagne. I was -- I was going to give it to you for Christmas. Merry Christmas." Nash gets the wine and now they all have to decide what they will be toasting to. Antonio knows what to ask for…"That we all get what we want in the New Year…"

Cristian and Evangeline hug and share a moment now. She worries that he is upset that she freaked out when she thought that he was giving her a meaningful ring for Christmas. "Are you kidding? I got a girlfriend that gives me everything I want without demanding a ring. It's amazing." They both have hopes of settling down one day but not right now.

Talia relieves the officer watching Spencer's door and sends him home for the holidays. Talia looks in at the patient who seems to be sleeping…only he isn't. After the officer leaves the room, Spence opens his eyes and through gritted teeth his says, "Oh, don't worry, Spence. Christmas is just coming a little late for you this year, that's all. But old St. Nick -- he still has a couple of gifts waiting for you. Isn't that right, Santa?

Clint is ready to go now. He is the last of Viki's guests. When Clint reaches the door, he sees that there was mistletoe over it and no one noticed. He leans in now and kisses Viki quickly on the lips. They both say 'Merry Christmas', and he leaves.

Dorian turns and is stunned to find Adriana standing behind her. "Merry Christmas mom," she says sheepishly. "Merry Christmas," Dorian says back to her while Rex watches them both.

Natalie gives John the medallion that she bought for him for Christmas. It definitely isn't St. Jude like the medallion John had with him when he crashed. "That's because -- well, you're not a lost cause anymore. It's in honor of St. Donwen. Well, she made a wish to ask god to look kindly on the hopes and dreams of true lovers," Natalie explains. John knows this saint. She is the patron saint of lovers. John hand Natalie a book…a calendar. On one of the pages, john has written, 'Dinner At The Palace'. He has written in an appointment for them to have dinner. He hopes that he is ready when the day comes. They say their 'I love you's' and smile at each other.
