One Life to Live Update Wednesday 10/15/03

Natalie is preoccupied but tries to hide to from Cristian…He has been trying to talk to her about the wedding but her mind is on Las Vegas. He tells her that if she would rather wait he is fine with that, but she would like to go ahead with their plans.

***…David asks Viki to sell him some art from Victor Lord. She won’t sell. She will have nothing to do with the man…

…Bo learns from Max that Gabrielle isn't coming to the benefit as she thought that she would bump into Bo.

Gabrielle is in the diner and she sees River wearing one of Al’s jackets. She freaks out and runs to him, trying to tear the jacket off him.

Dorian tells Carlotta that Adrianna wasn’t safe in Llanview. Carlotta is afraid that someone will find out about her and she will be in danger. Dorian assures her that things are under control as this is a family matter.

Starr is upset that Todd has gone after Blair. Addie is sure that the man is Todd. She thinks that he acts like Todd and lives in Todd’s house, and he even loves Blair like Todd.

John reports to Flynn that he has put the fear of God in Natalie and that she will do as she is told…

…The phone rings and it is Todd returning Flynn’s call. Flynn warns him to get his fiancée off his back. Flynn then hangs up…

…There is a knock at the door. John opens it up and finds Blair standing there. She sees Flynn behind John and she walks towards him. “Why are you lying to me? You are here…”

Roxy is taking care of Kelly’s hair when Marcie’s brother arrives to pick up the keys to his new apartment…

…Roxy leaves to get the keys for him and Kelly and Ron talk. She learns that he is Marcie’s sister. Kelly is sorry to hear about Al.

River fights Gabrielle off and explains who he is. She is so sorry for her outburst and attack. River is sorry that he had accepted the jacket now. She wants him to keep it. She couldn’t take it back. Al was a really great guy. An idol. The things that they said about Al were all true. Gabrielle starts crying now. River tells her goodbye and leaves. She has the jacket as he had left it and she hugs it to her.

Gabrielle has put a wall between herself and Bo and Max is sorry for that. Gabrielle can barely look at Bo now. Bo has to respect her space and stop her from pulling back any further. Max doesn’t think that she should be alone right now…

…Natalie thinks that she just has some pre-wedding jitters. She will marry Cris any time, anywhere.

Blair demands to know what is going on with ‘Walker’ and why he is here instead of in Llanview. Here he is in Las Vegas picking up where he left off in Llanview she guesses. Blair remembers seeing John in Llanview too. John denies that they have ever met, but she knows better. She is not stupid or blind. Blair thought that this was all apart of his past. She would like an explanation. He answers the phone here and then at the same time he is at the airport and she would like to have an explanation. John excuses himself…

…Blair wants to know which redhead John was talking about. Flynn doesn’t need this. Blair tells him that the engagement is off. He is fine with that as the engagement has never been on. She tells him that he’s a stranger. This is only the second time that he has ever laid eyes on her.

Dorian assures Carlotta that everything is going to be alright. Antonio is free and there is more to come. Cristian too is going to marry the woman that he loves…

…River enters figuring that he would find Carlotta here. He knows that the ladies have been conspiring to keep his love from him. Dorian ushers Carlotta out quickly…

…River tells Dorian that he is going to Puerto Rico. Dorian tells him that she isn’t in Puerto Rico. She loves the boy with all of her heart but she has to do this because she loves the boy. He tries to walk past her but she tells him that finding Adrianna would put both of them in danger.

Gabrielle is at the diner hugging Al’s coat…

…Bo enters and joins Gabrielle. She crying and alone sitting at a booth, He knows that Max invited her to the benefit but he would like her to come with him and dance for a bit. She couldn’t do it. She doesn't know what to say to him. He would like to go somewhere with her and be alone. He knows how this feels and he maybe able to help her if she would only let him. She can’t do that. She has to go. She leaves him there.

Starr tells her grandma that she can’t call Walker Todd anymore, as that is crazy. Addie tells her that she shouldn’t use the word ‘crazy’. The correct term is “mentally challenged”. Doesn’t matter to Starr. She is trying to make a point here. Walker doesn’t look like Todd and Starr is sure that her grandma will spoil everything. She makes her grandma prove her love to her by having her promise that she isn’t going to call Walker, Todd. Addie makes the promise.

Flynn tells Blair that this is only the 2nd time that they have met. He wouldn’t get involved with a high-maintenance person like her. She sees that something is different about him. He isn’t like the man that she is going to marry. She feels like she is hallucinating all this. He tells her that he isn’t. She demands to know what is going on…

…Flynn nods to the door and Blair turns to find Walker standing at the open doorway. Blair turns her head back and forth in horror. What dose this mean?

Natalie tells her mother that she plans to have a simple dinner after her wedding. She wishes to have her father there. Viki tells her that her father can’t make it. Natalie isn’t all that disappointed…then again she is. Everyone else will be there though. Natalie is going off to make more plans for her wedding…

…Lindsay shows up at the benefit and David greets her. They are going to generate some serious publicity…

…Governor Brooks arrives at the benefit and Viki is there to greet him. She looks exquisite. They are in the lobby and she would like to go upstairs and later they will go dancing. He would like to dance with her now. He takes her hand in his and she smiles into his eyes.

Max comes into the diner to check on Gabrielle, but she isn’t there. Bo is there though and he tells how Gabrielle took off in a hurry, not allowing him to help her with her problems. She had Al’s jacket and she split as fast as she could. She was crying too. Bo is worried about her state. She is not able to control her grief. Max is sorry for him. Bo will go back to the benefit now and make an appearance.

Dorian tells River that she was exaggerating about Adrianna being in danger. She only meant that he and Adrianna might make a mistake that they will both regret. Dorian says that if he feels that same way a year from now she will help him but she can’t help him now. Someday he will understand why he can’t see her. She offers him a good time out and she invites him to escort her to the benefit. River isn’t going anywhere with her ever. He storms out of the room.

Roxy returns to give Marcie’s brother his keys for the apartment. He has had a nice chat with Kelly. He is glad that he met Kelly and he leaves soon after…

…As he leaves all the women in the salon get up to look at the man’s backside. “Woo hoo!” Kelly relaxes back in her chair. Kelly is alone in town, as Kevin is in Harrisburg.

…Looks like the cat is out of the bag now. Flynn starts explaining the truth thinking that there is nothing more that Todd can do to save the situation, but Todd jumps in. He says that Flynn is his twin brother. He tells Blair that his whole past wasn’t lies, but it was just that he wasn’t talking about himself, but about Flynn instead. This makes no sense to Blair. Todd explains that Flynn has enemies and he didn’t want Blair jeopardizing that and causing more trouble for them. The look-alikes tell Blair that they were lying to her to protect her from danger. Todd was ashamed of his ‘twin’, he says. He supposedly made a promise to himself that he would never let the cat out of the bag and so he lied to Blair. Flynn tells Blair that everything that she has heard is true. He should have trusted her but he didn’t. Todd would still like to marry her, but she doesn’t answer yet. She is sorry that this all happened that that her fiancée has been brought into this life. Todd and Blair start leaving but Flynn calls Todd back and makes him give a hug. Flynn whispers to the man that this is going to cost him, “Oh…This is going to cost you…”

David has names for the gallery, but they fight for a minute over the name of the gallery. She would like her name first as she is the one that made the gallery what it is. She is very excited and happy to focus on work. She feels like a normal person. She feels like her life is starting again…

…Viki is dancing with the good governor. He leads and she follows…

…Dorian sees Viki dancing with Governor Brooks and that makes her stop and stare for a moment…

River isn't going to Puerto Rico anymore. He returns the money that Roxy and Nigel gave him. She offers him a haircut but he doesn't want it. She would like him to come with her and her friend to hang out and have some fun. River agrees to the date.

Gabrielle is alone in Al’s room hugging Al’s things. Max finds her alone and he reveals that he heard from Bo about the jacket. Max knew that she would be here. This is her son’s life. This is her little boy’s life in boxes. All the things are out by Friday as another student will be moving in. Traces of Al will be gone. The traces that matter will not be gone. She can’t stop thinking about him and she can’t let go. Max tells her that she can’t let go. She is losing her lifeline and she is going to fall and she won’t stop. Max offers to let her hold on to him and he will not let her fall.

Dorian continues to watch Viki and Governor Brooks…

…Kelly arrives and finds Dorian staring off into space. What is wrong? Dorian points out Queen Viki. Dorian finds her tasteless and classless. Her husband is in a coma and she is gallivanting. And what about David taking advantage of Lindsay who has come out of a mental institution. He must be taking advantage.

Flynn knows that eh shouldn’t ever have gotten involved with that idiot and Blair is smart. Their whole plan could go sky high. You should never sell your face, even for money. John tells Flynn that he has Natalie, and he would like Flynn’s word that Natalie doesn’t get hurt. That seems to depend on whether or not Natalie does what she should. John seems to have a thing for Natalie but he denies it.

Cristian talks to Carlotta as Natalie stands by…

…Natalie thinks back to a conversation she had with John where he threatened her, telling her that she will do everything he tells her or she will get hurt…

…Cristian hustles Natalie out of her dream and walks her out of the diner.

Todd and Blair return to the penthouse and everyone shouts surprise. Blair finds her mother there and she is so glad. Addie is walking again. This is great. She has everything that she wants. Addie is jumping up and down and she turns to Starr promising out loud that she will never, ever say again that Walker is Todd. Blair hears that and wonders why her mother would say such a thing.
