One Life to Live Update Monday 10/6/03

Antonio learns that he has been charged with capital murder. Daniel is pleased as punch to deliver the news to Antonio. Jessica arrives in time to tell everyone who can that Antonio is innocent and that she has proof. Daniel looks over at her sceptically.

Lindsay comes to Rex at his job, and apologizes for what happened the other night. She acted awkwardly over the man coming on to her. Lindsay saw that she was out of practice with men and needs to get out more. Rex is right that Lindsay needs to meet new people. He is glad that she isn’t holding anything against her for acting the way that she did. David shows up and wants to hang out with Lindsay at the bar, but Rex doesn’t like that and tells him that they are not set up for people just now. When the two decide to leave, Rex offers to serve them quickly...

…David is interested in Lindsay’s gallery but right now, he is more interested in her.

Kelly has been trying to find a baby to adopt for her husband, but she really wanted to have her own, every woman wants to do that. Joey knows that she is going to love the child that she gets when they find him or her. She can’t have a child, as that is too dangerous, so that is out of the question. Joey reminds her that he and Kevin were adopted and they are okay and had wonderful lives with their parents. When asked if he is going to have kids someday, Joey tells her that he is definitely going to have a big family.

Jen is alone and has just taken a pregnancy test. She looks to the sky…

Kevin and Asa talk about business and how Kevin should run his. Kevin would like to make his own decisions, but Asa reminds him that they have been waiting for him to be in this political position all his life and that he has to do what is right and what is expected of him. Asa wants Kevin to get into position so that Walker doesn’t take anything from them with his antics. Kevin isn't worried about Walker.

Walker shows Blair their marriage license. She can’t believe this! This is really happening! Blair is happy and she loves the ring in the little black velvet box that he hands her. Walker calls for Starr as he has got to get Blair while she is hot. They have everything now to get married. Walker would like to get going and get married today. Blair looks up at him stunned. She knew that it was going to happen, but now?

Nigel and Roxy go have some refreshments in René’s bar, but Nigel has something to hide and he quickly picks up the cards, so Roxy isn’t quick to learn his secret.

Kelly finds Kevin talking with Asa, but she just stops by for a moment to say “Hi!” and then she leaves. Asa knows that she is a good woman. Blair on the other hand is a bad woman. She could drag a man through hell with his boots off.

Walker wants to get married now. Starr stands by and listens. Blair doesn’t want to be railroaded into marriage like Todd would have done. She loved Todd and he loved her but he never did anything wrong. Walker loves her now and they have that in common and he can’t help that. She would like to marry him and they decided that they were going to keep things small. She feels crazy but she thinks that they should do it. Starr can’t believe her ears. Walker leaves to get dressed…

…Blair can’t believe this. She calls for Starr but Starr is already there. She knows what her mother should wear and how she should wear her hair. Blair is happy and she shouts out, hugging her daughter. They have to get dressed and they hurry up the stairs.

Walker goes to Joey asking him to marry he and Blair. Joey will not do it. He likes to talk to the couple before marrying them. Walker offers him a gift for the wedding happening now. The big rush is because things can change at any moment. Walker loves Blair and he would like to spend the rest of his life with Blair. Joey isn’t comfortable with this. Joey should be as he married Jen just as fast. Joey has no regrets about his marriage.

Jen finds her mother talking to David. She is introduced to him. Her class was cancelled and she came over to get a donation for the church. Jen goes off looking for Rex…

…David thinks that Jen is as good looking as her mother…

…Jen finds Rex and stays awhile. She needed to get out of the house. He offers he a drink but she only wants soda. He notices that she isn’t drinking. He can see that she is moody, nauseous and unable to drink. He thinks that maybe she is pregnant. As soon as the words leave his lips, he realizes what he has discovered. She can’t bother to hide it…

…Jen is going to have the baby and she hasn’t told her husband yet. He finds it funny that she has come to him first. She doesn’t seem all that thrilled to be having Joey’s baby. Rex thought that this was what she wanted. She isn’t all that thrilled by the way that Rex is describing the way her life is going to be in the future. The truth is that kids change everything. For the next 18 years she is going to be busy. He knows that she always comes to him when she is upset. He knows that he can help her.

Nigel and Roxy are playing cards out on the patio of René’s restaurant, and having drinks and it seems that Nigel is a person that can read cards. Roxy thinks that they should hit the Black Jack table one night. A tango comes on and they rise to the occasion. The dance is passionate, if you like that sort of thing. They end up kissing…

…René learns that Asa is trying to help Kevin get his life together…

…Kevin’s assistant arrives with information and he pays the woman and tells her that he doesn’t need her anymore. What Kevin has to do now, is something that he needs to do for himself.

Kelly arrives and finds that Blair is going to get married…

…Joey and Walker arrive and that is when the argument ensues. Joey still isn’t sure that he should marry Walker and Blair but Walker is sure and demands that it be done right now.

Jessica brings the witness into the police station Daniel and Antonio to talk to him. Bernie speaks in poetic verses. He had spoken to Keri and she told Bernie “death was nigh”. What does that mean? Keri wasn’t afraid of Bernie at the time. There was a note, but RJ took it. He refers to the man as “Othello”. “Oh villain! Villain…” Jessica presses the man further…Daniel asks what the man was doing that night. He was cold and he fell asleep outside. Bernie was there the time of the 911 call. Bernie knows who else was there. He nods his head to prove that he has something to say.

Kelly knows that Blair will be happy with Walker, as long as he is not like Todd. Starr is quick to defend her father. Starr can’t see what the big deal is about. The priest wants to know if they have spoken about children. Blair has children but Walker has none. Starr has decorated the whole living room and wants to get on with it. Blair hasn’t had anytime to make any plans. That is what Joey has been worried about. Marriage is a huge decision and shouldn’t be rushed into. Kelly wants to make sure that they have a common goal. Joey can’t do it today. Walker is fine with that. They will just have to go to a Justice of the Peace. Blair is losing her gumption. “Maybe Joey is right”.

Kevin calls Blair after having heard that she is going to marry Walker. Kevin leaves a message for her to call him back…

…Asa gets a call from Sarah. Asa hired a producer and the 2 are making a video…

…Nigel and Roxy laugh when they think about what they have done, dancing out on the patio and kissing. There was no passion or chemistry for either of them. It must have been the hypnotism. They are going to be bosom buddies and nothing else…

…Asa finds Nigel with Roxy and orders him to come along as they have important things to do. After Nigel leaves, Roxy waves the heat from her face…

…René talks to Kevin saying that Asa knows what he is talking about when it comes to business and politics.

Blair knows that if she got married without Dorian, she would be furious. Blair is glad that her daughter likes Walker, but there are things that they have to talk about. They have no idea where they are going to live. Walker and Starr would like to live at the penthouse. Blair would like Starr to leave, but Walker wants her to stay. Blair feels pressured and she doesn’t like that. Todd did that and he had secrets. Walker assures her that he has no secrets. Blair needs 2 weeks to think on this. Joey is fine with this. If they come to counselling and everything seems okay, he will do the wedding. Walker leaves, as he has to prepare the perfect wedding…

…Blair has never been surer of anything in her life…

…Starr is with her father outside the house hugging him as they are both going to get everything that they want now. She happily goes running back into the house. Todd looks down to the floor. “A lot can happen in 2 weeks…”

…Starr runs off to change her clothes…Kelly can see that Starr really loves Walker. Lucky Blair. Kelly doesn’t get along with Duke, not the way that Walker gets along with Starr. Kelly is really looking forward to having a child of her own. They are both going to get everything that they want in life. Kelly tries to warn Blair about marriage and what can go wrong. Blair sees more in what Kelly is saying. Kelly is happy for her.

René is worried about Asa’s heart but she knows that the man is as sharp as a tack when it comes to business…

…Walker comes to see René and asks that he be able to book a room to have a wedding. Kevin takes a hefty drink. René runs off to check what is available. Walker sits with Kevin and tries to show off about his getting Blair. Kevin knows that the man isn’t who he says that he is. His marriage is going to crash and burn.

Jen didn’t mean to tell Rex the news about her baby. Rex thinks that she is doing the wrong thing. She can't believe that he said that. She thinks that she would make a horrible mother. She can’t talk anymore. She calls out to her mother, saying goodbye.

David tells Lindsay that he needs her gallery to help a guy sell 6 pieces. Lindsay knows that it has been stressful on her own. If he has the money, then maybe she does need a partner. They agree to agree.

Bernie is being queried. What did the man look like that was around Keri that night? Daniel wants to make sure that Bernie really saw someone that night. Was it Antonio? Bernie nods his head one good time, “YES!” Antonio has nothing more to say now. The witness is going to be the death of him.

Antonio asks the man about what he was saying. They all learn that Antonio had gone to Atlantic City. Antonio’s lawyer warns him that he had better not say another word. It is too late. Antonio is going to be locked up until trial…

…Jessica tells Antonio that he will not be locked up for long. She knows that RJ is hiding something and she is going to find out what that is.

Jen hears Joey counselling a woman on her inability to have a child, and her fears about having the child. Jen runs from the area…

…Joey tells the woman not to worry, as her time will come…

Jen picks up the phone and dials a number that she finds. She listens to the ringing and then she hangs up abruptly.

Lindsay and David discuss being partners and some of the art that will be coming their way. They can make a lot of commission on this. David would like to take her out that night but first she is going to make a call and get her lawyer working on their contracts together…

…She runs off to make her call and Rex comes over to warn David that he better not be messing with Lindsay. He is a good friend of hers and he knows that David is a little oily and greasy. Lindsay returns and off she goes with David…all smiles…

Kelly tells Walker that she hopes that he will be making Blair very happy. Walker assures her that he is going to do just that.

Blair hears the message from Kevin and he then appears at her door. He has a file folder and he holds it out to her. “Congratulations! I have an early wedding gift” She takes the folder wondering what in the world could be in there.
