Bo Doesn’t Buy the Lindsey Murder Theory:
Nora, Daniel, Antonio, and Bo look at the final autopsy report to find that it was not the arsenic that killed Mitch, but a fatal blow to the head! Daniel argues with Bo about not screwing up the Mitch Lawrence murder case when Nora comes to Bo’s defense but is shot down by Daniel’s insults. Bo then expresses his desire to continue the search for Mitch’s murder and investigate suspects other than Lindsey.
Jessica Demands Answers from Walker:
Kevin stops Jessica on her way to see Walker. He advises her that she should get past her regrets about Mitch and asks her to come and do a summer internship at The Banner to get her mind off things. Jessica doges Kevin concerns by bringing up his failing relationship with his wife, Kelly. She then promises to think his offer over and leaves to see Walker at Todd’s penthouse.
Starr Makes Plans for Walker:
Starr vows to Hetti to takes care of Walker and get rid of him since Todd is not around to do it. In her spare time she continues to help Matthew scheme to get Bo and Nora together. Matthew expresses his concern of having to lie to his mother and tells Starr that he does not want to be apart of her plans anymore. Gabrielle then drops by The Palace in search for Bo and Matthew for the baseball game when Starr sees this as a perfect chance to continue her plan to break Bo and Gabrielle up. Starr throws in Gabrielle’s face that Bo decided to invite Nora to the game and left without her. Starr continues to coax Gabrielle into leaving Bo alone and moving on to greener pasture…with Walker! Blair interrupts her daughter’s cupid session with Gabrielle and warns her not to interfere in other peoples lives. After getting an earful from Starr, Gabrielle runs to the police station to confront Bo about standing her up. Bo is called away on business when Nora some in and Gabrielle asks how Nora could have betrayed her. Nora then tells Gabrielle that it is her own fault that her and Bo are having problems bringing up Gabrielle’s dinner at The Palace with Troy. Blair demands that Hetti take Starr home for punishment but Starr has other plans. She forces Hetti to take her to Todd’s Penthouse. At her dad’s desk she finds the Lord ring that Todd was last seen wearing and when Walker returns to the penthouse she confronts him about having the ring.
Walker confronts Blair:
After finalizing the lease agreement at Todd’s Penthouse Walker tells Blair that Starr fired him from the Sun. Walker is understanding about the situation and blames her recent out lash on missing Todd. Blair explains to Walkers that Starr thinks Todd is coming back home but Blair has loss faith. Walker toys with the idea of a romantic relationship with him and Blair but Blair contests that she is not interested in Walker whatsoever because of her loss with Todd. She admits to not wanting a relationship with anyone right now and is not comfortable with some of Walker’s recent life choices. Walker then gets a phone call from Evangeline to meet her at The Palace to discuss the settlement of Mitch’s estate. Before leaving Blair to The Palace, Walker gets a set of keys from a hidden vase that only Todd could possibly know about and a shocked Blair immediately questions him about it. He escapes the accusation by telling Blair that he checked the entire penthouse when he first moved in to know where everything was. Blair naively accepts his excuse when Jessica stops by for Walker. Blair, surprised to see Jessica, is fed another lie by Walker explaining that Jessica came by to discuss the finalization of Mitch’s estate. After Blair leaves Jessica confronts Walker about not wanting to her to say anything about Lindsey killing Mitch at his funeral. Walker covers by telling Jessica that he is only trying to protect her. Jessica admits that she does not completely remember everything that happened on the docks with Mitch and asks Walker to fill in the holes. Walker has a flashback to the night on the docks when Mitch kills the guard that Walker paid to break him out of jail. Mitch then confronted Walker on his motifs for helping him break out of jail when Walker snaps back to reality as Jessica asks him what REALLY happened that night on the docks. Walker then heads over to The Palace to meet Evangeline to find out that Mitch has left his entire estate to him. Walker inquires about the Boudrais Diamond but is told that it is evidence and will not be handed over to him. Evangeline gives Walker a safe deposit key that was left with Mitch’s personal items at the police station and Walker leaves immediately to check it out. He finds various property deeds and cash.
Kevin Apologizes to Blair:
After running into each other at The Palace, Kevin shows Blair that he has retracted the accusations of her being a murder in The Banner. Blair thanks him but knows that there is more to his apology. When asked to come clean about his motifs, Kevin asks Blair to sell The Sun to him. Kevin asks Blair to a dance and she agrees thanks to his manly charm. The two decide to make a bet about who can sell the most newspapers in a single day. If Kevin with The Banner wins, Blair has to seriously consider selling The Sun her him. If Blair with The Sun wins, Kevin has to seriously tell her what’s going on with him and Kelly. Kevin then makes a phone call to his people at The Banner and demands that they sell an extra 5,000 copies on the streets to insure his victory.
Antonio Takes a Risk:
After finding out that Mitch was not killed by the arsenic at the crime scene he goes to visit Jessica to tell her the news. Jessica is horrified to hear the new discovery about Mitch and is pressured by Antonio to tell him EVERYTHING she remembers about the night on the docks. Under pressure Jessica finally breaks and confesses to Antonio that she was the one who killed her father!
