Sami’s apartment:

Sami and Lucas are kissing passionately as Lucas carries Sami toward the bedroom. Sami stops him right outside the bedroom door and makes him say what he wants.

Shawn’s apartment:

Willow arrives home and tells Shawn that she’ll stow her stuff on the top shelf in the closet so no one will see it. Willow also gives Shawn a baby monitor as a housewarming gift. Shawn doesn’t understand why he needs it since Belle won’t let Claire spend the night at his place yet but Willow believes Belle will be touched that Shawn thought ahead about Claire’s well being. Willow also adds that the monitor can be used as an early warning system for them because she’ll be able to hear if Belle is coming near where she is hiding in the bedroom.

Diner:

Frankie brings Bo and John the falsified papers they need to pretend to be Mr. Avery and Mr. Fuller, executors of EJ’s estate. Frankie is worried that despite the bank being on the edge of town, the cameras could still catch Bo and John’s faces. John assures Frankie that they’ll cut the security cameras before ever going in. Frankie is motivated to join this illegal plan because of what EJ did to Kayla. Bo assures Frankie that EJ and Patrick will get justice.

Police station:

EJ comes storming into Abe’s office and lays all the surveillance equipment onto his desk. Abe tries to refer him to the desk sergeant to file a report of his “suspicions” but EJ won’t budge. EJ declares plans to sue the department.

Abe plays dumb about having bugged EJ’s apartment. EJ doesn’t believe him and fingers Bo as the mastermind behind the surveillance. EJ brings up John being involved and Abe truthfully states that John isn’t a member of the police force. EJ questions whether John is aware of that because of his portrayal as an undercover agent. Abe tries to refer EJ back to the desk sergeant and EJ gathers up the evidence as he threatens to contact the assistant district attorney. Abe calls EJ’s bluff because he wants to be able to put EJ on the witness stand.

Chez Rouge:

Tek, slurring his words from being so obviously drunk, offers to buy Lexie a drink. Lexie notes that Tek has already had a few drinks and warns him that by violating the restraining order, he could lose his job. Tek is grateful that someone finally realized that losing his job is what he wants.

Shawn’s apartment:

Willow asks for Shawn’s permission to take a shower and Shawn assures her that she didn’t have to ask. Willow heads into the bathroom. Hope jokingly pretends to be the police and bangs on Shawn’s door. Shawn opens the door and is relieved to see his mom there instead. Hope is impressed with Shawn’s new place and Shawn tries to quickly get rid of her claiming he was about to hop in the shower. Hope agrees to be quick with her reason for coming by and tells Shawn about letting Bo move back in. Hope tells Shawn that while he and Bo have fences to mend of their own, she would like them to be a family again.

Sami’s apartment:

Lucas and Sami have returned to kissing. Lucas playfully answers Sami’s question by saying that what he wants is to make love to her all night long. They resume kissing but Sami pushes Lucas away. Lucas won’t leave Sami’s side and it makes Sami too flustered to think. Lucas doesn’t want to take the time to think. Lucas kisses Sami again but she pulls away insisting that when they don’t think first, they get into trouble. Lucas persists and Sami starts to object about making love with no strings attached but is too caught in the moment to turn it down. Sami starts to unbuckle Lucas’ belt but then stops herself insisting that they have to talk about their feelings first and that has to happen while their clothes are still on. Lucas groans and zips up his pants.

Chez Rouge:

Lexie tries to talk Tek out of wanting to lose his job and suggests he go home and sleep off the drinking binge. Tek refuses to leave. Lexie calls for a waiter and Tek complains that Lexie got to return to her good life while Abe humiliates him at work everyday.

Police station:

EJ wants to know what evidence Abe has on him but Abe will only say that EJ has a 50/50 chance of being convicted. EJ claims Abe is bluffing and Abe calls EJ on having no real evidence that it was his police force that bugged EJ’s apartment. Abe mentions having an explosive file on EJ and EJ wants to know the contents of the file. Abe asks EJ to sit so they can talk about the Dimera family. EJ claims to have no knowledge of the Dimera family so Abe tells him to go to the district attorney then but be prepared to lose.

Bank:

Bo and John, each wearing disguises, watch as a security guard drills his way into EJ’s safety deposit box. The guard steps aside so that Bo can pull out the box. Bo and John are about to open the box when a bank employee stops them because she’s found a problem with their documents.

Shawn’s apartment:

Shawn asks Hope where she stands with Patrick. Hope insists that Patrick is only involved as the father of the baby. Hope is telling Shawn about granting Bo’s request for another chance but is interrupted when Willow opens the bathroom door clad in just a towel. Willow introduces herself to Hope and then rushes into the bedroom to get dressed. Hope is now furious with Shawn and accuses him of going back on his claim of being a responsible father.

Chez Rouge:

Lexie insists that her life isn’t easy either and tells Tek to leave her alone. Tek walks toward Lexie intent on kissing her and Lexie slaps him yelling loudly for him to stop. The bartender witnesses this and uses his cell phone to call for a police officer to come to the restaurant.

Police station:

EJ insists that he’s done nothing wrong so the police must be trying to set him up. A uniformed officer interrupts to ask to speak to Abe. Abe leaves EJ alone in the office to go talk with the officer. EJ uses the opportunity to sift through the papers on Abe’s desk and discovers a file containing his safety deposit box information.

Bank:

Miss Post explains that the death certificate is unsigned and shows it to John. Miss Post calls for the security guard, Mr. Jackson, to put away the box. John stops him and calls Miss Post on the loose and unsecured way the bank is being run citing examples of documents and checks being left out in plain sight. Bo writes on a pad but allows John to do all the talking. John threatens to report the bad practices of the bank if Miss Post doesn’t allow the absence of a signature to slide and let them do what they came to do. John takes Miss Post’s hand off the box.

Sami’s apartment:

Lucas is desperate to say whatever Sami wants to hear so they can make love. Sami jokes that Lucas usually has loads to say but now can’t think of anything. Lucas tells Sami that he wants to make love to her and is willing to do so on the floor if necessary. Sami wants to hear more of the “why” rather than just what and where.

Shawn’s apartment:

Shawn insists that Willow is not living with him. Hope considers seeing Willow using Shawn’s shower as proof that she is living here so Shawn rephrases his defense to say that Willow is only staying until she can save up for her own place. Hope doesn’t believe that Willow would be motivated to find her own place when she has Shawn’s place to stay. Hope asks if Belle knows and Shawn admits that she doesn’t. Shawn insists that he’s helping Willow out the same way she helped him out and asks Hope not to tell Belle. Hope is still angry so Shawn asks for some credit since he did get a new job and is paying child support. Hope insists that Shawn’s duty is to Claire and Belle. Shawn turns the tables and asks if Hope’s duty then is to her baby and to Patrick. Shawn tells Hope to clean up her own mess of a life and stay out of his life. Without saying a word, Hope grabs her things and leaves.

Chez Rouge:

Patrons are beginning to gather and stare as Lexie tells Tek that she is ashamed of what they did and that he should leave. Tek objects and Lexie orders him to leave. Tek laughs it off. Lexie tries to leave herself but Tek stops her. Lexie yells at him to let go of her and Abe rushes in to push Tek away. Tek vows that he’ll get more of what he wants but Abe yells at him to go home and sleep it off for they will talk tomorrow. Tek doesn’t want to face that and tells Abe to feel free to fire him.

Bank:

Miss Post voices her objections but John stands firm. Miss Post leads John and Bo into a private room for viewing the box’s contents and then she and the security guard leaves them alone. Bo and John don their own black leather gloves as they go through the contents. Inside they find a bunch of envelopes addressed to EJ here in Salem with an Italian postmark. Inside the envelopes they find Italian tarot cards. They decide that even though they can’t go through every single card while there, they won’t be taking them home to sort through. John is confident after finding the jester and high priestess cards that they are going to get everything they need.

Sami’s apartment:

Sami and Lucas continue to kiss as Lucas tries to convince Sami to sleep with him. Sami pinches Lucas’ butt to stop him. Sami doesn’t want to get hurt far worse than a pinch again. Sami starts to cry as she talks about having no place for her feelings but Lucas insists that Sami has him to lean on for more than just sex. Sami points out that Lucas has walked out on her when she didn’t live up to his ideal. Sami asks Lucas if he feels anything for her that doesn’t involve his lower anatomy.

Bank:

John pulls out a tiny camera and Bo lines up the cards for John to take pictures.

A bank employee leads EJ to the vault but finds his safety deposit box missing. He asks the employee and the employee leaves to get the bank manager.

Chez Rouge:

Tek calls for everyone’s attention as he baits Abe to fire him. Abe, growing angrier, tries to quiet Tek but Tek persists. Tek starts to badmouth Abe and Lexie to the crowd so Abe punches Tek and he falls to the floor. The bartender tries to help Tek up but Tek pushes him off. Abe tosses Tek’s jacket on top of him and after telling the bartender to call Tek a cab, declares Tek to be fired. Tek acts pleased with the result and sarcastically claps for Abe’s handling of the situation as he is led out of the restaurant. Abe asks Lexie if she is all right and suggests heading home. Lexie insists on staying because Hope asked to meet her here. Abe agrees to leave without Lexie and mentions heading back to the station to start the process of firing Tek. Lexie asks Abe not to arrest Tek but to simply wash their hands of him.

Sami’s apartment:

Lucas is angry about being put on the spot. Sami takes off her outer shirt and baits Lucas to make love. Lucas now is no longer in the mood. Sami admits to having strong feelings for Lucas and also admits to being scared. Lucas helps Sami put her shirt back on and reminds her that other people had a hand in ruining their relationship in the past. Lucas agrees to try and give their relationship another chance. Sami cries tears of relief but still turns down Lucas’ renewed attempts at lovemaking. Sami laughs at Lucas’ disappointed expression but he obliges Sami’s desire to take things slow and work on a real relationship.

Shawn’s apartment:

Willow, now clothed, apologizes to Shawn for letting Hope see her. Shawn is sure Hope won’t tell Belle but knows that Hope will give him flak about it whenever she sees him so he plans to avoid her. Shawn complains that too many people are hindering his plans and the things he can do with his life. Willow tells Shawn to take his life back.

Chez Rouge:

Hope finally arrives to meet Lexie and Lexie tells her about the altercation with Tek. Lexie complains that her reputation is so ruined that no medical establishment within twenty miles will hire her. Hope declares that she has found Lexie a job.

Bank:

Miss Post, the bank manager, returns to the vault with the security guard and the earlier employee. EJ tells Miss Post about his box missing and Miss Post refuses to believe that he really is EJ because she believes EJ to be dead. EJ angrily tells Miss Post to find the box fast and Miss Post escorts EJ into the private room where she left Bo and John. Once at the door, EJ pushes past her and enters the now empty room. EJ finds his safety deposit box left on the table with the cards back in the envelopes.

Police station:

John and Bo have returned to the station sans disguise and fill Frankie in on the undercover operation. Abe returns to the office and simply declares that he had to fire Tek before changing the subject to the undercover operation. Bo and John show Abe and Frankie the pictures of the tarot cards. When they mention the envelopes being postmarked from Italy, Abe notes that the Dimera family is from Italy. Abe knows exactly who to call to translate the tarot cards.

Sami’s apartment:

Lucas and Sami kiss but Sami insists that they can’t make love right now. Lucas agrees that Will deserves them trying to make things right. They kiss again and Lucas has to go take a cold shower. Sami falls back onto the couch with a smile.

Shawn’s apartment:

Willow suggests that Shawn do something that would make only him happy and Shawn mentions his desire for a new sports car. Shawn starts to object but Willow urges him to go for it since he has the money. Willow offers to call home before leaving work to make sure Belle isn’t there. Shawn thanks her and kisses her goodbye. Willow leaves. Shawn pulls an envelope containing loads of cash off the back of a desk drawer.

Chez Rouge:

Hope offers Lexie the job of being Kayla’s private nurse. Lexie doesn’t think the Brady family would want her taking care of their daughter but Hope insists that the family already approved it. Lexie accepts the job and is grateful to Hope for thinking of her. Hope and Lexie clink their glasses and toast to new beginnings.

Bank:

Miss Post confirms that all of EJ’s possessions are still in the box. EJ notices that the contents have been gone through.

Police station:

Abe calls Celeste after explaining to Frankie that he’s calling his mother in law who happens to read tarot cards.

Bank:

Miss Post tries to placate EJ as she slowly backs out of the private room. Miss Post assures EJ that the security cameras would have gotten pictures of whomever went through EJ’s box but EJ rudely tells Miss Post that she couldn’t have gotten this job on her own merit when the obviously smarter people who took the box would have thought to turn off the cameras. EJ slams the door in their faces leaving himself alone in the private room. EJ slams the box shut and fumes.
