Kate follows Sami to the police station and confronts her when she finds Sami
using Roman’s computer.
Lucas asks Roman for Sami’s hand in marriage but Roman says no.
Hope stops by to check with Patrick on Chelsea’s whereabouts since Bo didn’t come home last night. Patrick informs her that neither Billie nor Chelsea came home either.
Bo and Billie stop by Jennifer’s house and Bo uses their phone to call and leave
a message for Hope explaining that his cell phone battery died and that he had
yet to find Chelsea. Jennifer and Jack explain that they’ve been helping Abby
call all her friends and none of them have heard from Chelsea. Frankie walks up
with the declaration that he knows how to track down Max. Frankie walks off to
work on his idea.
Max wakes Chelsea by running a small flower bud across her nose and delivers the surprise of breakfast in bed that he has gathered from the motel vending machine and the fields around the place. Max breaks the news to Chelsea that last night was not a dream and Chelsea begs him to run away with her.
Hope and Patrick talk about Chelsea and her manipulative ways and how Bo thinks so lowly of Patrick.
Jennifer shares her worries about how Hope is dealing with the news to Bo while
Jack offers words of encouragement to Billie. Frankie returns with the
explanation that he has put out a watch for any use of Max’s credit card but
hasn’t heard anything back yet. Bo fumes at the thought that Max could have
taken advantage of Chelsea.
Max refuses to help Chelsea run away, insisting that she should stay and face things. Chelsea still refuses to believe that Bo and Billie are her parents. Chelsea delights in the idea of driving Bo and Billie crazy and seduces Max.
Frankie receives the call informing him that Max used his card at the motel and Bo and Billie rush off to the motel as Bo asks Jennifer to relay the news to Hope.
Patrick insists that Hope relieve her stress at not having been able to reach Bo
by borrowing one of Billie’s bathing suits and joining him for a swim.
Sami insists to Kate that she’s using the computer for wedding plans with Roman’s permission and threatens to tell Roman and Lucas that Kate was spying on her.
Roman criticizes Lucas for not trusting Sami before and hurting her. Lucas admits he was wrong for not trusting Sami in the first place and promises to do right by Sami if he can get Roman’s blessing.
Sami gloats about how she’s sure Roman and Marlena will get back together but her confidence is dashed when Kate vaguely mentions that she talked with Tony and knows all about Sami’s disguise. Kate uses air quotes as she says “disguise” to appear as if she knows more than she really does.
Roman confirms that Lucas is serious about trusting Sami and making her happy
before he gladly gives his permission and his blessing. Roman welcomes Lucas to
the family with a hug. Will joins them and they joke about how Will is growing
so tall he might grow out of his suit by the wedding.
Sami realizes that Kate doesn’t know the whole truth because she hasn’t already blabbed the news to everyone and denies that Tony has anything on her. Kate threatens to tell Lucas and Roman but Sami insists that they won’t believe her. Kate vows to stop the wedding and Lucas, Will, and Roman walk in as Sami threatens to tell Lucas of Kate’s plot.
Patrick fantasizes about Hope coming back out and stripping for him. Hope comes back out for real, dressed in Jennifer’s bathing suit, just as Jennifer, Jack, and Frankie walk up with the news about Chelsea and Max. Jennifer tries to talk Hope into joining Bo and Billie at the motel.
Max stops the lovemaking and to try and placate Chelsea, suggests that she go
take a shower. While Chelsea is in the shower, Bo and Billie knock on the door
and push Max out of the way when he opens it. Bo spots the unmade bed and Max
re-fastening his belt and accuses Max of taking advantage of Chelsea. Bo pins
Max’s arm behind his back and grabs him in a headlock before throwing Max
against the bed. Max slides down to the floor holding his hand up in protest as
Bo towers over him. Billie tries to calm Bo.
Hope insists that while she is a little jealous, she trusts Bo and must let him and Billie handle this. Jennifer commends Hope on her maturity but is shocked when Hope notes how accepting Jack seems to be at having Frankie around.
Patrick criticizes Max to Frankie and Jack sticks up for Max by criticizing Patrick for using women since he was just about to hop in the pool with Hope.
Jennifer insists that she loves Jack and wouldn’t cheat on him but Hope suggests that Frankie staying in town because of Caroline’s return is only a convenient excuse to spend more time around Jennifer.
Roman vouches that he did give Sami permission. Sami and Kate argue but Lucas stops it by insisting that he’s tired of Kate’s lies. Kate claims she came to talk to Roman about their divorce. The mention of divorce shocks Will. Roman pulls Kate aside to insist he isn’t changing his mind and that the exchange he just witnessed validates his decision. Sami uses the distraction as Lucas joins the debate between Roman and Kate to jot down the codes from the computer. Sami doesn’t notice that Will has walked up behind her until he loudly inquires as to why she is writing about Tony, which everyone overhears.
Sami quickly clicks away the information on the screen and closes up her
notebook as she claims that she was leaving Roman a note to ask him to make sure
Tony stays away from them. Roman assures Sami that Tony will be under tight
security. Kate insists that Tony is just waiting to incriminate Sami but Sami
insists she’s done nothing. Sami looks at Kate in shock and anger when Kate
answers Will’s plea with a warning that Sami can’t be trusted. Sami yells at
Kate for speaking to Will that way and Lucas has to hold her back. Lucas
suggests they distance themselves from this and go out to lunch. Sami, Lucas,
and Will leave. Kate starts in with trying to convince Roman that Sami worked
for Tony but Roman interrupts to ask Kate to stop because she’s already done
Patrick points out to Jack that Max is the one who took Chelsea to a sleazy
motel and walks away to put on his shirt. Frankie points out that Max isn’t a
saint but Jack explains that he brought Frankie here to show him how Patrick
lives off other people. They suddenly stop talking when Patrick returns.
Jennifer insists that she and Frankie are only friends. Hope warns that it only takes a single spark to rekindle an old love and Jennifer questions whether they’ve now switched to talking about Bo and Billie. Hope denies it but Jennifer guesses that Hope is really worried.
Billie holds her hands up to keep Bo and Max apart as Max gets to his feet. Bo wants another crack at Max so he can instill the lesson of never bringing Chelsea to a place like this again. Max reveals that he never took advantage of Chelsea and shows the pillow and blanket still on the floor from where he slept. Billie’s near tears to hear Max talk of how Chelsea is feeling having to find out that her real mom is the person she hates the most.
Hope admits that she is worried about where Bo and Billie having to share the good and bad times of parenting together will lead.
Patrick wants to know why Jack and Frankie were talking about him. Jack and Frankie claim they are here to keep an eye on him until Bo gets back to collect Hope. Jack steps away to check on his kid. Frankie questions Patrick about his real intentions but Patrick turns the tables and questions Frankie.
Roman dismisses Kate’s attempts to convince him of Sami’s wrongdoings and insists that all contact should be solely between their lawyers. Kate angrily agrees and slams the door as she storms out. Roman returns to his computer but doesn’t like what he sees on the screen. Det. Adams walks in to request the details for Tony’s transfer and starts over to the computer to retrieve the information but Roman stops him.
Sami, Lucas, and Will arrive at Alice’s Bar and spot Bart, dressed as a clown, giving out balloon animals to a group of kids. Bart motions to Sami to subtly reveal his true identity and Sami sends Will and Lucas inside claiming that she has to go back to the car for her cell phone. Sami walks over to Bart as he sends the kids away with their balloon animals. Bart continues the act by handing Sami a balloon animal and asks her for something to give him. Sami slips him the folded up paper containing the time and date of Tony’s transfer and confirms that it is real and that no one saw her get it. Sami questions Bart about Tony talking to Kate but Bart claims that Tony wouldn’t do that. Bart promises that if Sami’s information works, they’ll make sure Kate never gets the real dirt on Sami but warns that if it doesn’t work, all bets are off. Sami rolls her eyes as Bart pretends to laugh like a clown.
Kate slams her hand down on the counter as she curses Sami and vows not to let her win before storming off.
Roman shuts the door to the office. Roman reveals to Adams, under the promise that the information stays between them, that the information about Tony’s release on his computer is bogus because he expects Tony’s goons to try and use the transfer time to help Tony escape. Adams commends Roman on the plan and Roman gloats about how if used, it will help them trap Tony’s cohorts.
Sami shakes the balloon animal in Bart’s face as she insists that after delivering the information, she will do no more favors and wants confirmation that no one, especially Kate, will find out about her being Stan. Bart only pretends to laugh like a clown again.
Roman explains to Adams that the real information about Tony’s transfer is on a hidden encrypted dick. Adams doubts that the Dimera clan could be able to hack into their computers but Roman says it only matters whether or not they use the bogus information for if they do, they will be arrested.
Bart confirms that if the information works and Tony is freed, Sami will be in the clear. Bart bolts when Lucas walks up. Sami claims that she buying the balloon for Will and jumps when part of the balloon pops.
Frankie steps away when his cell phone rings but purposefully allows Patrick to overhear that the caller is calling to give him information on Patrick. Frankie hangs up the phone moments later and calls Patrick a lying bastard just as Jack returns.
Hope sits on the pool deck stairs as she shares her fears with Jennifer about
what Chelsea’s messed up life will do to their family.
Max sits down next to Billie on the bed and apologizes for upsetting her. Billie refuses to believe that Chelsea wants nothing to do with her. Max agrees to Bo’s request to let them talk to Chelsea alone and leaves the room. Chelsea comes out of the bathroom and is furious when she sees Bo and Billie. They try to get her to come home with them but Chelsea refuses and locks herself back in the bathroom.
