Jennifer’s living room:

Billie walks through the living room, past Hope and Jennifer. Hope decides that she can’t begrudge Bo and Billie for wanting to find Georgia because she is getting Shawn back and wants everyone to have a happy ending. Jennifer agrees and feels confident that everything is going to be okay from here on out.

Jennifer’s kitchen:

Jack, out of breath, brings the champagne bottle and bucket to the kitchen table. Jack picks up the champagne bottle with one hand and notices that his other hand is involuntarily shaking. Jack slams the champagne bottle back into the bucket as he wonders what is wrong with him. Jack passes out and hits the floor.

Jennifer’s entryway:

Bo warns Billie that getting the truth out of Tony about Georgia will not be easy. Billie is convinced that Tony knows where Georgia is and that they must get it out of him. Bo agrees to give it a shot but tells Billie not to get her hopes up too high. Billie acknowledges that Tony hates them and is a liar but she refuses to say that they’ll never see Georgia again.

Outside of Jennifer’s house:

Billie steps outside, sits down on the bench, and sighs.

Jennifer’s living room:

Hope is confident that Bo now realizes that his priority is with her and their sons. Jennifer nods in agreement.

Outside of Jennifer’s house:

Billie sits on the bench with tears running down her face. Bo comes out and joins Billie on the bench as Billie wipes away her tears. Bo urges Billie not to give up for they will find Georgia. Billie claims she’s trying but adds that she’s had faith in things before and never thought she would lose Bo. Bo starts to caution Billie but Billie continues to point out that while Bo has Hope and their sons, Georgia is all Billie has and she wouldn’t know what she’d do if she lost Georgia. A single tear rolls down Billie’s cheek.

Bunker:

Rex, Shawn and Brady step out into an empty corridor, brushing the dirt and debris off their clothes, having come out of the attack on the bunker unscathed. Shawn wants to call Belle again, complaining that he’ll actually get to talk to her now that Philip’s not around. Rex points out that Philip is only not around because he resigned up to active duty. Shawn insists that he only wants to talk to her and won’t put any pressure on her. Shawn adds that he hasn’t talked to Philip yet about him and Belle. Brady points out that news like that should come from Philip’s wife. Shawn shakes his head and walks away. Rex notes that Brady’s reaction means that he isn’t in agreement with Belle’s decision to leave Philip for Shawn. Brady proclaims that Belle is making a huge mistake and is better off with Philip. Rex asks Brady what he plans to do about it.

Belle’s loft & bunker:

The phone rings and Belle rushes back downstairs to answer it. She thinks it is Philip calling but then Shawn identifies himself as the caller. Belle tells Shawn that she can’t talk to him and asks him to hand the phone over to Philip. Shawn says he can’t do that.

Battlefield:

Philip leads a small group of marines out onto the battlefield. Philip spots the enemy behind a dune in the distance and declares his plan to get close enough to launch a grenade. Jake warns Philip that that plan is suicide but Philip insists on forging ahead, ordering the fellow marines to lay down some fire. Philip crawls along on his stomach in front of the dune while the other marines fire repeatedly over the top of the dune. Philip stops and rests behind a smaller dune and Jake rushes to his side to check on him. Philip insists he is fine and must get to that mortar. Philip pushes Jake’s head down before ducking down himself as another blast goes off around them.

Bunker command:

Lucas asks the marine guards to talk to Tony for he is the only one who can help find the woman he is looking for. The guard asks about the woman in question and Lucas admits that it’s Sami who was with them earlier but now missing and could be in trouble. The guard agrees to let Lucas in to see Tony. Tony still chained to the chair, smiles when he sees Lucas enter. Lucas demands to know where Sami is but Tony claims he has no idea. Lucas asks about Stan and when Tony questions why, Lucas admits that he fears that Stan may have Sami and Sami’s life may be in danger. Tony laughs evilly.

Battlefield:

Sami peers out over the top of a dune but then ducks back down and covers her head when a blast goes off near her. Sami tearfully proclaims that her choices are to either die here or die at home because once her family hears about her being Stan, they are going to burn her at the stake in Salem Place. Sami shrieks and covers her head again when another blast goes off.

Jennifer’s kitchen:

Jack begins to wake up and lifts his head but passes out again.

Jennifer’s living room:

Hope confides in Jennifer that even though she feels things will be better between her and Bo, she can’t let her guard down when it comes to Billie because she not only wants Georgia she wants Bo too. Jennifer assures Hope that Billie won’t get Bo because Bo loves her. Hope points out that Billie is willing to do anything to sink her claws into Bo and recalls how Billie took advantage of Bo’s inhaling gas fumes to seduce him. Jennifer can’t believe that Billie would do that. Hope insists that while it was terrible, it wasn’t Bo’s fault. Jennifer assures Hope that she has nothing to worry about as she hugs Hope and Hope believes her.

Outside of Jennifer’s house:

Bo is confident that they’ll get Tony to tell them the truth and then they’ll bring Georgia home. Billie wants to know what is going to keep Tony from lying to them again and leading them into another trap.

Bunker command:

Tony continues to laugh evilly. Lucas demands to know what is so funny. Tony explains that he was laughing at Lucas’ suggestion that Stan was a threat to Sami and assures Lucas that Stan is not a threat to Sami at least for now. Lucas admits that he found Stan’s clothes and that he found a long blond hair that he believes to belong to Sami leading Lucas to deduce that Sami was with Stan at some point. Tony admits that Stan and Sami spent a great deal of time together, which outrages Lucas. Tony tells Lucas not to get jealous because Stan is working for him. Lucas gets in Tony’s face and demands to know what Tony is talking about and Tony gloats that he is getting such a rise out of Lucas. Lucas calls Tony a bastard and threatens that he’ll kill him if something happens to Sami.

Battlefield:

Sami ducks and covers her head as another blast goes off. Sami rolls over to lie behind another dune as she tearfully realizes that Tony is going to rat her out to everyone. Sami decides that if she tells Lucas first, he’ll forgive her and then he can help convince everyone else to forgive her too. Sami imagines telling Lucas about being Stan, listing all the crimes against society she committed as Stan, and then begging Lucas for his forgiveness.

Bunker:

Brady tells Rex that it’s Belle’s decision and he’ll only butt in if Shawn decides to tell Philip the truth. Rex vows not to let Shawn do that. Brady hopes Belle doesn’t make a big mistake. Rex suggests that Belle seeing Philip in person again will help change her mind.

Belle’s loft & bunker:

Belle accuses Shawn of refusing to put Philip on the phone and Shawn explains that he can’t put Philip on the phone because Philip is not here. Belle decides to take this opportunity to yell at Shawn for organizing the rescue mission. Shawn tries to interrupt her but Belle persists. Shawn defends his actions by claiming it was to rescue Philip for Belle. Belle is still angry that Shawn risked his and everyone else’s lives. Shawn feels that “it’s all good” because the mission worked out and no one was harmed. Belle is still angry that Shawn lied to her about going over there. Shawn insists that he had to lie to Belle because if he hadn’t done this, Philip would be dead.

Battlefield:

Philip tells Jake about his plan to rush to a dune about 50 yards away that he can hide behind that is still within throwing distance of the mortar. Jake makes sure that Philip’s mike and earpiece are working and then tries to change his mind but Philip insists on following through with the plan. His fellow marines cover him with repetitive fire over the dune as Philip crawls along on his stomach toward the farther dune.

Jennifer’s kitchen:

Jack starts to come to again and weakly calls out Jennifer’s name. Jack passes out again.

Jennifer’s living room:

Jennifer is elated, confident that everything is now right because everyone has their loved ones back and the boys are safe and coming home. Hope adds that Tony is finally going to get what he deserves. Jennifer suggests heading off to the Horton cabin for a double family vacation once the boys come back. Hope likes that idea. Jennifer jokes about how they can keep an eye on the little ones while taking turns getting lost in the woods with their loved ones. Hope loves that idea. Jennifer realizes that Jack is not back yet with the champagne and decides to go check on him. Jennifer heads for the kitchen.

Outside of Jennifer’s house:

Bo confidently assures Billie that the ISA has ways of getting information out of Tony and when they do, he and Billie will get Georgia back. Hope, having just stepped outside and overheard Bo, adds that she sincerely hopes Billie and Bo get Georgia back. Suddenly they hear Jennifer scream and Hope, Bo, and Billie rush back inside.

Jennifer’s kitchen:

Jack is now awake and sitting up but his head is bleeding. Jennifer expresses her concern as she dabs at his wound. Jack insists that he’s fine, having only slipped and bumped his head. Jennifer insists that Jack get checked out but Jack refuses. Hope rushes into the kitchen first and expresses her concern over Jack as Bo and Billie enter the kitchen. Jack reiterates his story of slipping and cutting his head as he fell. Billie announces to everyone, much to Jack’s dismay, that Jack also passed out on the porch earlier. Jennifer insists again that Jack is going to the hospital. Hope offers her and Bo for babysitting services of Jack Patrick and Billie leaves to get the car. Jennifer and Bo help Jack to stand. Jack continues to insist that he is fine.

Belle’s loft & bunker:

Belle tearfully tells Shawn that she is glad that he is okay and that he is a hero but she was going crazy thinking that he and the others were going to die over there. Shawn tells Belle that the thing that scared him the most was not being able to come back to Belle and hold and kiss her, and tell her he loves her. Belle thanks him for rescuing Philip and decides to forgive Shawn. Shawn promises not to tell Philip about them and Belle promises to tell Philip the truth as soon as he comes home. Shawn tells Belle about Philip rejoining his unit. Belle isn’t happy to hear this news.

Battlefield:

Philip runs the rest of the way to the dune and ducks low when a series of gunshots land on top of the dune. Philip uses his mike to inform Jake that he is pinned down but Jake replies that they are also locked down with a sniper trying to pick them off. Jake estimates where the sniper is from Philip and Philip lifts his head slightly above the level of the dune to spot the sniper. Philip offers to shoot the sniper but he’ll have to get up to be a clear shot. Jake warns that by doing so, Philip will be a perfect target. Philip stands up to shoot the sniper but the sniper fires back and shoots Philip.

Bunker command:

Tony is confident that nothing Lucas can do to him will get him the answer he wants. Tony tells Lucas to go look for Sami if he wants to find her and to say hello for him if he runs into Stan. Lucas steps outside of the bunker command where Rex and Brady are waiting to hear how it went with Tony. Lucas tells them that he got nothing out of Tony and asks about Sami but neither Rex nor Brady have seen her. Lucas becomes angry that Sami always gets herself into trouble so that he has got to save her.

Battlefield:

Sami continues to imagine telling Lucas the truth and begging for his forgiveness. In the fantasy, Lucas refuses to forgive Sami. Instead, he hopes that she’ll be given the lethal injection and that they’ll let him give her the needle. Sami feels that she’s a dead woman either way. Another blast goes off and Sami covers her head. Sami tearfully wishes that one of those shells would hit her and get it over with.

Bunker command:

Bart dressed in a US marine uniform and carrying bolt cutters, sneaks into the bunker command through a back door. Tony is relieved to see Bart but annoyed that it took him so long to get there. Bart explains that once he put on the uniform the marines tried to make him go out into battle and he had to talk his way out of it. Tony, growing impatient, orders Bart to use the bolt cutters to get him out of the chains. Bart uses the opportunity to ask for a raise but Tony tells him that now is not the time.

Bunker:

Brady wants Lucas to admit that he still loves Sami and Lucas claims that he wouldn’t want anything to happen to her because she is Will’s mother. Brady wants to know why Sami was here with Tony and Lucas explains that that was what he was trying to find out but Tony wouldn’t say anything. Brady pulls out his gun and tells Rex to open the door to the bunker command. When they enter the room, Tony is gone. Lucas insists that Tony was right there a moment ago and Rex notices that the back panel is open. They rush through into the open battlefield. Lucas spots Sami off in the distance and tells Rex and Brady to go after Tony while he goes to save Sami. Lucas heads off toward Sami. Brady and Rex enter bunker command through the panel and then head away down the corridor. Tony steps out of a nearby door and starts to walk in the opposite direction but an armed marine stops him. Tony, with a smile on his face, obliges the marine’s order to put his hands on his head.

Battlefield:

Sami continues to duck and cover as shells fall all around her. Sami starts reciting the bedtime prayer but then reminds herself that she isn’t going to sleep, she’s going to die. Sami begs God for one more chance in exchange for a promise to change her ways. Another explosion hits and Sami ducks and covers. Lucas hops the dune and ducks down with Sami. Sami explains that she thought the bunker was going to be blown up so she ran out here. Lucas tells Sami that they are going to zigzag run and insists that Sami not argue and simply do anything he commands. Sami agrees. Lucas kisses Sami for luck and they jump over the dune and take off.

Belle’s loft & bunker:

Belle is angry that Shawn didn’t stop Philip from going back into combat. Shawn explains that they all tried to stop him but Philip insisted. Shawn is angry with Philip for doing this to Belle but Belle defends Philip’s actions by citing his oath to protect his country. Shawn points out that Philip also took an oath to Belle but Belle retorts that she also took an oath to him and now this is what she’s doing instead. Shawn sighs and rolls his eyes.

Battlefield:

Jake tries to reach Philip through the mike and earpiece but Philip doesn’t reply. Philip comes to and reports back to Jake that he took a bullet in the flak jacket and while he thinks he broke a rib, he’s all right. Philip struggles to get the words out in between coughs. Jake senses that Philip doesn’t sound fine and tells him to come back in now that he’s done his hero thing but Philip refuses.

Belle’s loft & bunker:

Belle looks at a picture of her and Philip’s wedding day and vows to keep her vows to Philip. Shawn points out that she is being faithful since he and Belle are miles apart. Belle feels that even talking to Shawn on the phone is being unfaithful. Shawn insists that until Belle gets out of her marriage, he respects her decision not to do anything. Shawn says he understands that Belle is worried and Belle adds that she never dreamt Philip would go back into combat after all this. Shawn promises that Philip is coming home even if he has to drag Philip onto the plane himself. Shawn asks Belle if she still wants to be together.

Battlefield:

Philip pulls the grenade out of his pocket and uses the mike to tell Jake to wait for his command to lay down as much fire as they can. Philip gives the command, pulls the plug on the grenade and tosses it over towards the mortar. Philip is thrown back and passes out. Jake tries to get him on the earpiece.

Jennifer’s living room:

Hope brings a tray of coffee into the living room and pours Bo a cup. Hope is hopeful that Jack is going to be okay because she’s never seen Jennifer so hopeful about the future. Bo assures her that Jack only fell and hit his head and will be okay. Hope reiterates that Jack passed out the first time before ever hitting his head. Bo blames it on Jack being exhausted from being held prisoner by Tony. Hope adds all that Jack has had to go through since coming back and decides that Bo is right. The conversation switches to talk of whether Tony will cough up information and be held accountable for his actions. Bo is confident that he’ll get Tony to talk and tell them where Georgia is. Hope tells Bo that she hopes that happens and Bo asks if Hope is really okay with “her” being a part of their family. Hope says she is as long as the “her” is Georgia. Hope and Bo kiss. Hope says she understands that Bo will want to spend as much time with Georgia as he can so she can know what an amazing dad she has. They kiss again and Bo adds that Georgia needs to know what an amazing step mom she has too. Hope tells Bo about Jennifer’s idea to take a family vacation and he likes the idea too as they repeatedly kiss. Hope adds that if they find Georgia in time, they should bring her along. Bo likes that idea but laughs when Hope adds that Billie wouldn’t be invited. Bo is confident that Billie will understand that he wants to spend time with Georgia and Hope smiles as she promises to help straighten Billie out if she has any problems with boundaries. They kiss again and Bo smiles as he stands up from the couch. Hope smacks Bo’s butt as she joins him across the room. Hope warns that Billie doesn’t just want Georgia but Bo too but she isn’t going to get Bo because Bo is hers. Bo vows that he loves Hope and nothing is ever going to change that. Bo and Hope passionately kiss but then Bo pulls away, still holding Hope’s face in his hands. Hope tells him to kiss her again but even though Bo continues to lightly kiss her, he must step away to do something first. Bo heads into the kitchen.

Hospital:

Billie is standing with Jack as Jennifer walks up with Lexie. Jack tells Lexie about slipping in the dining room, cutting his head and bleeding a little. Jack feels that Jennifer is simply overreacting. Lexie dons gloves as Billie tells her about Jack passing out the first time on the porch. Lexie is surprised to hear that Jack passed out twice and Jack jokes that the first time was just for practice. Lexie asks to take a look at the cut and bends down so Lexie can examine his wound. Lexie determines the wound to be superficial but wants to clean it and take some blood for tests. Jack jokes about how he’s already bleeding but Jennifer begs him to take this seriously. Lexie leads Jack away and Jack promises to bring Jennifer back a lollypop. Jennifer asks Billie why Jack passed out and Billie suggests it could be attributed to post war stress syndrome.

Bunker:

Sami and Lucas arrive safely inside the bunker. Lucas is amazed that Sami was able to keep up with him and Sami jokes about how the hours on the treadmill have paid off. Sami thanks Lucas for saving her life but Lucas wants to thank her for saving them. Sami reminds Lucas of how Tony was when he used to work for him. Lucas regrets making that choice. Lucas assures Sami that she was a prisoner just like them but Sami fears that Tony will make up a story to make sure that everybody hates her. Lucas feels that no one will believe what Tony says anymore and Tony will have to come up with rock hard evidence for him to believe it. Sami flashes back to her talk with Tony. Sami fears that Tony will produce the evidence and sink her. Brady and Rex join them, surprised to see Sami. Lucas asks Brady and Rex if they found Tony and then fills Sami in on Tony’s escape.

Bart shows off an identifying part of his uniform to the soldier holding a gun on Tony and pretends to be a senior officer ordering the soldier to be relieved of duty. The soldier obeys Bart’s order and runs off. Tony pats Bart on the back and tells him that he’s earned that raise. Bart salutes Tony.

Jennifer’s living room:

Hope holds a picture of Jack, Jennifer, and Abby close. Bo brings Hope a bouquet of fresh picked flowers. As Hope admires them, Bo compliments Jennifer’s garden and Hope is shocked to realize that Bo picked these flowers from Jennifer’s garden because these specific flowers are ones Jennifer has been slaving over these flowers since last fall in order to grow them for the spring flower show. Bo begins to feel even worse when Hope tells him that the flowers are hand-seeded hybrids. Hope tells Bo that it isn’t his fault but Jennifer is still going to be upset. Bo suggests replanting them but Hope points out that they can’t since Bo cut them. Hope suggests calling Alice who is also growing the same flowers for advice. Bo complains that he was only trying to show Hope how much he loves her and Hope quips about how the most obvious way is right under his nose and kisses him.

Hospital exam room:

Jack is now bandaged up and he, Billie, and Jennifer wait for Lexie to return. Jack taunts Jennifer as if she was worried for nothing because all he needed was a little bandage. Jennifer is anxious for Lexie to return with the test results. Jack jokes about how the husband speaks and the wife ignores. Billie tells Jack to knock off the jokes for he has to stay healthy. Lexie walks up and asks Jennifer and Billie to step outside so she can examine Jack further. Billie offers to go check in on the boys overseas and Jennifer agrees to wait outside for Jack and kisses him goodbye. Jack jokingly calls after her that he’ll get her another lollypop. Jack asks Lexie why Jennifer had to leave and Lexie tells him that she got his test results back and they aren’t good.

Bunker:

Sami is shocked to hear that Tony is gone. Rex suggests splitting up and offers to take the outside perimeter. Brady warns him to wait for backup if he finds Tony. Lucas offers to go with them but notices that Sami is still breathing heavily and suggests staying with her. Brady and Rex head out. Sami asks Lucas if his feelings for her have changed since she left Salem. Lucas tells her that being under this gunfire has made him look at his life in a new light and they’ll talk about it when they get home. Sami still wants to know if Lucas has feelings for her but Lucas won’t talk about it now, only to say that he’s glad she didn’t die out there. Lucas hopes they find Tony for he can’t think of anyone who deserves as much misery as he does. Sami mentally urges Tony to keep running because her future with Lucas depends on Tony not being around to rat her out. Lucas tells Sami that the ISA will want to talk to her about Stan and will want to hear everything Sami knows about him.

Bart, with gun drawn, checks the hallway before stepping out of one of the rooms. Once he determines it is clear, Tony steps out now dressed as a marine. Bart suggests getting out while they can but Tony suggests splitting up and sending Bart up the hallway while he heads down the hallway with plans to meet Bart outside. Tony quickly turns away as Brady comes around the corner and, thinking Tony is a marine, asks for word on Tony. Tony quietly mumbles no and tries to walk away. Brady stops him but when he turns Tony to face him Brady realizes whom it is and draws his gun. Tony tries to make a deal with Brady to be let go but Brady doesn’t think that Tony could offer him anything worthwhile. Tony offers to bring Chloe back from the grave.

Belle’s loft & bunker:

Belle insists that she still wants to be with Shawn but reiterates that if something happens to Philip in combat, they can never be together.

Battlefield:

Philip comes to and hears Jake tell him that the mission was successful and to come on back. Philip starts to crawl around but informs Jake that he can’t find his bearings and to send up a flare so he can tell their location. Philip crawls up to a sign and realizes that it reads that the area he’s currently crawling in is a minefield.
