Jennifer’s house:

Hope and Bo stop by Jack and Jennifer’s house to tell them that Tony is alive and he’s the one holding the boys hostage. Bo relays John’s message to Jack and Jennifer about how John is using the ISA computer to pinpoint Tony and the boys. Billie lets herself in and asks if there has been any news. Hope stands up to Billie and tells her that she shouldn’t be here because this is all her fault.

Belle’s loft:

Mimi is growing restless from not hearing any news about the boys and begs Belle to go over to John’s penthouse. Belle doesn’t want to leave her loft in case someone from the Marines tries to contact her. Belle urges Mimi to think positively that it will all work out and the boys will be saved.

Penthouse:

Roman checks on John’s progress in the search. John explains that he is downloading images from the ISA spy satellite in an attempt to pinpoint where Tony is hiding the boys. Marlena, Roman, and Kate try to fathom how Tony could have survived the explosion at the castle. John proclaims that this time Tony isn’t going to win because he is in for the shock of his life.

Bunker command office:

Bart checks in on Tony. Tony explains that he expects John to be using the ISA spy satellite to try and pinpoint their location so he is diverting the source signal so their coordinates cannot be traced. Tony gloats as he decides to allow John and Marlena and Kate and Roman to see their loved ones one last time. Bart isn’t sure that Tony should really go through with his plan but Tony seriously plans to exact revenge on his enemies, having been waiting for this moment. Tony laughs and gloats about how Sami helped capture the hostages. Bart calls Tony’s attention to a possible problem on the video screens.

Hostage room:

Brady, Rex, Shawn, Philip, and Lucas check the room for a way out. They hear someone coming and flatten themselves against the wall by the door under the one-way mirror. Sami opens the door and everyone crowds around her, ready to pounce until they realize whom it is. Brady wants to know how Sami got past the guards and Sami begs to be able to explain but Lucas tells her not to bother for he knows why she is here.

Bunker command:

Tony tells Bart not to worry because Sami is under tight security and while she may think she’s going to help the hostages, he’s not going to let that happen. Tony thinks that after all Sami has done to help him, it’s a little late to be playing heroine. Bart is more worried that John is picking up on a weak signal that they can’t disguise. Tony is confident that he can stay one step ahead of John.

John’s penthouse:

John comes close to getting the feed. John warns Marlena not to celebrate so soon since Tony will probably try something desperate if he realizes what John is up to. Kate worries that Tony could hurt the boys. John assures Kate that he plans to pinpoint the location and have the marines and special ops mount a rescue mission. Kate is hopeful that Brady, Rex, Philip, and Lucas will be saved. Roman adds his hopes for Shawn to be saved but Kate still believes that the whole situation is Shawn’s fault. Roman defends Shawn but Kate persists. Marlena tells Kate that all of the boys have risked their lives and rather than assigning blame, they should be grateful and pray that they all come home alive. John realizes that Tony is onto him and is jamming up the signal with static. John switches to alternating his encryption to establish a video link. Everyone crowds around the computer to watch a heat/motion sensitive video feed of the hostage room.

Hostage room:

Lucas assumes that Sami is there because Tony took her prisoner too. Brady and Shawn question what Tony would want with Sami and Lucas explains that Tony likes to hit people when they’re most vulnerable. Sami confirms Lucas’ theory that for most of the time she’s been gone, she’s been with Tony. Brady and Shawn still have their doubts and Shawn wants to know how Sami got the key to get in the room with them. Sami claims she took advantage of one guard taking a break and knocked out the other guard before stealing his keys. Shawn doesn’t believe Sami but Lucas does. Brady still has his reservations and Shawn accuses Sami of working for Tony. Sami pulls out a gun. Philip, Brady, and Shawn try to talk Sami into putting away the gun as everyone backs away.

Jennifer’s house:

Billie is tired of being blamed by Hope. Hope says she’ll quit when Kate stops blaming Shawn and puts the blame on Billie for keeping Bo from stopping Shawn. Bo interrupts to insist that they couldn’t have done anymore to stop Shawn but Hope isn’t convinced. Jennifer asks Billie to leave but Jack steps up to defend Billie’s right to be there. Jennifer rolls her eyes and walks away. Jack and Bo assure Billie that John and Roman will find a way to bring the boys home. Jennifer notices Hope’s angry glare towards Bo and Billie.

Belle’s loft & penthouse:

Marlena has called Belle to tell her about the boys being held by Tony. Marlena assures Belle that John is working on a rescue plan and that she will call with any further news. They end their call. Mimi and Belle try to fathom why Tony would be doing this to their loved ones and Belle is confident that John will stop Tony once and for all.

Bunker command:

Tony sends a signal to the satellite so that no one including John can track their location. Tony jokes about how even though John wants to play the hero, he still has a few tricks up his sleeve. Bart suddenly calls Tony’s attention to the video screen showing one of the guard’s unconscious on the floor. Tony searches the video screens for signs of Sami.

Hostage room:

All of the guys yell at Sami to put the gun away. Sami insists that she got the gun from the guard and shows off a bruise she received from the guard in the struggle. Sami gives Philip the gun and begs him to get them all out. Lucas feels that this is proof that Sami is telling the truth but Brady isn’t so sure. Everyone decides that they don’t have time to argue either way and huddle together to form a plan of escape.

Penthouse:

Marlena, Kate, and Roman gather around John as he finds that with every move he makes, Tony is one step ahead of him. John is still however able to keep the weak signal and everyone is able to watch the thermo-numeric image of the hostage room. John uses the information to confirm that who they’re looking at is the guys but then Marlena points out the 6th person in the video. John uses the information to confirm that the person is a female, about 5’5 and 115 pounds. Marlena, somewhat jokingly, suggests that those measurements fit Sami. Roman, Marlena, and Kate wonder whether the 6th person really could be Sami.

Belle’s loft & penthouse:

Mimi is still scared that John won’t be able to take on Tony but Belle remains confident. Mimi mentions how at least this is keeping her mind off of going to jail but Belle assures her that she isn’t going to jail. The telephone rings and it is Marlena calling back. Marlena informs Belle and Mimi that all of the hostages are still alive. Marlena then tells Belle about how they think Sami is over there too, appearing to have been taken hostage as well. Belle doesn’t understand why Sami would be over there and Marlena promises Belle that if they get any answers, they’ll call Belle back.

Penthouse & Jennifer’s house:

Marlena hangs up and wonders what Sami has gotten herself up to now. Roman uses his cell phone to call Bo and tell him the news about Sami and the guys being alive. Roman informs Bo that John is sending a link to Jack’s computer and they end the call.

Jennifer’s house:

Jack receives the link and pulls up the live video feed. Bo, Hope, Jennifer and Billie crowd around Jack as they watch the video. Jack confirms that the 6th person does look like a woman and Hope frantically tries to tell which of the figures is Shawn. Jack warns that when it comes to Tony, you never know what he’s going to do next.

Bunker command:

Tony watches Sami and the guys inside the hostage bunker via the video screen. Tony warns Bart that Sami is going to pay dearly. Tony tells Bart to double up the guards so they can make sure that Sami and the guys don’t get out.

Hostage bunker:

Shawn is anxious to get out. Brady suggests keeping an eye on Sami so she doesn’t double cross them like Stan did. Lucas, Rex, and Shawn share their regrets for believing Stan. Brady gives Philip back his dog tags. Sami nervously listens to Lucas threaten to hurt Stan. Sami flashes back to when Tony threatened to expose her as Stan should she not agree to do his bidding. Sami gives Brady the key and Brady tosses it behind him to Rex. Lucas offers to stay with Sami and Philip carries the weapon, warning everyone to stand behind him. Shawn and Rex make a plan to scope out the area while Brady and Philip plan to take on Tony. Lucas grabs Sami’s arm, intent on heading out right behind them but Sami makes him wait after everyone else leaves. Sami desperately wants to know why Lucas defended her earlier, hoping that it means that once they get home, he’ll give her another chance.

Bunker:

Rex and Shawn stealthily make their way through the hallways. Shawn still doesn’t trust Sami but Rex would rather simply focus on getting out. They turn a corner, unaware that two armed guards are behind them until the guards hold their guns on Shawn and Rex and order them to stop.

Brady and Philip make their way through the hallways with Philip stepping out first, ready to fire the gun if needed. Brady regrets letting Shawn and Rex go off by themselves because Shawn is a hot head. Philip hopes that Shawn doesn’t do something stupid and they continue down another corridor.

The guards surround Rex and Shawn on either side. Charles, who is standing by Shawn, tells William to call Tony and tell him that they have a situation but they will take care of it. Shawn and Rex exchange glances and Shawn takes the initiative to lunge at Charles. They struggle and Charles’ gun is knocked free. William keeps his gun pressed into Rex’s back. Shawn tries to reach for the gun but Charles lunges for him again. They continue to struggle until Charles reaches for his gun. Shawn reaches out to grab Charles’ hand away from the gun.

Jennifer’s house:

They have lost the feed. Hope suggests calling John but Bo reminds her that Roman said this might happen and it will be back soon. Jack and Jennifer head for the kitchen to make coffee. Billie suggests that Sami being there can only mean more trouble and Hope asks her not to make things worse. Billie sarcastically apologizes. Jennifer asks Jack to get Billie away from Hope. Jack agrees and returns to the living room to suggest that he and Billie get some fresh air. Billie correctly guesses that Jack only brought her outside because Jennifer asked him to get her away from Hope. Jack defends Jennifer but Billie brushes it off, rather wanting to be concerned about Jack. Jack insists that he’s fine and asks Billie to tell him the truth about whether she’s really here because she followed Bo. Jennifer offers to make tea instead of coffee and heads into the kitchen. Bo tries to assure Hope that everything will be all right but Hope doesn’t believe him. Hope reiterates that if something happens to Shawn, she won’t ever be able to forgive Bo.

Belle’s loft:

Belle and Mimi try to comprehend why Sami would be in a war zone. Belle suggests that Sami found out about the hostages and went over there in hopes that it would get Lucas to take her back. Mimi makes Belle see that Sami being able to track down the guys without help when the ISA and marines have to work together to search isn’t feasible. Mimi suggests that Sami could be working for Tony but Belle refuses to believe that.

Hostage room:

Sami wants to know if Lucas thinks they can have a future together. Lucas points out that they can’t stop and talk right now, they must get out before Tony catches them. Lucas tells Sami that when they get home, he’ll want answers especially any information Sami may know about Stan. Sami starts to reply but they hear gunfire. Lucas grabs Sami and they run out.

Bunker command:

Bart runs back into the command center and warns Tony that the prisoners have escaped. Tony proclaims that they must blow up the bunker and no one survives. Bart begins to protest, fearing for his own life, but Tony, as he checks over his gun, repeats that no living soul will survive. Tony leaves the command center. Bart tearfully says goodbye to the boys, Sami, and himself.

Bunker:

Shawn is able to get to the gun first and holds it on Charles. Shawn demands that Charles do as he says or he’ll shoot and William, who continues to hold the gun in Rex’s back, repeats the warning. Shawn looks between William and Charles.

Philip continues to make his way through the hallway, ready with gun drawn as Brady follows a few steps behind.

William demands that Shawn make a decision. Shawn acts like he is going to pull the trigger and shoot Charles but instead suddenly turns the gun toward Rex and William and fires. Rex looks shocked.

Penthouse:

Everyone becomes discouraged when John is unable to get the feed back yet. Kate badmouths Sami but Roman steps up to tell Kate to stop. John speaks up to suggest that Kate might be on to something. Roman would rather focus on the idea that Sami is a prisoner along with the guys. John’s computer beeps and the feed is back. Marlena complains that she can’t see anything and John explains that that is because the signal is too weak. John next uses the Marines updated tracking data to adjust his coordinates and gain a lock on that bunker. Marlena says a quick prayer for the safety of the hostages and Kate quickly assumes Sami is up to no good. Marlena tells Kate to reserve judgment until they know that their children are home safely. Kate feels that the only way to make that happen is if no one trusts Sami. Marlena is fuming.

Bunker:

Sami complains about how dark it is in her hallway and asks Lucas if he can see anything. Sami begins to worry when Lucas doesn’t answer her and starts to make her way along the corridor. Bart quietly slips out of the control room and makes his way against the wall. Sami, meanwhile, is making her way against the perpendicular wall and they end up running into each other at the corner and both scream. Sami begs Bart not to turn her in and Bart tells her about Tony’s anger upon seeing that she tried to rescue the guys. Bart confides in Sami that she did the right thing because Tony has stepped over that line from criminal genius to insanity and is out for blood. Sami suggests finding a way out but Bart warns that even if Sami pulls off the great escape, it won’t be enough to redeem her when everyone finds out that she was Stan.

The one shot turns out to be William and Rex quickly grabs William’s gun before he can reach out for it. William lies on the floor, writhing from his wound. Shawn and Rex order Charles to move over by William as they hold the guns on both guards. Philip and Brady walk up and join Shawn and Rex. Tony suddenly comes out of hiding and grabs Brady, holding a gun to Brady’s side. Philip aims his gun at Tony, ordering him to drop the weapon. Shawn aims his gun at Tony while Rex keeps his gun on the guards. Tony tells Philip that he loses but his consolation prize is to watch Brady die first.

Penthouse:

Kate sits quietly alone on the living room couch while Marlena and Roman crowd around John as he works on the computer. Marlena asks about John’s progress and John says that in another minute, he’ll have the location nailed down. Roman hopes that by then it won’t be too late.

Jennifer’s house:

Billie insists that she didn’t come here because of Bo but because of her brothers. Jack cautions that he doesn’t want to see Billie get hurt again but Billie quips that he’s too late. Billie suggests leaving and even though Jack tries to talk her out it, Billie points out that Hope doesn’t want her around and it is for good reason. Billie flashes back to making love to Bo in the pit. Jack asks if Billie wants to talk about it now but Billie says no and turns to go. Jack starts after her but suddenly falters. Billie quickly grabs him and helps him straighten up.

Bo puts his arm around Hope and reminds her that she’s not the only one worried about Shawn. Jennifer returns with the tea and checks that the feed still isn’t back yet. Hope is anxious to know what is going on but Bo assures her that all they’d be seeing if the screen was on is all 6 hostages locked up in no immediate danger.

Belle’s loft & Penthouse:

Belle has called Marlena, desperately desiring any news. Marlena tells Belle that John is trying to pinpoint the bunker’s location so that then they hope the group will be rescued. Marlena promises to call Belle the moment she has any news and tells her to keep praying. Belle hangs up the phone and relays what Marlena just told her to Mimi. Mimi asks about Sami for fear that Sami is up to no good.

Bunker:

Sami ducks into a room and finds her Stan costume sitting on a crate. Sami picks it up and desperately tries to find a place to hide it. Sami flashes back to being Stan and turning the guys over to William and Charles. Sami pulls something small out of Stan’s pants pocket and tucks it into her pants pocket. Sami hears Lucas calling as he gets closer to her and she quickly stuffs the disguise down in between two crates. Sami quickly steps back out into the hallway and greets Lucas. Lucas asks why she was in the room and Sami claims that that room is where they keep weapons but there aren’t any in there now. Lucas wants to know how Sami knows so much about this place but Sami would rather focus on finding everyone and getting out of here. Sami grabs Lucas’s arm and leads him away.

Tony continues to hold the gun against Brady’s side. Philip holds his gun inches away from Tony and orders him to drop his gun because he is outnumbered. Tony points out that he doesn’t care about the guards’ lives or his own so even if they shoot him, Brady will still die. Both guards are now standing, the one guard apparently not too hurt by Shawn’s bullet. Sami and Lucas arrive and Sami yells at Tony not to hurt Brady which distracts Philip, Rex, and Shawn long enough for William and Charles to grab Rex and Shawn’s guns. William and Charles now hold their guns on Rex, Shawn, and Philip yet Philip keeps his gun aimed at Tony. Tony lets go of Brady and pushes him into the mix of people between him and the guards. Tony holds his gun on Philip as William orders Sami and Lucas to join the group of hostages. Tony gloats about how he now has the most guns and orders Philip to drop his gun. Philip proudly states that he is a US Marine who takes orders only from superiors and Tony isn’t a superior to anyone. Tony sarcastically salutes Philip before asking if his motto is simper fi for always faithful or simper morte for always dead.

Jennifer’s house:

Billie helps Jack to the bench even though Jack insists that he is fine. Billie persists but just as Jack is proclaiming again that he is fine, he passes out with his head on Billie’s shoulder.

Hope and Jennifer crowd around Bo as he works on the computer. Hope complains that she can’t see anything and then prays that everyone is all right.

Belle’s loft:

Belle and Mimi join hands and ask God to keep their guys and Sami safe and bring them home.

Penthouse:

John announces that the satellite feed is back on and Roman, Marlena, and Kate crowd around him at the computer again. The image they now see is the thermo-numeric version of Tony and the guards holding guns on the hostages while Philip holds his gun on Tony. John can’t tell who is who but can tell that 4 of them are armed. The picture becomes static filled and is lost.

Jennifer’s house:

Bo loses the feed as well. Jennifer asks Bo if he could see anything in the video and Hope warns that it didn’t look good.

Penthouse:

Kate fears that her sons are going to die. Roman tries to assure her that her sons will be fine. Marlena begins to cry as she thinks about Sami. Kate declares that it’s all Sami’s fault and hopes that Sami burns in hell for what she’s done. Marlena glares at Kate.

Bunker command:

The alarm is going off. Bart notices that his system has lost the feed as well. Bart decides that it’s time to go and heads out of the control room.

Bunker:

Philip, still holding his gun on Tony, declares that he will die proudly before taking orders from Tony. Suddenly, the marine captain comes running out, identifies himself as US Marines and orders Tony not to move. More marines come running out of the corridor and Tony turns down his gun. The captain cautiously approaches Tony, intent on getting the gun from him but Philip asks to have the honor. The captain agrees and steps away from Tony. Philip hands his gun to Brady and takes the gun from Tony. Philip turns away but then turns back and punches Tony, sending him to the floor. While the other marines keep an eye on Tony, the captain informs Brady, Rex, and Shawn that they were unknowingly fitted with tracking devices so that together with the ISA spy satellite, John could help the marines pinpoint their exact location. The captain chastises them for acting so reckless and irresponsible but also commends them for helping find Philip and Tony. Lucas and Brady bring up Stan, wanting him to be arrested too. Tony tells them that Stan is here. All the guys look around, trying to see where Stan is but Sami glares at Tony.
