Outside of Alice’s Bar:

Stan hides in the bushes as he watches Jan and Mimi argue about their respective blackmail threats. Jan believes she has the power since the secret she has on Mimi will cause her to lose Rex. Mimi vows not to lose Rex because of Jan and warns Jan to be afraid of when Shawn will find out about being kept in a cage. Jan curses Mimi and starts to choke her. They fall to the ground as Jan continues to choke Mimi. Mimi is able to fight Jan off and crawls along the ground, coughing and trying to catch her breath. Jan gets up, now even angrier and rushes over to Mimi for another round. In the process, Jan trips over a log and hits the side of her head against a rock. Mimi looks over and realizes what happened to Jan. Mimi rushes over and picks up Jan’s head, spotting the bloody wound on Jan’s temple. Mimi begs Jan to wake up. Stan uses his cell phone to call the cops and report a murder.

John’s penthouse:
Kate yells at Belle for caring more about Shawn’s welfare than getting Philip home safe. Belle insists that she does want Philip home safe but can’t risk losing Shawn. Kate calls Belle a selfish bitch and slaps her across the face. John comes back into the room and yells at Kate, having witnessed the slap. Kate hesitates to reply to John so John wants to throw Kate out of the house. Belle declares that it was her fault and John looks at both Kate and Belle, wanting to know what is going on.

Shawn’s loft:
Shawn is anxious to have Rex access the classified government web sites. Rex refuses to help, trying to convince Shawn that he’ll end up dead if he tries this rescue mission. Shawn still insists on possibly sacrificing his own life so Rex vows not to help Shawn.

Hope & Bo’s guest room:

Billie sets the mood by lighting some candles. Billie starts undressing Patrick but Patrick stops her to question whether making love in Bo and Hope’s house is the right thing to do. Billie assures him that Hope and Bo aren’t even home.

Hope & Bo’s living room:
Hope and Bo arrive home and Hope remarks how she hates coming home to an empty house. Hope brings up Billie again as the one thing spoiling their alone time and Bo is annoyed. Hope quickly apologizes. Bo suggests that they be extra quiet so as not to wake Billie. Hope exaggerates tiptoeing up the stairs but as they reach the stairs, they hear the sounds of Billie and Patrick upstairs making love. Hope jokes that she can tell that Billie is wide-awake. Bo pushes past Hope to rush upstairs and Hope runs after Bo to try and stop him.

Hope & Bo’s guest bedroom:

Bo throws open the guest bedroom door and Hope finally catches up with him just as Billie and Patrick’s actions make the bed break. Bo clears his throat to make his presence known and Patrick helps Billie cover up with the bed sheet. Hope tries to play the gracious host by apologizing for barging in and for not telling them that the bed has broken before, adding that they didn’t expect the bed to be getting such a workout. Hope tries to make a gracious exit by telling Patrick that since he and Billie are both adults, he is more than welcome to spend the night. Bo is against that idea, believing that Patrick is the last person Billie needs.

Bo yells at Patrick to get out and Patrick asks if he can get dressed first. Hope tells Patrick to stay put and yells at Bo for treating Billie and Patrick like teenagers. Bo says that Patrick and Billie aren’t allowed to be making love in his house. Hope retorts that this is her house too and reminds Bo that he was the one who invited Billie to be their houseguest. Patrick feels like this was a mistake and Bo agrees with him even though Billie doesn’t. Patrick wants Bo to mind his own business but Bo is still convinced that Patrick is still part of the DiMera organization. Billie insists that Bo is wrong. Hope believes that Bo is being paranoid when he refers to the situation as Billie being in bed with the enemy. Bo accuses Patrick of following DiMera orders by getting Billie drunk.

Outside of Alice’s Bar:

Mimi fears that Jan is dead as Stan continues to watch from the bushes. Mimi hears the police sirens approaching and ducks into the bushes. Officer Casarez directs the paramedics to Jan. Casarez offers to check the area for the assailant and Mimi crouches down and remains still as she hears him call out to someone in the bushes, fearing that she’s been found out.

John’s penthouse:
John feels that Belle could not have done anything to deserve being slapped and demands that Kate explain her actions. Belle explains that they were arguing about Philip and apologizes to Kate for not being more sensitive. Kate apologizes to Belle for lashing out. Belle tries to brush off the situation but John demands to know what sparked the argument. Belle admits that the topic was Shawn and tells John about how after hacking into the rescue mission; Shawn wants to go over and rescue Philip himself. Kate explains that she told Belle that Shawn should do it and Belle explains that she doesn’t want Shawn to risk his life. John lashes out at Belle for still wanting to be with Shawn.

Shawn’s loft:

Shawn continues to try and convince Rex to help him. Rex points out to Shawn that he does not have the training that Philip or the government has in dealing with these kinds of situations and refuses to help.

Outside of Alice’s Bar:

It turns out that the cops actually spotted Stan and not Mimi. Mimi continues to hide in the bushes as Stan comes out of hiding to talk to the cops. Stan tells the cops that he didn’t do it but did see two women fighting, only he couldn’t see their faces. The other cops find Mimi’s acrylic nail and put it in an evidence bag, convincing the cops that the attacker was female. Stan breathes a sigh of relief that now the cops won’t suspect him. Mimi wonders how she can get out of the area but realizes that if she moves, the cops will see her. The other cops bring an elderly gentleman to Casarez whose eyewitness account confirms Stan’s story. The men take the gentleman away to get his statement. The paramedics announce that they got Jan breathing again but her pulse is weak. They lead Jan away on a stretcher. The cops tell Stan to stick around so they can take his statement before heading into the bar to check for a woman with a missing fake fingernail. Mimi tries to take the opportunity to leave but Stan stops her, letting her know that he saw the whole thing.

Shawn’s loft:
Shawn insists that he’ll be the last thing the captors are expecting and would be able to slip right in. Rex calls Shawn dumb for wanting to go into a foreign country when he doesn’t even speak the language. Shawn tries to get Rex to put himself in Philip’s shoes in a last ditch effort to try and convince him to help.

John’s penthouse:
John yells at Belle for wanting to be with Shawn, listing all of his recent bad behavior. Belle defends Shawn and insists that Shawn is telling the truth when he promised not to go after Philip.

Hope & Bo’s guest bedroom:

Billie insists that Patrick did not get her drunk for all she had was cranberry juice. Bo insists that Patrick must have spiked Billie’s drink but both Hope and Billie think that idea is absurd. Billie notices that Bo has Hope’s lipstick on his collar and questions why she can’t have her own fun. Bo adjusts his collar to hide the lipstick, not wanting to have what he and Hope do play into this situation. Hope tells Bo to take his own advice and mind his own business. Hope says goodnight and goes into their bedroom, slamming the door behind her. Patrick tells Bo to deal with his own problems.

Hope & Bo’s bedroom:
Hope is furious that Bo embarrassed her. Bo still believes that Patrick is bad for Billie and Hope questions whether Bo feels this way because he thinks that no man is right for Billie except him. Bo doesn’t want to talk about that again. Hope defends Patrick and Bo wonders why Patrick has all the women in Salem adoring him. Hope fears that Bo’s overreaction tonight is proof that he isn’t over Billie.

John’s penthouse:
Belle maintains her faith in Shawn’s word despite Kate and John’s attempts to convince her otherwise.

Shawn’s loft:
Shawn claims that he is doing this for Belle and for Philip and Rex questions whether it is so Belle can break Philip’s heart the second he comes home. Rex accuses Shawn of feeling guilty and trying to redeem himself. Shawn vows that he would risk his life for Belle. Rex notes that that is exactly what Philip is doing right now but Shawn tries to make Rex feel guilty by asking how he’d feel if Philip died and he sat there doing nothing to help.

Outside of Alice’s Bar:

Mimi swears to Stan that Jan’s fall was an accident and offers to go into Alice’s Bar right now and tell the cops everything. Stan taunts Mimi by adding that she’d have to tell them about the blackmail threat that could have pushed Mimi to try and kill Jan. Mimi yells at Stan to stop but he persists. Stan points out that the cops will notice that Mimi is now missing a fingernail and will send her straight to death row.

Hope & Bo’s guest room:
Patrick feels that being with Billie tonight was a mistake but Billie doesn’t think so. Patrick suggests that Hope is jealous of Billie for stealing Bo’s attention. Patrick asks Billie to be truthful about whether she brought him back here to make Bo jealous.

Hope & Bo’s bedroom:
Hope accuses Bo of acting like a jealous husband to Billie. Bo and Hope argue about Patrick’s intentions. Hope and Bo then argue about how Bo treats Billie and would run off to anywhere at a moment’s notice to help her. Hope insists that Bo got upset tonight because Billie was with any other man, not just that she was with Patrick and accuses Bo of still having feelings for Billie.

Shawn’s loft:
Rex’s last ditch attempts to convince Shawn not to go after Philip still don’t work so Rex agrees to help Shawn under one condition.

John’s penthouse:

Kate is more afraid of losing Philip because of the close bond they share. Belle and John assure her that they won’t give up on finding Philip. Belle says her goodbyes and leaves the penthouse. John considers taking another dose of pain medication while Kate’s back is turned and fears he’s been caught when Kate tells him not to.

Outside of Alice’s Bar:
Stan taunts Mimi by describing exactly how it feels to be put to death. Mimi questions how Stan could know so much about that feeling because the only one who could be so descriptive is Sami. Mimi wants to know who Stan is but Stan brushes off the question as he continues to taunt Mimi about going to death row. Stan stands close behind Mimi as he pretends to dote on her and Mimi brushes him off, vowing not to go to death row. Stan then thinks that it’s now Kate’s turn for revenge.

John’s penthouse:
Kate admits to John that she considered letting him take the drugs earlier if it meant helping save Philip. Kate feels bad that she asked John to risk his own life when he has children of his own who need him.

Penthouse hallway:
Belle heads for the elevator as she hopes that Shawn really is telling the truth.

Shawn’s loft:
Rex agrees to help Shawn only if he promises not to go off on his own if Rex deems things too dangerous. Shawn refuses to make that promise until he knows what they are up against. Rex sighs.

Hope & Bo’s guest room:
Billie insists that she didn’t bring Patrick here to make Bo jealous but Patrick doesn’t believe her. Patrick finishes getting dressed and tells Billie that she must work out her problems with Bo before they ever think of making love again.

Hope & Bo’s bedroom:
Hope tells Bo that the only way to prove that he is over Billie is to hire someone else to help Billie find Georgia. Bo refuses to do that. Hope tosses Bo a pillow and blanket and sentences him to the couch tonight, not wanting a man in her room who is obsessing about another woman. Bo quips that Hope is the one obsessing about another woman. Hope is convinced that Billie is enjoying being in their house and coming between them as she holds the door open for Bo to leave. Bo steps out into the hallway and Hope slams the door on him.

Bo & Hope’s hallway:

Bo is standing in the hallway, holding the pillow and blanket as an obvious sign of being kicked out of his own bed when Billie opens her door to say goodbye to Patrick. Patrick leaves. Billie takes one last look at Bo and then shuts her own door.
