Katie tells Donna that perhaps she can help her if she shares a little more information about the adoption. Donna laments perhaps it is just another Donna Logan that is the mother. But if it is true and she is his mother, she wants to know him too. Katie asks where did she give birth? It was right there at St. Joseph’s in L.A. Katie tells her to go on into the office and she will make some phone calls.

At Forrester’s, despite everyone being super busy and wanting to get on with it, Eric says they will not start the meeting without Donna, she is part of this team. Felicia snips perhaps her priorities have changed now that she is lady of the manor. Eric has to remind all of his kids that this company would still be owned by Nick Marone if it hadn’t been for Donna. Ridge realizes it is really wonderful that Forrester Creations is back in their hands where it belongs, but now they need to focus on the volume and profits. And Brooke thinks Donna should be a part of that. In the short time she’s been here, she’s contributed a lot. Thorne asks – what besides tension? Felicia quips and her sophisticated fashion sense. Brooke replies, “oh, my goodness. I see somebody took their nasty pill this morning.” Eric admonishes them again. This is his company and Donna is his wife and they will respect her. Ridge is the first to voice that he doesn’t think Donna has a really valuable position in this company.

Donna walks in and apologizes for being late. Felicia says now they can get started unless she has other places she needs to be, don’t let them keep her. And if she doesn’t have her papers handy, then she is just wasting all their time. Eric starts about the holiday collection, but Ridge interrupts. He addresses it to Donna that their dad has asked them to respect her. He needs to say what is on his mind and the least he can do is be straight with her. She was late and unprepared. He states he doesn’t believe she belongs at Forrester Creations. Her sisters, yes, but not her. His own mother, absolutely, but Donna no. All she’s done is brought negative publicity to the company. Brooke points out that they are forgetting who inspired Eric for his most successful collection – Donna. Ridge answers that was one collection, but where are they headed now? Eric states that the entire company looks to them for leadership. They set the tone. However they treat Donna, the rest will follow suit. Felicia says they all respected their mother, but she is gone and they all know why.

Eric says their mother’s mistakes ended their marriage. Thorne clamors those were mistakes they could have worked through if it hadn’t been for Donna. And Ridge wants to know about his dad. How about his mistakes? Everybody in the industry saw him standing naked out on the ledge outside of his little love nest. He thinks Forrester Creations should be above that. Eric states that if he has shamed this company or this family it is because they all have, including their mother, forced him to hide his feelings. Well that is gone and finished. Everything has changed. Donna is now Mrs. Eric Forrester….no more secrets, no more lies, and no more garbage from any of them. They will be civil to everyone in his company and that includes his wife. He huffs when they are ready to do that, let him know. Until then, this meeting is adjourned.

Eric tells Donna that he’s fed up with Ridge, Thorne and Felicia, how they are acting and talking. She tells him she doesn’t much blame them, every place they look she seems to be in their face. He says then they need to deal with it in some other way. He’s tired of them being such spoiled brats. She wonders for the sake of the company if she should just make a graceful exit? He tells her to just stop it….all that talk about scandal and what might have happened in the past. He guarantees her that does not matter to him or to anyone outside the company. He vows he has complete faith in the woman he married. She kisses him and wants him to know that she never wants to disappoint him. He assures her she couldn’t even if she tried.

Marcus asks to see Mrs. Forrester. The receptionist tells Donna. She tells Eric she is interviewing for P.R. people to fill in for Katie. Can she use his office? He replies yes as he has another meeting and will be gone for at least an hour. He doesn’t see Marcus as he leaves. Donna invites him in. He remarks he wasn’t sure she would see him. She says it’s good he stopped by as she did not know how to get in touch with him. He’s surprised that she would want to. He had told her he might not see her again, and he thought she was okay with that.

Ridge tells the others that he knows they are busy, but this can not wait. Brooke wants to know how insulting he’s going to be so she can prepare herself. Felicia pipes up that except for Brooke they all seem to be in agreement that Donna has no place in the company. Brooke states she thinks they are being unfair. She even chastises Ashley as not being part of the family, and why is she even here? Ashley says actually she is head of the cosmetics department and Ridge asked her to be here. Felicia says if their dad insists that Donna work there, why can’t she take over Aunt Pam’s job as receptionist? Thorne adds before anyone suggests her for shipping and receiving, he doesn’t need that headache. Brooke offers she is surprised someone didn’t suggest scrubbing floors and cleaning toilets. Ridge reminds her this is not a vendetta, strictly business. “If you feel that Donna has any area of expertise that would help lead and guide this company, please enlighten me, because I am not seeing it.” And he goes on to say that Rick has also worn out his welcome. Brooke gasps, this is ludicrous. What is this, attack Brooke’s family day? Felicia adds that she knows who does need to be here, her mother, and not answering to the likes of Donna Logan.

Donna asks Marcus if he has any proof? He asks does he need it? Because if she never had a kid, then she wouldn’t have to ask him that. So has she? Katie calls at that moment and realizes Donna can’t talk much. But Katie has some answers or a way they might find them. Donna tells her they will be right over. Donna tells Marcus they need to discuss this more, but not here. Fine, he will meet her.

Brooke says since they are all being so candid here, she is shocked they would verbally attack her sister, especially Ridge. Ashley assures her he is only saying what the rest are thinking. Should Eric have given Donna such an important role? Ridge agrees with Ashley, Brooke is being very biased here. She maintains she is only trying to support her family which seems to be falling apart at the moment. He tells her she will always have a place in the company, Katie too, but Donna is not a good fit, never has been. Felicia smarts that if her dad wants to spend all of his time with Donna, groovy, but just not here. Ridge agrees, as painful as it might be, they need a new leader. Thorne agrees, and their dad could go out on top. Ridge asks Ashley for her input. She admits she would hate to lose his design talent, but she has to say she doesn’t have much confidence in his management skills at the moment. Felicia tells her to go ahead and say it. Their dad hasn’t been thinking much with his brain lately and it won’t be easy to ask him to step down. Brooke says she is a Logan, should she start looking elsewhere too? Ridge tells Brooke not to be so defensive, she is a Forrester, not a Logan. She is the mother to three Forrester’s so that would be a yes. She says yes, but if he takes a stand against her family, he’s taking a stand against her too.

Katie mentions to Donna that she can’t believe Marcus just showed up at the office like that. Donna agrees and especially now that Eric’s kids are on a rampage again. Katie confides she doesn’t have much information. The records are sealed, but if both parties want to open them, it is possible. The doorbell rings and Donna gets it. She invites Marcus in, who immediately says “nice place.” She introduces him to Katie. He remembers her from the service the other day. He offers that he is sorry about her brother. He turns to Donna and states that before she hustled him out of the office, he had asked her if she ever had a kid? She says she knows it looks like she wasn’t being straight with him, but she had her reasons. Rather sour, he says, “is that a yes or a no?” Finally she says yes she has had a baby….a baby boy, about his age. It was so long ago, she never thought she would see him again, so how would she know it was him? He remarks if she hadn’t been in such a hurry to get him out of her mansion, she would have had her proof. What does she remember about that birth?

Crying, she says it was early morning. There was a beautiful sunrise coming through the window. It was about 5:30….and it was a gorgeous morning, July 9th. Marcus pulls out a document from his pocket and hands it to her. It’s his birth certificate, before his adoption. She looks it over – Baby Logan, July 9th, 5:37 a.m. She looks at him, sobbing she puts her hand on his face and then gives him a big hug. “Oh my God, oh, my God, it’s true. You’re my son….my son.”
