The Logans commiserate that things are looking up finally with the way they are sticking together. Storm hopes they will keep him abreast of everything from now on, not after the fact. And surprisingly, Brooke is the one lone voice in the wilderness asking for no more animosity against Stephanie. If Eric has really left her, she will no longer be an issue. Storm asks if she really thinks Eric is going “to pull the trigger?” He’s tried to leave her before and she’s always managed to reel him back in.

Eric walks in and is surprised to find them all there. They immediately grill him about any details concerning his telling Stephanie. Donna greets him with a kiss and of course wants to know what he told Stephanie. He takes delight in recounting to her that he told Stephanie their marriage was over and his future was with Donna. They are all shocked that she would accept this. He says it was not well, she was devastated. Donna pouts that he has a right to be happy, and he will never regret this decision.

Ridge finds Stephanie in the Forrester Showroom. She knows she is not supposed to be there. He wants to know if Eric found her and did they talk? She regales how Eric wants out of the marriage and she is not surprised. She has no one to blame but herself. She has apologized to Brooke over and over, but the truth is it doesn’t matter if she is sorry, what happened can’t be undone. She remarks how it’s funny, she has always been able to repair any of her mistakes….until now. These were supposed to be their golden years…their reward for all the hard work and dedication…well at lest Eric was getting his. She wonders if it is too late to repair hers and Ridge’s relationship?

Stephen walks in just as Donna suggests they celebrate. Guess that will have to wait since there is work to do. But she happily gloats to her dad that tomorrow there will be plenty to celebrate as Eric is going to tell the world on stage how he feels about her. Eric gives a semi-speech about how their families have been intertwined for years, even before Storm was born. Not all of it pleasant, but they have a chance after tomorrow to put that bad blood behind them. This showing could be the start of a whole new era for Forrester Creations. He remarks how Brooke has always been a part of Forrester’s and now Donna and Katie and he would welcome the opportunity for Storm to join them as well as part of his legal team. Storm quips no hard feelings, but he did enjoy working for Nick Marone and sticking it so to speak to Eric.

Stephen steps up and asks Eric, what about him? Doesn’t he have a job for him too? Sarcastically he adds…..maybe back in Paris? Eric offers that he realizes it might be a little difficult for Stephen to accept any olive branch from him. Stephen remarks what is really difficult is seeing his entire family gather around Eric and know that he has greater presence in their lives than he does. They grew up without him and suffered because of it and now he is back and trying to repair those relationships and damage done and here Eric is once again trying to take that away from him.

Ridge is non-committal to his mother and she reminds him that he can’t stay mad at her forever. Eric can divorce her, but she will always be his mother. He reminds her again that she is the woman who put the woman he loves in harm’s way. And she is still going through. Brooke may say she is okay and she may believe that herself when she is around him and the kids….but all it takes is some sound or someone innocently knocking on the door and she is right back there again. Stephanie may say she is sorry, but sometimes sorry is just not good enough. She concurs that forgiveness has to be earned, and he isn’t sure that right now that is possible. Stephanie assures him she is not going to interfere in his relationship with Brooke, but she also is not going to just disappear. She vows she is not going to crawl off in a cave or curl up in some snowstorm and die. But that is what Eric must thinks she will do with him parading Donna out….he thinks he will be putting Stephanie in her place and she won’t be able to face it…..the embarrassment, the humiliation, the press. He thinks she won’t come tomorrow if he marches that little tart across the stage. Ridge tells her it will be a mistake if she shows up tomorrow. She says she will stay in the background. His parting words, “Mother, it’s a bad idea. If you come to that showing tomorrow, you’re gonna regret it.”

Congenially, Eric asks Stephen to please not misunderstand him. The Logan family has made huge contributions to the success of this company, and he just wants to give them the respect they deserve. And the same respect he will give to him if he will just come aboard. Stephen says he hopes Eric will forgive him for being wary of Forrester’s bearing gifts. Brooke thinks it sounds like a generous offer. Stephen says he does not need a job. She reminds him this is not just about business, but about two families coming together and getting past their troubled history and making something good come out of it. That is what she has always dreamed about, the kind of connection that Ridge has with his family. They have spent a little too much time trying to bring Stephanie down, and they need to focus on something a little more positive. Eric urges Donna to take her family down to the showroom and show them what they can expect tomorrow. How they will show the world that the crisis and turmoil in this building is finally over.

Stephanie tells Ridge she is coming tomorrow regardless of the legalities. He asks will she cause a scene? She replies no, she founded this company with his father. She’s been there since the beginning and yes it is his father’s moment, but this time he wants to share it with Donna. But it’s not just his triumph, it’s Thorne’s, Felicia and Ridge’s and she’d like to applaud their success when they take their bows. He thanks her but says he thinks they could be just as happy if she applauded them from some spa somewhere. She promises that she is not going to fall apart because his dad is fawning over another blonde. She’s been through this more times than she can remember. This is Eric they are talking about and he is addicted to the grand gesture. And she knows this is not the last time she will have to endure this kind of public display on his part. They part with a hug and her saying she just has to be here.

Ridge goes to his Dad’s office to hear his side of it. No champagne, no confetti. Eric says it wasn’t like that; he and Ridge’s mother have been together a long time. She’s a hard woman to leave. Unfortunately, she’s even more difficult to live with. They had ended their marriage before, but this time it feels different.

Stephanie is alone in her thoughts when the entire Logan clan marches into the room and she makes her presence known. Donna asks straight out what in the hell is she doing here? Stephanie dishes it right back, what is SHE doing there? Ridge thinks perhaps it is because Stephanie has never accepted the blame before. Eric also says she has never given him the last word before. He was kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop. But that doesn’t mean he’s regretting his decision. His future is with Donna, he is sure about that. Stephanie may not believe that, that he loves Donna, but he knows how he feels. Can he count on Ridge for his support? Ridge hesitates, but finally says yeah he has it. Eric thanks him, it means a lot to him. All of them coming together, the Logan’s and the Forrester’s. It’s been a battleground before, but tomorrow it can all come together…...it’s a new day for Forrester Creations and they are going to make this company something it has never been before. And he’ll be sure the Logan family will get the respect and acceptance that Stephanie never gave them before.

Donna announces that Stephanie has been banned from the building so for Katie to go call security. Stephanie tells her she may not be part of the company right now, but it is still a part of her. “Boo hoo,” chides Donna, just go home, they have work to do. Stephanie declares she will be at the showing tomorrow…..does Donna really think there is anyone in the building who can keep her out? Donna doesn’t want her there to ruin hers and Eric’s day. Stephanie points out that she belongs there. Donna says no, she no longer is the matriarch of the family, just the jealous ex-wife. Stephanie has to remind her they aren’t divorced YET! Donna can’t imagine why she’d want to be there tomorrow when she already knows what Eric is gonna do, announce to all that they are in love. Stephanie scoffs, in love alright, she is in love with his money and his fame. She really doesn’t give a darn about him or what this announcement will do to the company, “my company…..our company.” Donna persists that Eric wants to celebrate with everyone in this room except her….he wants the Logan’s to be as much a part of Forrester Creations as his own family. Stephanie answers, “Over my dead body.” (that probably can be arranged).

Brooke steps in and tries to be the voice of reason by asking Stephanie not to make this more difficult than it is. Tomorrow is Donna’s big day and Eric has made his decision. Stephanie needs to respect that; she needs to respect herself. Stephanie steps closer and tells her that she won’t interfere in her life if Brooke won’t interfere in hers. Stephen also steps forth and tells her just leave his family alone. Eric doesn’t want her here and neither does anyone in his family. Stephanie mocks ~ what will he do – throw her off some balcony? She belongs here; she helped found this company and she’s always been there for her children, unlike some people, and tomorrow they will be there for her. And she states she will do the hell what she wants to do. Stephanie smiles like a Cheshire cat as Stephen shakes his finger in her face and laments that not this time…..she’s gotten away with it far too long. She has belittled his children and caused them pain….and he’s warning her….don’t come to this showing and don’t try to disrupt Donna’s moment tomorrow…..”because if you try, I WILL stop you!”
