Taylor tells Nick that she understands his anger at the Forrester’s, the way they have treated him and his mother, but the way he is talking about them now……He confides he has made a lot of enemies lately and probably will make more, and it would just be good to know he had someone other than his mother in his corner. With Nick pressing just a little too close, she tells him that she is engaged to Thorne. He says he knows that. She says they have talked about this before. Their friendship is a little complicated. He remarks only if they complicate it by what other people think. She replies it is going to be hard to ignore other people’s concerns. He warns her they just won’t let other people’s concerns get in their way of having what they have. As he leans further toward her and she doesn’t respond, he pulls back and says - which is fun. They have fun together. She jokes – therapy was fun for him? He says well they could have fun. There is potential for fun. She’s not sure. Up to now their conversations have been pretty serious. Suddenly he asks her to go to Chuck’s with him. For lunch…they can relax…….get away from all of this and split a bucket of wings? That's fun, she asks? He answers other than the indigestion. Come on, no one can say anything about two friends having lunch.

Phoebe catches up with Thorne and asks if he knows where her mother is? She and Ally are going for ice cream and thought she might like to go. Ridge quips yeah, if Captain Bligh doesn’t kidnap her first. Thorne suggests he stop talking like that. Ridge says he did it once before – took Brooke and R.J. and Hope to some deserted island. Brooke tells him Nick just took them camping, and she forgot to call Ridge. Thorne tells Phoebe her dad is just trying to get his goat, but it’s not working.

A knock at the door and it’s Arthur Harrison who comes in and remarks he likes the new place. Ridge can’t wait to tell him they are hotter than hot. He also introduces him to Phoebe. Arthur quips that he believes he really is keeping it all in the family. Is R.J. licking stamps down in the mail room? They share some information about his late father and how tough it’s been for his sisters and with him taking over the company, big shoes to fill.

Nick drags Taylor into Chuck’s. She seems to remember the last time they were here. It wasn’t the best of times for either of them. He ceremoniously wipes off the peanut hulls from the table and says just look at them now. She says yeah they are moving on up in the world. He’s on a rampage for revenge and her wedding is indefinitely on hold because his fiancée's daughter hates her guts for killing her mother. Yeah, they are doing great. She’s not sure a bar was a good idea. He reminds her she is not supposed to say that until after she has had the wings. He tells her to grab a chair and he’ll order. He asks for a bucket of wings and two cola’s. She asks for a lime with hers. And then starts in that he says he has given up the sea and he’s a new man, but he’s still really comfortable in a place like this. He tells her no, no, no, they aren’t going to do this. They are finished talking about him. They are here to talk about her. She remarks that he knows her, but he insists she tell him something he doesn’t know. Anything. Just relax, kick back. Maybe she ought to stop being that doctor for a while and just be that person she doesn’t let anybody see.

Arthur’s flight has been cancelled and he can’t get another one out until tonight. And his daughter has a recital at her school. Ridge says that is too bad, but their jet is in Chicago. He knows how important being with his family is right now since the divorce. He’s sorry to hear about him and Chrissy. Arthur says thanks but he doesn’t feel right complaining after all their family has gone through. He tells Thorne he is sorry to hear about Darla and he hopes Thorne and Taylor will work everything out. Ridge laments they are all making a fresh start here at Forrester Originals….the family is on the upswing and they’d like him to be part of it. Arthur asks if he is going to propose to him too? Brooke and Ridge laugh and she assures Arthur that wasn’t a publicity stunt. They really are getting married. She snuggles up to Ridge who plants a kiss on her cheek. She cites a renewed enthusiasm and zest for everything. Add to that the passion that made their first company so great and “you my friend will have the most profitable thoroughbred in the stable.” Arthur says he doesn’t have to sell him; Ridge can count on the Harrison’s. They are anxious to show his new line.

As they are chomping down on buffalo wings, Taylor confides to Nick that she can’t believe she is spilling her guts and telling him all of this. And he admits he had no idea that she was married before Ridge. She says it wasn’t one of her more brilliant choices. He encourages her to talk about her childhood. Was it that bad? She remarks almost as bad as these wings. He says he remembers Brooke mentioned her father; how he adored her. She acknowledges that and she adores him too. And she has a little brother. Her mom died when she was young and her dad had a gambling problem. So she took care of things, they were pretty chaotic in her house. He thinks he understands, then enters the stalker who becomes he husband and promises to take her away from everything. He thinks that explains the whole psychiatric thing. She just wants to help people out, take care of their problems, addictions, and make their lives perfect. It makes sense now to him. So, he thinks he has her all figured out, she surmises. He says he thinks he is slowly putting together her little puzzle. He likes it and he wants to ask her something. She waits. He hesitates very seriously. Then says he would like to know – if she’d like another another bucket of wings? He ordered a medium because he didn’t want to scare her…..but…….he likes them hot….really hot. Does she think she can handle that? She laughs and throws a wadded up napkin at him while making a face. She tells him to bring it on. Nick questions, “you sure you want to cross that line?” She offers that she wouldn’t say yes if it wasn’t something she wanted to do. He says okay, but if it is too much for her to deal with, and she doesn’t think she can handle it, don’t say he didn’t warn her.

The men shake hands and part. Ridge tells Brooke that it’s too bad about Arthur and Chrissy, but Brooke claims maybe they’ll get back together as they did. He points out that not all couples are as lucky as they are. She agrees with that and it does seem like the stars have been on their side lately. And the meeting with Arthur couldn’t have gone any better. Now they have two distributors in the bag – Harrison and Fenmore and the others will jump on board very soon. Feels like old times. Speaking of old times, he brings up when they were starting out at Forrester’s, with BeLieF….man they were on fire. She remarks it’s getting pretty hot in here right now. He reminds her they do have the place to themselves. She flirts and coos and he says that it would be a shame to let the location and the opportunity go to waste. She agrees; he wants to christen the new office. He maneuvers her closer to the desk and hikes her upon it. She says it’s a deal!

As Nick is gulping down the water, Taylor informs him these wings aren’t that hot. He chokes that she is tough. She has to fill him in that she used to live in Morocco for a while and she got a taste of exotic spices. He quips he thought she was in a coma. She says she was and starts to tell, then stops and says it wasn’t important, doesn’t matter. She asks if he knows about Prince Omar. That was another man who was obsessed with her. And actually she should be grateful to him, because without him she would have died and not seen her children grow up. That was the only reason she wanted to come home. Her babies – they will always be babies to her. She can’t believe Thomas is in college. And Steffy overseas. And she’ll be alone soon as Phoebe grows up and leaves the house. She laughs what did Chuck put on these wings, some truth serum? She’s embarrassed as she is going on and on about herself. She assures her that he’s really listening and she sure can get into it. He really liked the prince part where he comes in, swoops in and saves the damsel in distress. He does like that.

He gets a cell phone call that he must take. It’s Arthur Harrison who mentions that it sounds like Nick is trying to fill up his voice mail. Nick asks if they can arrange a meeting while he’s in town? Mr. Harrison tells him no way, his flight was cancelled and he’s heading to L.A.X. now to make another flight. Nick gives him his word that he will make the flight and to see his daughter’s recital. Just meet him at the airport and he’ll call later with details. Disappointingly, he tells Taylor that he has to go. If she doesn’t mind, he’ll call her a cab. She dismisses that and says she has an account with a car service. It’s no big deal. Awkwardly, she thanks him and says it was fun and he agrees. They both look back at each other and seem to find it hard to part.

When she gets home, Phoebe grills her. First she tells her she took Ally out for ice cream. She did not ask for Taylor. Phoebe just thought she might like to go, but she couldn’t get her on the phone. Where was she? Taylor admits it was no big deal but she was out for the afternoon with Nick. Their companies are competing but it’s nothing personal. Phoebe still doesn’t understand, if she is not treating him, why even talk or spend time with him at all. She asks if there is something going on between them?

Ridge and Brooke snuggle on the couch and he confesses he has wanted this for so long,‘connecting’ personally and professionally. She says it is almost perfect. Almost? She answers yes this feud with Nick. She has to agree with Taylor. She doesn’t want it to get ugly. He contends that it is Nick’s feud. It doesn’t have to affect them. She answers but it could if he sues them for using the Forrester name. He scoffs that Nick is busy enough just keeping his boat afloat. If he was smart, he’d raise the white flag before he becomes embarrassed. He’s outmatched and outgunned, so there is really nothing he can do to hurt them.

Nick greets Harrison on the plane he has arranged to take him home in time. Arthur figures he must want to talk to him pretty badly. And he assumes it is about Harrison continuing to carry Forrester Creations. Nick says he is the biggest haute couture on the west coast. Harrison agrees but that doesn’t mean they have enough space to accommodate everybody. He admits he just met the Forrester’s and he has agreed to handle the Forrester Originals. Nick says that is one choice; he has another one to offer. Harrison says he appreciates his position and his help today, but he can’t afford any brand confusion. Nick tells him that he’s not asking him to buy. He clears his throat and says he is the one who wants to buy. He announces he would like to buy Harrison Boutiques. Harrison utters that his company is not for sale. Nick gloats that everything is for sale, if the price is right. He hands him a document and says here’s his offer. Arthur takes it and looks at the bottom line. He remarks that Nick has just sank all of his assets into the purchase of Forrester Creations. Does he even have this kind of capital? Nick states they are both busy men, “Art, let’s not waste each other’s time.” He wants to buy his boutiques. Something tells him that he wants to sell. It’s time to make a deal.
