Same night continuation of Wednesday’s Episode:

At the beach house, Nick and Bridget lay cuddled on the bed, in each other’s arms like a spoon. He asks if they can’t just stay like that for the next five months until the baby is born – his daughter. He can’t quit saying it. She wants to know if he might be disappointed that it’s not a boy? Emphatically, he says no, of course not; sugar and spice and everything nice, as he kisses her again. Nothing is going to be too good for this little princess….. or her mom.

She giggles but turns serious and asks if he can manage on his own for a little bit? There is something she needs to go do. He says no problem, but then grabs her again when she tries to get up and kisses her again. A second time – this time he says it’s separation anxiety and lays another one on her. A third time; she giggles. Isn’t there something else he could be doing? He replies he’ll go to The Marlin and get his things, and start moving in; for her to not be long! So she slyly slides out of bed but not before he gives her one last pop on the backside and she squeals.

At Forrester, Basement Glamour, Eric shows Brooke some of his latest sketches and she thinks it’s the best he’s done in years. Eric makes a dig about Stephanie sticking them down in that dingy office, but she can’t take away what really counts. Brooke acknowledges that she really is inspiring him. He vows that she and Ridge and himself are going to come up with a line that will knock Stephanie’s dreams right off the runway.

Thorne shows up and tells his Dad he feels badly. Here’s the man down here, the man who built Forrester Creations, down in the basement. Eric states that he lived with Stephanie over 40 years. Is there anything she can do that will surprise him? And he’s just sorry that Thorne is stuck in the middle. He gives him a hug. Thorne says they have to find a way though to stop all the bickering. No more manipulating, no more lying, all of it. No more ambushes, no more surprises. Eric looks at Brooke, like that might be a tall order!

Felicia is sipping a drink on The Marlin, almost ready to rest her head as she hears someone, should be Nick returning. He comes in and throws his keys down and she blindsides him by saying, “hello, Sailor.” He jumps, completely surprised and asks what is she doing there; how did she even get in? She tells him she jimmied the lock. “A Forrester – jimmying the lock, go figure.” She gets up and approaches him and says she is the black sheep of the family – baa. He asks how is she doing, as he hugs her. He asks again, how does she feel; how’s the cancer? She says fine, nothing that a little California sunshine won’t take care of. And just look at her, as she twirls around, what does he think?

He tells her he e-mailed her and he really doesn’t do that much. But, she didn’t return it, he was a little surprised about that. She asks did he think she had forgotten about him? He replies no, just that she was breaking hearts all over Europe and didn’t have time. Rather mysteriously, she says she’s been busy and her life has changed in amazing ways. “But, I haven’t forgotten about you, Nick.” And she adds that one of the reasons she came back was to see if the salty, bachelor sailor had pulled up anchor and gone back to sea….. or if he was interested in re-newing an old friendship.

Thorne says there must be a way they can all work together; the way Eric envisioned it when he started F.C. Eric points out that it is his mother; she’s not able to let go of her vindictiveness. Thorne also points out they have too much talent here to let this fall apart. There’s Ridge, Eric, Brooke, Dante and they as a family just can’t let that be thrown away, not even Mother. Eric replies that this is not going to be a battlefield forever. If Thorne can just keep them solvent, he’ll direct all his energies into the designs. He promises they’ll get everything accomplished. He tells Brooke it’s nice to see Thorne this way. He didn’t think he would. She’s staring at a recent picture of Bridget and Nick and isn’t focused on what he is saying. When he finally does have her attention; she says nothing is wrong, it’s something good. Nick and Bridget are back together. He does see that as being good and due to her; her willingness to step away. But, the way she ducks her head and avoids his eyes, he says he knows she is still in love with him, isn’t she? She replies she is very happy for them. But, Stephanie said something to her – that Bridget is never going to be able to forgive her for everything that has happened. And he knows that her relationship with their daughter means everything to her. He points out that Stephanie is just trying to hurt her.

In the midst of this, Bridget knocks on the door and comes in. She is glad she found them both there; she has something to tell them. She and Nick are back together…..totally, completely, happily back together. He thinks that is wonderful. She then fills them in on the little scare today with the baby; nothing to worry about though. ….with their granddaughter. Eric beams with joy and Brooke smiles that is wonderful. Eric says he is so happy for her and gives her a hug.

Felicia tells Nick she was even surprised to find him in port – Mr. Go Where The Wind Takes Me. He chuckles that things have changed a little bit. For one, he’s working at Marone Industries for his old man. But, enough about him, he wants to hear about her. Specifically, he wants to know what countries has she been tearing up? She remarks she has been in the south of France…living in a farmhouse….no e-mail, no TV, no phone, hard to believe. He snarls, “no limo?” She replies but she has a goat….not for riding, of course, but to milk – every morning at the crack of dawn. He laughs; this is a tough picture. The image of her milking a goat! And why would she leave milking a goat and come back to L.A.? She offers it was Taylor. She had offered her a job designing for F.C. He wonders if she knows what is going on over there? She rattles it off – Mom and Dad divorced; Dad re-marrying Brooke.

What’s up with that? He tells her it was a mistake. It was just wrong, so it ended. Felicia asks if he had anything to do with her calling it off? He tells her no. She asks how many times has Brooke been married? – 6, 12, 130, she can’t keep up with her. But, he on the other hand – a constant bachelor; no ties. She can’t even imagine him with a ring on his finger. She picks up his hand, and then says, “but, there it is.” The third finger of his left hand. She is sure there is some bizarre explanation, so hit her with it.

Eric holds Bridget’s little tummy and announces another incredible Forrester woman; this calls for a celebration, She reminds him that technically this is a Marone. He fires that is just a minor technicality and for her not to forget it. He hugs her again about how happy he is for all of them. He has to meet a buyer for a drink, so he’ll be going.

Bridget has a little mother-daughter talk with Brooke. She knows she must have some misgivings, but she would have been so proud of Nick at the doctor’s office today. Any fear or doubts she ever had, are just gone. (she cradles the baby bump again with both hands). With welling tears, Brooke tells her that’s all she ever wanted. For her to feel his love, have a family….She strokes her hair and asks shouldn’t she be home celebrating right now? Bridget tells her they have done some of that already. They’d had a really nice evening, but it didn’t seem complete until she’d shared it with Brooke. She tells her mom that she loves her and they both cry a little as they hug.

Felicia looks at Nick quizzically and says she realizes things have changed a lot around here, but is she on the right planet? He says it was a surprise to him too. Felicia remarks that SHE finally got her hooks into him. She should have seen it coming. She’d gone through all the Forrester men, so she had to find a new bloodline. He doesn’t know what she is talking about. She says, his wife, of course. He did marry Brooke? He informs her it was Bridget.

She can’t believe it – little Bridget? Brooke and Dad’s daughter, Bridget, her half-sister? Nick says yeah, he loves her. And what’s she doing with him, he doesn’t know. But, they’re happy and he’s going to do everything to keep it that way. She gets a little sniffly, and remarks she feels so stupid. She actually came back with this crazy idea that this sexy sailor that she fell for might consider settling down. And what do you know, for the first time in her life, she is right. Only a day late and a dollar short.

He goes to comfort her and she says she is okay, she just needs a minute unless she is in the way. He tells her no, not at all. He just came over to pack up some things and move into the beach house. She sniffles more and he takes her by the shoulders and tries to tell her their relationship meant a lot to him. She shrugs it off and says he doesn’t have to go there. He tells her it was very special and they both know it, but they’d both moved on. She gazes into his eyes and tells him she really is happy for him. Him and Bridget….what a concept! But, she would have thought that Bridget would move in there. She’d turned him into a real landlubber. He must really love her!

He eases into it; it would have been fine just the two of them, but they were expecting a baby. “A wife and kid, that sucks, Marone”, she says.

Bridget tells Brooke she is so glad she is the grandmother and that her little girl will have her to look up to (or perhaps reputation to live down). Brooke feels honored, after all her bad choices and betrayals. She doesn’t feel she deserves her forgiveness or love. Bridget tells her to just take it; it’s hers. If it makes it any easier, she doesn’t know sometimes how she feels that way either. Yes, her mother’s judgment leaves a lot to be desired at time, but she knows any scheme she comes up with is just to make things better. She has the biggest heart of anyone she has ever known. And she knows she has wandered down some pretty strange detour paths, but she also knows she is just acting out of love. And she ends by saying she just hopes and prays that she can give her little girl half - even half the joy and love that her mom has given her. And that she loves her.

Brooke goes to her arms for a hug and tells her again that she loves her too.

Felicia apologizes; she didn’t mean to hurt Nick. She just meant it’s a shame that he won’t have a couple of years together before starting a family. He can’t be thrilled with no honeymoon or adjustment period. He tells her he is happy just the way things are. He has Bridget and he is going to be a father to a little girl; they are having a daughter. She quickly gathers herself and tells him that is great. And maybe they can just forget she was even here today. If he could do her a really big favor and not tell anyone…it would completely blow her strong, independent woman thing, okay? She wipes her eyes. He tells her yeah, her secret is safe with him. She starts to go but he stops her and says The Marlin is there with no one using it, she’s free to stay as long as she wants. She thanks him, but says there are too many memories here. She will take one last hug if he has one. He touches her face, then envelopes her into his arms. She closes her eyes and clings.

The phone rings and she has to remind him to get it. He does, it’s someone from work and he says he will be right over. Felicia picks up her purse and coat – the purse falls and among other things we see falling out, she quickly picks up – a baby pacifier unnoticed by Nick.
