Griffin walks up to Kendall at the hospital. Kendall asks why he's not in Chile. He asks why she's at the hospital. She says her heart rate was up but she's fine now.

Ben tells Erica that Jane would destroy any recorder if he brought her one. Erica thinks it's a brilliant idea. Erica goes into the closet and pulls out a blue dress. She has a flashback to wearing it before she almost married Jack. Ben opens an application on the computer that is a recorder and tells Erica to begin. Erica says it's the title of her new memoir called Erica Kane Uncensored. She says she will reveal everything about her, no holding back but first wants some inspiration.

Amanda comes up to Cara at Krystal's asking about her test results. Cara says she doesn't have them yet. Amanda says she can't have an STD as JR arrives.

Ryan looks around David's office at the hospital. Angie enters with an assistant, saying she's early for her appointment. The assistant tells Angie to wait there till David arrives as Ryan hides behind the door.

David arrives at his hotel room to find Jane in his bed. He is surprised as he thought she was out of town at a spa. David thinks someone could've seen her and is worried about the risk. She tells him that she couldn't leave him and kisses him.

Erica continues to speak for her recorded memoir. She talks about her first three books. She says the first one is about making her dreams come true and then the next one was about her obstacles. Erica says now she wants to dig deeper and show the woman beyond her fame, a woman who was first a child who was hurt deeply.

Griffin checks Kendall's heart rate and says it's normal but wants to run some tests. Kendall doesn't think it's necessary. Kendall reminds him that he's not her doctor anymore. Griffin still wants to run tests and he wonders why her heart rate was up in the first place. She says she got worked up and doesn't know why. Kendall finally asks him why he's back in Pine Valley. Griffin says he missed his flight. Kendall thinks he didn't get on it. Kendall says she was pissed when she found out as he made Cara worry. Kendall doesn't understand why he's back. Griffin says there was no other flight leaving so they put him in the airport hotel and he sat around. Griffin says he thought about everything that's happened since he got there and everything he was leaving behind including unfinished things. Jake comes in and is glad to see Griffin is back. Jake asks how long he's sticking around. Griffin calls in some tests for Kendall as Jake talks to her. Kendall tells Jake that she's fine now but Griffin still wants to be overprotective. Griffin says the nurse will be in to draw her blood as he exits with Jake. Jake talks to him about having a problem with his replacement.

Amanda tells Cara that she has a business dinner with JR. JR gets a business call and steps away. Cara tells Amanda that she will call her as soon as she gets the results as she is going back to the hospital. Amanda makes sure with her that it stays between them. Cara agrees that no one else will be in her business. Amanda asks her about an STD. Cara thinks it could just be a mild infection. Cara exits and Amanda sits with JR. Amanda reaches in her bag to find a press release she brought but can't find it. JR thinks something's wrong and she's still sick. She insists she's fine but JR thinks she's lying and asks what Cara said to her.

David tells Jane that he'd love to jump into bed with her but thinks it's a huge risk. She tells him that she had to be with him. David says he wants to be with her but he doesn't want to risk her losing everything and that will happen if anyone suspects that she's not Erica. She says everyone's already suspicious that she spent the night there. David hopes that Ryan's spies didn't see her come in. She tells him to make love to her. David kisses her and tells her they can't do this now. David tells her that she has to leave. She thinks that he's kicking her out. David tells her that he has a very appointment at the hospital. David says that he'll check outside and make sure it's safe for her to leave. She tells him that she's important too and can't just be kicked out. She tells him that their night was her first time and it changed her. David tells her it meant a lot to him and that's why he's trying to protect her. Jane accuses him of using her and says he won't get away with it so she's going to make him pay. She threatens to destroy him if he treats her like this.

Ryan tries to sneak out of David's office but Angie detects him and asks who is there. Ryan admits it's him and she wonders why he's there. Ryan asks her why she's there. Angie tells him that she's trying to get her sight back and Ryan thinks she should've come with backup. Angie brings up David helping a lot of people and saving Greenlee's life. Ryan corrects her that he brainwashed Greenlee. Angie assures him he won't do that to her and asks why Ryan broke in to the office. Ryan tells her that he's looking for evidence on the hospital sale as he thinks that he's planning something big.

Amanda tells JR that she was just talking to Cara about family stuff. JR thinks it's about the pregnancy scare still. Amanda admits that it is and wants to talk about the press release now. JR assures her that no one will ever find out so they can move on. Amanda wants to get to work. JR says he's committed to Marissa and has started being honest with her. JR says he belongs with Marissa like Amanda does with Jake. JR tells her to relax as it will all work out. Amanda says she can't. JR wonders why since everything's fine. Amanda tells him that what happened between them may not be over. Amanda tells JR that she might have an STD.

Griffin returns to Kendall and tells her this is a big waste of his time. Kendall brings up his community service in Chile. Kendall asks him again why he came back since he never told her. Griffin tells her that he was thinking about his patients and that they were close to getting a patient out of the ICU. Kendall asks if that means he's leaving when the patient is better. Jake comes in with Cara as Cara excitedly greets Griffin. Jake tells them that Griffin is back on staff which surprises Kendall. Jake goes to finish his paperwork. Griffin jokes with Cara and she asks why he decided to come back. Griffin tells her it was the Lawrence case of one of his patients. A nurse comes in and tells Griffin that the patient is crashing so he rushes out. Cara comments that Griffin is so dedicated to his patients but that's not why he came back to Pine Valley. Kendall suggests she might be a small part of why he came back as she is a patient of his. Cara thinks she's upset. They joke about him and Cara tells her that the feelings are new for him. Cara thinks Griffin can't admit to himself that he feels that way as he's never been in a real relationship before. Kendall tells her that they aren't in a relationship and then she hurries out.

JR tells Amanda that she can't have an STD. Amanda tells him about the hospital exam finding something and she's waiting for results. JR wonders if she could've given it to him. Amanda tells him that if she has something, she got it from him.

Griffin runs into Cara and she tells him that Kendall left. Griffin says he should've seen that coming. Griffin asks if Cara thinks he should run after her and track her down. Cara tells him that coming back was a big decision that he made on his own and she walks off.

Angie is told that David will be delayed a little longer but she agrees to wait. Ryan thanks her for not telling on him. Angie tells him that she's as suspicious about David as he is. Ryan wonders why she's letting him be her doctor if she believes it. Angie says that David can work miracles and she wants her miracle so she can see her husband and children. Ryan wonders what cost it will take. Angie promises to beat David at his own game. Ryan continues searching the office and notices some hinges on the side of the wall. He unlocks what looks like a vent to be a locked safe and Ryan proclaims that it's one of David's secrets.

Erica continues speaking for the recorder. She talks about her mother being a very wonderful woman but her father was a monster. Erica says that her father did not love her.

Jane tells David to just admit he was using her. David instead admits that he's been very lonely and disconnected for a very long time. David asks if she has any idea what it's like to go through life with a family that thinks you're a monster. David thinks she knows what it's like which is why he believes they have such a powerful connection. David says that he's never felt closer to anyone in his entire life. David says that they understand each other on the deepest level so far beyond anything that he's ever shared with anyone including Erica. David tells her that he felt an intimacy and bond that he had never known when they made love. David claims that in a way it was his first time too. David tells Jane that he thinks he's falling in love with her and kisses her. Suddenly, Jack bangs on the door shouting that he knows David is in there and he wants to know what he's done to Erica.

JR tells Amanda that all he gave her was a job. JR says that he got tested after he was done with Annie and was completely clear. JR offers to show her the paperwork. Amanda believes him and thinks she'd be ok too since he's the only other person she's slept with. JR asks when she was last tested. Amanda says this was her first time so JR suggests it could go back further to David or Ryan's brother. JR tells her that if she gave him an STD, he could've given it to Marissa when they just got back together. JR wonders how she could do this to him. Amanda says they need to stay calm and wait for the test results.

Cara talks with Griffin some more at the hospital. She tells him she loves him but she's not the only one that wants him around and if he'd put the charts down he might see that. Cara kisses him on the cheek and walks off. Jake comes up and tells Griffin that he's officially reinstated but will have to switch his community service to Pine Valley. Griffin walks off without a word.

Ryan can't get the safe open without tools. Ryan hates to leave without finding anything. He looks through some boxes with files. Ryan reads the notes to Angie. Angie says they're just standard medical files. Ryan finds one marked PO and all he finds in it is a key card. Ryan looks at it and all the card says is Project Orpheus.

Jack enters David's room as "Erica" hides. David tells him that they just have a business deal. Jack shouts at him that she's tired of being worked so hard. David claims that he thought she went home after their work but guesses she had something better to do. Jack exits and Jane closes the door. She tells him that was close. David tells her to get Jack under control. She reminds him that she's "Erica Kane" so she can be with whomever she wants to be. David thinks them being a couple is a bit much for everyone and that it's too soon to reveal that they're more than just business partners since everyone thinks something's wrong already. She wants to risk it but David reminds her that she'd end up in jail. David tells her to get control of Jack and kisses her before she exits.

Erica continues speaking about her father and how he left her and her mother for Hollywood. Erica says her father always cheated on her mother and treated her like dirt but that wasn't even the worst thing he did. Erica states that she wanted to hate him and pretend he never existed but he couldn't. Erica thought she could find peace and bury the pain when he died as she was strong, successful, and independent, but somehow she felt she still needed her father but he didn't protect her. Erica says she knows it sounds crazy but she always expects him to show up when she's hurt or in trouble. Ben continues listening from behind the door as Erica talks about needing her father to tell her he cares and to rescue her.

JR tells Amanda that they're done working for today. Amanda says they never started but JR tells her it can wait. JR says he's going home to Marissa and AJ as she waits for her test results. JR tells her to rest and he exits. Amanda orders a vodka tonic while at Krystal's. Amanda gets a call from Cara. Cara tells her that her test results are in.

David comes to his office to meet with Angie. She says she's ready to continue treatment. David says he'll start with eye-drops and a shot that will dilate her eyes. David says he needs to take another skin sample. Angie asks what he'll be looking for in the retinal check. David says it'll be searching for the scarring from what led to her blindness. David tells her to take it one step at a time. She tells him not to patronize her as he led her to believe this was a slam dunk but now he's hedging his bets. David tells her that no medical procedures are slam dunks. Angie states that this one better be.

Kendall finishes a phone call with Spike, telling him to have fun at his sleepover. She sits down at home and then the door bell rings. Kendall answers the door and it's Griffin.

Amanda arrives at the hospital and almost runs into Jake as she goes to see Cara but she hides behind the wall. Jake tells Cara that he's going home. Cara tells him to have a good night and he walks off. Amanda comes out and asks Cara about the results. Cara tells her that she did test positive for an STD and it's HPV.

David tells Angie that she's lucky to even know the treatment exists. David states that he's offering her a miracle and she's throwing aggression at him. Angie tells him that she could threaten him. David begins to check her eyes. Angie tells him that she's a human being. David tells her that he is too. Angie states that she's trusting him with her eyes and in turn, he will give her back her sight. David asks if she still believes he can do it. Angie says she does despite everything he's done, she's put her faith in him.

Ryan searches Orpheus on his cell phone and looks at the picture he took of the Project Orpheus card from David's office.

Griffin comes into Kendall's and tries to talk to her, but she doesn't want to listen. Griffin puts his bag down and tells her that he came back for her. Griffin's bag shows that he also has a Project Orpheus card.

Erica continues speaking that being in this room makes her feel like she did when she was a child, alone and abandoned. Ben asks if she's alright and she turns away and smiles.

Jack leaves a message for Erica at home saying to call him back. "Erica" comes in and he asks where she's been and why she didn't return his calls. She walks up to him and tells him to make love to her.
