Jane tells David that Bianca is driving her bonkers. Calling her Jane, David advises her that Erica would never use that word. She tells him to never call her that because it's not her name.

Ben tells Erica she may have sprained her ankle. Erica thanks him for taking care of her and says she owes him. Ben says she doesn't. Erica wonders why he thinks he owes Jane and wants to know what happened on the terrible day he referenced. Ben tells her that he can't talk about it. Erica just wants to know why Jane is trying to take her life. Erica tells him that she's come to like and care about him. Erica thinks Jane is holding them both prisoner. Ben tells her that he's here because he wants to help her. Erica asks why and Ben says the accident. Ben apologizes and exits.

Cara starts doing Tad's hair and tells him about doing this for her mom all the time. Cara tells him about promising herself she'd never fall in love after her parents split up until she met Jake. Cara says she left Jake the same way her dad left her mom. Cara stops and calls herself insensitive for going on about Jake. Tad understands it's her history. Tad agrees with her that moving on is hard. Cara tells him that it helps having someone like him.

Angie tells Jake that she thinks going away together is a good idea. Angie tells him to turn into a big surprise trip of a lifetime for Amanda. Jake likes the idea and tells her he'll do it. Angie tells him to go get on it and he exits.

Amanda asks JR what she's supposed to do about Jake and Cara's lies. Amanda says Jake claimed he was working last night and never came home so she doesn't know what to believe anymore. JR tells her not to jump to conclusions. JR tells her to make sure Jake and Cara actually did something wrong.

Bianca looks at David and "Erica" talking and Marissa hopes David isn't causing trouble again. Bianca says she wants to know why they are spending so much time together and tells Marissa about "Erica" almost taking a drink. Marissa tells her she's sorry she has to go through so much. Marissa holds her hand and tells her to tell her how she can make things better. Bianca pulls away and tells her she can't.

David calls "Erica" jumpy and asks what's going on. She reminds him that he's blackmailing her and her family is lodged down her throat. She tells him about making a mistake with her weakness. David laughs it off and she tells him that Jack caught her about to take a drink and then she was stuck in an intervention. She says she's never felt so smothered in her life. David reminds her it's Erica's life not hers. "Erica" says all she wanted was the excitement, beauty, and glamour of Erica's life. David understands she wanted to be the celebrity and not the mother. David thinks being around Erica's daughters must bring back some painful memories for her. "Erica" says she remembered she has a meeting and rushes off. Bianca tries to stop her but "Erica" tells her they will talk later.

Marissa tells Bianca how she didn't know JR was even into comedy clubs but they laughed so much together. Marissa thinks Bianca doesn't want to hear about her love life. Bianca tells her she did ask her to distract her and comments that Marissa looks happy. Marissa tells her she is scared and happy. JR arrives and Marissa thought he had a meeting. JR tells her that he postponed it to hang out with her and hoped they could spend the morning together if she didn't have plans. Marissa tells him she and Bianca were in the middle of something but Bianca decides she has to go to a meeting. Marissa gets a call and steps away. JR thanks Bianca for making up a meeting and canceling the other night. Bianca asks what JR has planned. JR tells her that he has a picnic in the park with candle lights. Bianca tells him that sounds fancy but thinks Marissa wants simple. Bianca tells JR to get orange soda and donuts then sit on a bench and talk. Bianca tells JR that it's what her parents used to do. JR is surprised that Bianca knows more about Marissa than he does. JR thanks her. Bianca tells him she's not doing it for him.

Angie gets some files from a nurse as Amanda walks up. Amanda asks if she's seen Jake. Angie says she was just with him but he had to go to a meeting and said it will probably be awhile. Amanda hoped she could get a few minutes after he worked all night. Angie tells her to give it an hour and walks off. Amanda tells a nurse to have Jake call her after the meeting. She tells Amanda that Jake isn't in a meeting, he left the hospital. Amanda walks off to go find him and stops a nurse to ask if Cara is working but the nurse says Cara isn't working today.

Cara finishes Tad's hair and has it to a darker gray. Cara tells Tad that he looks hot and kisses him.

Cara comes home with muffins and coffee. Tad comes in and she gives him a muffin, telling him about how she just finished running. Tad wonders what time it is. Cara tells him it's time to get his hair fixed. Tad wants to know what's up with her first.

Angie talks with Jake at the hospital. Angie tells Jake that she's going to be in his place while he's gone with his family. Jake isn't sure if this is the answer.

Amanda comes to the Chandler Mansion. JR tells her that he canceled the meeting and has plans with Marissa. Amanda calls him lucky and tells him that she still has a problem in her marriage in Cara. JR reminds her that Cara is married to Tad. Amanda says someone should remind Cara of that and tells JR that she knows they are now lying to her.

"Erica" eats at Krystal's as Krystal comes up and asks if she wants anything. "Erica" complains about the food and Krystal walks away as Bianca arrives. Bianca tells her she's glad she ran into her. "Erica" asks her what's wrong. Bianca comments that eating fries is not really her. Bianca asks if she's feeling alright. "Erica" insists she is and wishes everyone would stop watching her as David arrives.

Erica sits on the floor in her captive room. She gets up and hurts her foot. Ben comes in and picks her up. Erica thanks him and hugs him.

Cara tells Tad to eat. Tad reminds her that he's a private investigator and knows something is off with her. Cara admits it's about Jake but not what he thinks. Cara tells him it's Amanda that was asking questions so she told her that she's never seen Jake at the clinic. Tad thinks she can still move on, it will just take time. Tad then asks her to fix him.

"Erica" returns home and David follows her. David tells her she must not have a meeting and that Erica likes to keep her business and personal lives separate. She tells David to get out and threatens to call security. David tells her that he did some research on Jane and the reconstructive surgery. She tells him she doesn't want to talk about it. David tells her that he needed to know everything about Jane if they are going to work together in the hospital. She tells him not to call her Jane. David states that she must miss the daughter that she lost in a car accident. David tells her that he was able to get the name of her plastic surgeon and he was surprised to learn it was the same one who worked on Erica after her car accident. David tells her that he also got his hands on her chart and found out she received internal injuries and it's a miracle she survived.

Ben tells Erica that it was a bad night to be out with snow, sleet, and rain and he was going to work when he should've stayed home but didn't want to lose the pay. Ben states that snow tires are useless against ice since he was coming around a curve and started sliding so he smashed right into Jane's car. Ben tells Erica that he walked away without a scratch but Jane's daughter was in the car and didn't make it. Ben says no one thought Jane would make it.

David tells her that he knew something traumatic had to make her do this. She calls him cruel and tells him that she's not Jane Campbell and that Jane died the night she lost her little girl.

Bianca tells JR that she's doing it for Marissa because she deserves to be in love and happy. JR says he's doing this to get it right. JR states that he should know the stuff she knows about Marissa. Bianca tells him not to forget it and that Marissa is really responding to JR which surprises her. JR states that it surprises him too but he regrets everything he did. Bianca says that he always regrets his mistakes but doesn't stop him from making more. JR tells her that he won't this time. Bianca promises to hurt him if he hurts Marissa again. Marissa comes back and JR asks if she's ready to go.

Cara and Tad talk about Tad's hair. They bring up Cara kissing him and Cara says she wasn't expecting fireworks but is glad it happened. Tad admits it was very nice but he doesn't want her to feel like she owes him. Cara insists she didn't do it because of Jake. Cara thinks Tad must be sick and tired of hearing about her problems with Jake. Cara says she knows she hung onto Jake but the night at the tent, she knew she had to move on and this is where she wants to be. Cara gets a message from the hospital and goes to change. She tells Tad she likes his hair, liked the kiss and likes him as she exits.

Amanda goes to the clinic tent and asks a doctor if he's seen Cara but he hasn't. She has a flashback to JR telling to make sure they've done something wrong. Amanda starts searching through the desks, files, and cabinets. She finds a button on the floor and recalls noticing that Jake was missing a button on his shirt then starts to cry.

David tells "Erica" that nobody else knows her information but him and that's how it will stay with their agreement. David asks her if it's helped being Erica Kane. She tells him that Jane Campbell was hideous and ugly her whole life that even her parents couldn't stand her. David asks if she had any other family or people who cared. She says no until she adopted Lydia and she loved her unconditionally with her whole heart. David comments that Lydia is a beautiful name. She tells him that Lydia was a beautiful girl and she just wanted her to have the life she never did but it was all ripped away. David asks why Erica Kane. She tells him that she's been Erica's biggest fan and she's always dreamed of being gorgeous like Erica. She tells David about wanting to go to a public appearance in New York to meet Erica but she didn't want to leave Lydia so she took her with her and got involved in the car accident. She starts to cry and tells him that she couldn't live with herself after the accident and that's when she became Erica Kane.

Bianca tells Krystal that she just missed Marissa as she went to the park with JR. Krystal comments that JR doesn't give up. Krystal tells her that she thinks JR is sincere. Bianca tells her that she's put JR on notice. Krystal tells her that Marissa is lucky to have Bianca.

Tad and Angie take a walk in the park with Lucy. Angie tells him about the possibility of her seeing again. Tad notes that it is David Hayward but she has to take the chance. Angie promises him she'll be careful. Tad asks her if she's talked to Jake lately. She says she did earlier today and asks Tad if he can keep a secret. Angie tells Tad that Jake's been talking about a vacation with Amanda to get back on track and now he's going to take her away on a surprise. Tad thinks there's too many secrets going around and sooner or later someone's going to get burned.

Jake tells Cara that he told Amanda he brought her a file out in the clinic tent. Jake tells Cara that he could never tell Amanda what happened between them because she'd be devastated. Amanda listens from around the corner looking sad.

Erica tells Ben that he has to let it out because she's just trying to help him. Ben tells her that she can't help him and no one can.

David tells "Erica" that he knows what it's like to lose a child. He tells her that he's lost two and it's like losing a part of yourself, the most important part, your heart. "Erica" cries and David hugs her.
