Jake is at the hospital and Amanda walks up to him wearing a Santa hat with a gift bag. Jake says he likes an early Christmas present. Amanda tells him to look inside and its' a case of cheese puffs. Jake says with all this he'll have to watch his eating at their holiday party. Amanda mentions she also invited Cara and Griffin.

Griffin returns to his hotel room looking for something. Cara walks into the room with Griffin's cell phone and asks if he's looking for this. Cara says it's rang about 10 times but it was all girls. Griffin tells her he's not a monk. She asks if the ladies know what is going on. Griffin says he's never led them on, he tells them he is passing through.

Kendall looks at the newspaper with Erica's charges on the cover. Kendall starts to feel sick as Ryan comes in asking if she has any more crayons. Ryan notices that she's dizzy and asks what's wrong. Kendall tells him not to touch her.

Greenlee tells Madison she knows that she's pregnant and that she was throwing up. Madison tries to deny it. Greenlee tells her that she saw her charts. Madison asks if that's even legal. Greenlee says she needs to know if she is going to tell Ryan that she's having his baby.

New Intro aired today.

Madison tells Greenlee to mind her business. Greenlee says it is her business so she should admit it and move forward. Madison admits it. Greenlee asks if she's going to let Ryan know. Madison asks how she knows Ryan's the father. Greenlee says she knows she loved Ryan. Madison says she did until Greenlee wanted him back. Madison admits the baby is Ryan's. Greenlee asks if she's going to tell him any time soon. Madison doesn't know and Greenlee offers to help.

Ryan wants Kendall to tell him what happened. Kendall says she was catching her breath and asks Ryan what he is doing here. He says he was upstairs with the boys and thought he'd stay around a little longer and help decorate. Kendall asks if he came over to decorate. Ryan asks if she doesn't believe him. Kendall says she does but sees the way he's looking at her, like he's checking up on her because he thinks she's completely lost it.

Amanda asks Jake if he's mad. Jake says he's surprised. Amanda says she was trying to be friendly. Jake asks with his ex wife. She points out that Jake didn't have a problem with Cara being at the hospital. Jake says its the holidays and this is a big hospital so they won't always see each other. Amanda says it's weird for her too to have Jake's ex wife. Jake asks why they are doing this. Amanda says they might as well make the best of it. Jake says he doesn't want to hang out with Cara. Amanda reminds him of peace on earth to all men and women. Jake says Cara is not back in his life. Amanda says she's in Pine Valley so she thinks she should make her a friend so they are going to have a lunch. Jake asks what she's doing. Amanda says they can get to know each other and share stories about Jake. Jake says he wasn't Jack Bauer, he was just a doctor. Amanda says she's already proud of him and hearing more stories about him saving lives can make him more awesome to her. Jake and Amanda kiss.

Cara tells Griffin that she's over Jake and he'd be perfect for the DWB job. Griffin reminds her that he said no. Cara says she won't take no for an answer because they need to help people in need. She says she came to Pine Valley to make the hard sell. She says part of her wished he was sad and lonely but he's moved on. Cara says she can't wait to get the papers cleared so she can get back to her job. Griffin points out that she took a job at the hospital with Jake. Cara tells Griffin to find her a different job. Cara remembers that Angie called her to come in and asks Griffin to give her a ride and suggests he change the first bedpan. Griffin agrees to give her a ride but says he has business to take care of at the Miranda Center. Cara jokes around that he won't be able to watch her and keep her away from Jake and leaves the room.

Amanda tells Jake she has to get back to the mall. Jake tells her he's not telling her what he got her for Christmas. They kiss again as Cara and Griffin walk up. Griffin quickly walks Cara by into another room. Cara says it was nothing and thanks Griffin for the ride. Griffin asks Cara what if Jake took the job. Cara says Jake is where he belongs and soon she will be too. Cara tells Griffin that he knows her better than anyone but sometimes she wonders if he knows her at all. Cara tells him to go save the world and she'll talk to him later. Cara goes back to Jake and says hi to him. Jake says hey and Cara says Dr. Hubbard asked her to cover a shift and she guesses Jake is on it too. Jake says he is and Cara asks if her working there is a problem for him. Jake says it isn't. Cara says she just wanted to be sure. Jake tells her it won't be a problem. Cara says it's cool. Jake says he should give her the rundown and then asks her about having lunch with Amanda.

Griffin arrives at Krystal's to meet Bianca. Bianca tells him to quickly learn the benefit of a schedule. Griffin tells her he has some places that are perfect for their outreach programs for the Miranda Center. Bianca stops him and asks if they should talk about finances and fundraising. He says that's her forte. She tells him that some of their donors have some concerns such as worrying about being involved with things that may set off alarm bells. She tells Griffin that they are worried about him.

Kendall tells Ryan that he's here to spy on her and make sure she doesn't lose her mind. Ryan reminds her that he's here for Spike and asks if it rings a bell. Kendall apologizes and says maybe she's being sensitive and has a lot going on and trying to stay up with Fusion and becoming more involved with the Miranda Center while also trying to be a good mom and give her a kids a good Christmas. She says it's not easy. Ryan says he knows. Kendall tells him he doesn't have to be on Kendall watch and that she's fine and not losing her mind. Kendall tells him she knows he wants to help and she would take him up on it but Spike has a play date. Ryan thought he just came home from one. Kendall says he has another one since he's on school break so she has to go get ready. She thanks him and walks off.

Madison asks Greenlee if she thinks she'd use the pregnancy to try and get Ryan back. Madison says she knows Ryan is with Greenlee now. Madison tells her that she's in total shock from being shot, she can't sleep or think straight and she isn't plotting her next move on Ryan. Greenlee informs her that the baby won't get Ryan back. Madison can't believe she thinks she planned this. Greenlee says it happens as women know the power of a baby. Madison asks what kind of person she thinks she is. Greenlee says Madison has admitted to lying and scheming in the past. Madison tells her that she has won and now she's coming at her with jealousy. Greenlee says she isn't trying to hurt her. Madison can't believe her. Greenlee says all she wanted was to start over with Ryan and now Madison's pregnant and everything's up in the air.

Cara tells Jake that going to lunch with Amanda was Amanda's idea. Jake knows that because that's how Amanda is. Cara says unlike her. Jake used to think Cara was that way. Cara says but she came her and didn't tell Amanda who she was and kept up a very old, hurtful lie. Jake asks if she's apologizing. Cara says he did once say she was the worst apologizer. Jake points out that she hates to admit when she's wrong about anything. Cara says that's not true. Jake reminds her of a time when they were driving in a jeep being close to the lake. They argue about the space in the car. Jake finishes saying that Cara is a terrible driver. Cara says he's a backseat driver. Jake says no apology and starts to walk off. Cara says I'm sorry Jake. Jake asks what she's sorry for. Cara says she's sorry for a lot, the way she left, lying to him about her brother and mostly for hurting him. Jake says that's better. Jake asks if she can do him a favor and make her lunch with Amanda brief. Cara says she'll get in and get out. Cara says she better get to work so she isn't canned on her first day and walks off.

Griffin asks if Bianca heard stories about him like he's a cowboy, doesn't play by the rules and march to the beat of his own ego. She notes that he also pisses off every official he comes across. He says he gets results so if he embarrasses some along the way, he's fine with that. Bianca tells him the Miranda Center is named after her daughter in honor of the struggle and pain she overcame bringing her into the world and it means more to her than he can ever imagine. She says Zach thought he could make a difference and now Zach's dead and she's here. Kendall walks in before she can finish and asks really, that easy?

Madison asks Greenlee if she really thinks she's a threat to her and Ryan. Greenlee doesn't think she's a threat but can't take Madison's word that nothing else is going on here. Greenlee says she put her faith in someone before and it was her worst mistake. Madison hopes she's not comparing her to David and tells her she's not out to ruin her life. Greenlee says she knows this will change things but she doesn't know how so they should stay away from each other. Ryan walks up and asks what is going on.

Griffin and Bianca stand up as Kendall asks if it doesn't matter that the whole Miranda Center idea was Zach's. Bianca and Griffin say that's not the case. Kendall says it's her project. She tells Bianca she's just as bad as Greenlee. Kendall tells them to let her take care of it and she will make the donors see what the project is all about. She continues talking and Griffin says he doesn't think she can do it. Kendall says she can and says no more meetings without her and she'll make any calls on Zach's behalf. Bianca offers to go with her but Kendall says no and she needs a walk.

Ryan asks if there's something he should know. Greenlee and Madison look at each other. Madison says they keep having the same fight, Greenlee's pissed that she got in between her and Kendall but it's history so she should forget about her. Ryan wants them to talk it out. Ryan thinks Madison was right and they should keep distance for awhile. Madison says it works for her and to end it right here then walks away.

Jake arrives to check on a patient, a boy named Simon. Jake introduces himself and asks how he's doing today. Jake says his mom is a very nice person. Jake notes that he's here for a shot. He asks the little boy if he's married or has children or brothers and sisters. Simon has an older brother. Jake says he has a brother named Tad that's good at pinball. Jake asks if Simon likes video games and then goes back to his shot. Jake says he's given shots all around the world even Africa. Simon notes that is far and asks if he gives kids shots. Jake says especially kids and he came up with a game called funny faces. Cara walks in and Jake introduces her to Simon. Jake thinks Simon is nervous and Cara asks if he told him about funny faces. Jake says he just was and asks Cara to do a funny face. She does and makes Simon laugh. Cara does a blowfish and Jake does a chicken impersonation. Jake tells him that Cara is excellent at giving shots. She says Jake is the best. She makes funny faces while Jake gives him the shot. Simon says it was good and Jake asks if he feels alright. He says yes and high fives Jake.

Kendall returns home and stops at the door. She leans against the wall, feeling sick again and Reverend Ricky Torres walks up. He acknowledges her and catches her as she falls. She apologizes and Ricky says he knows it was one of those days. Kendall invites him in. She tells him that she just found out about this meeting about the Miranda Center that was one of Zach's projects and they left her out so she charged over there to prove she could still be in charge. Ricky says she must have fell to pieces. Kendall says he probably thinks she should stay home and take care of herself but when she works at the Miranda Center she feels closer to Zach . Ricky assures her it won't always be like this. She asks how he knows. He says he's counseled a lot of people that have lost. She asks what to do when you lose a part of yourself. He says it never goes away and is still there. Kendall says she feels so scattered like she's searching everywhere trying to feel connected again. Ricky says she's great as he's seen her be a mom to her boys. Ricky says everyone's a mess and she takes another step every day. Kendall says when she starts to move forward, she falls back again and questions everything like why Zach had to die and why it happened. Ricky says she'll never know the answer to those questions. He asks if the Miranda Center expansion meant a lot of Zach. Kendall says it does. Ricky tells her to try again. She asks what if she falls apart again. Ricky tells her to let him know because he's good at putting things back together.

Bianca tells Griffin she doesn't know how to help Kendall. She tells him that Kendall had a heart transplant a couple of years ago and they didn't think she was going to make it. Griffin notes that she's had quite a life. Griffin tells her that she wasn't what he thought she'd be like from Zach's description. Bianca says she's a complicated person which is why they love her. Griffin asks if she wants to continue working. Bianca says not without Kendall because she's had her heart ripped open and is the strongest person she knows. Griffin doesn't get why people fall in love and let people in so deep that they wreck their lives and leave them hopeless. Bianca says if she has to explain it to him, then he is too hopeless for words.

Jake thanks Cara for assisting him cause kids can be a tough audience. She says he was doing good but she just couldn't resist and it reminded her of a little boy before. She apologizes and says she should've just let him do his thing. Jake says he couldn't believe she remembered funny faces and they smile. Amanda comes up and kisses Jake. She asks if she missed anything exciting and Jake says nothing at all.

Greenlee and Ryan return home and she tells him that she'll stay away from Madison. Ryan tells her that he was with Madison when she got a call at the hospital so he made her an appointment but she canceled it and didn't want help. Greenlee says Madison doesn't want his help. Ryan says she's talking about moving away and he knows something else is going on and he wants to help. Greenlee wants to talk but Ryan says he has to focus on them and not get lost in all this craziness. Greenlee agrees with him as Ryan suggests they pick a day and focus on them.

Bianca comes to Kendall's and she apologizes for before. Bianca says she just came over to see if Kendall wanted help getting ready for Christmas. Kendall says now isn't such a good time. Bianca asks her if she can at least get the stockings because the boys have been wanting to hang them up. Kendall agrees and Bianca notes Miranda checks her every day. Bianca gets the box and looks inside. Kendall asks what it is. Bianca says she just found it in the closet in the guest room. Kendall says she didn't put it there. Bianca tells her that Zach did.

Ryan and Greenlee sit down and he thought she would have fought him on this. She asks why because she loves time with him. Ryan says something seemed up with her and Madison and thought it had to do with him. Greenlee says everything is fine. Ryan says he just wants to take a day but it is the holidays and everything's crazy so it feels kind of selfish. Greenlee says they can be selfish for a day. Ryan says they can look at breakfast in bed, lunch in bed, and dinner in bed and maybe more bed. Ryan says it sounds so fun as Greenlee smiles and they kiss. Greenlee says she has to tell him something, if they do this she might stay there forever and forget there's anyone else but them.

Madison is at Krystal's having a drink and looking upset.

Amanda asks Jake what they've been doing. Jake says paperwork and tells her that her timing is impeccable because Cara got called in for a shift so he can punch out early and spend time with his wife. Amanda says she's okay with that and Jake calls it fantastic. Jake tells Cara to have someone call him if anything happens. Cara tells him to have fun as they walk away. Cara looks down at her necklace where her wedding ring is on. Griffin walks up and asks what she was doing. She tells him she was thinking about what she was going to do to pass the time. He asks if Jake is around. She tells him that Jake just left. Griffin asks how it's going and Cara says she hardly ever sees him.

Kendall and Bianca look through the box and inside are presents that Zach had gotten. One for Ian, one for Spike. Kendall grabs another one and looks at it as its' to her. Bianca thinks he must have hidden them a while ago. She asks Kendall if she wants to open his present to her. Kendall starts to cry and puts it down. Bianca holds her hands and says she's here, her mom's here and so is Uncle Jack and they love her so much. Bianca tells her they will get through this together. Bianca says she's going to make them some tea. Kendall sadly looks down at the present from Zach that reads "To my wife".
