Kendall wakes up and Zach tells her that it is after noon.  Zach says that he needs to talk to Kendall about his thoughts and feelings.  Zach says that he has been thinking about their new start and suggests that they need to go through a door and step into Paradise.

Erica shows up at the Chandler mansion.  Annie says that she just finished a Pilates session and introduces Erica to Sven.  Erica says that she is there to see Adam.  Annie says that her husband is occupied at the moment and offers Erica some tea or a scone.  Erica says that Annie’s desperate attempt to try to fit into Adam’s lifestyle is funny.

Ryan thanks Corrina and she leaves with Emma.  Liza asks about Annie’s proposed custody arrangement.  Ryan says that he doesn’t like it and he doesn’t want to share custody of his little girl.  Liza says that Ryan needs to reconsider because it is better than handing Emma over for good.

Gayle asks if Greenlee is trying to say something and Greenlee asks for Ryan.

David asks Tad what he is doing there and Tad says that he was going to ask David that too.

Gayle asks Greenlee to open her eyes.

David says that he is an investor in the bar.  Tad asks if Nurse Gayle is in on the latest lie that David has concocted: Where he is dying in six months or less.  David says that he really is dying.  Tad asks if Gayle always sleeps at the bar because he was watching the place all night and she never left.

Ryan asks Liza if Annie could really get full custody of Emma.  Liza says that it is a real possibility because a psychiatrist testified in court that Annie has been rehabilitated.  Ryan reminds Liza that Annie kidnapped her own daughter and was in a mental institution.  Ryan asks what he can do and Liza tells him to keep this out of court at all costs.  Liza tells Ryan to sit back and wait for Annie to make her next move.  Ryan says that Annie has already made her next move and wants him to come to the mansion to talk about their options.

Annie warns Erica that it is hot and says that she wouldn’t want Erica to scold her tongue.  Erica suggests that Annie put arsenic in it and says that she will go find Adam, but Annie says no.  Adam comes out and Erica says that they have an appointment.  Adam suggests that Annie should go take a hot bath and says that he will take care of things with Erica.  Erica says that she knows he wants to see Ryan and asks if it is about Emma.  Adam says that Annie has a right to shared custody of her daughter.  Erica asks Adam not to tear Ryan’s little girl out of his home because he is a good father, but Adam says that he disagrees with that.  Erica says that Stuart would be disappointed in Adam.

Zach tells Kendall about a nicer place than Pine Valley and says that they haven’t had their fresh start yet.  Zach says that they should take the boys and travel the world so that Team Slater can take over.  Zach says that he is afraid that if they don’t do this now, they never will.  Kendall agrees to the trip and says that they need time alone with their family without any interruptions.  Erica shows up and says that she needs to talk to Kendall.  Zach says that they are in the middle of something and Kendall says that they have something to tell Erica.

David says that the medicine for his blood disorder is illegal in the US, so he has it sent to Gayle at the bar instead of where anyone could intercept it.  David suggests that Tad should have Angie test the drug, so that she can confirm what he just said.  Tad says that it was a good distraction, but he still wants to see what is behind the door.  Gayle comes out and asks if David is okay.  Gayle explains that she fell asleep doing the inventory and woke up to them arguing.  David says that he wants Tad arrested for breaking and entering.

Greenlee remembers Ryan seeing her before the wedding and telling him that they aren’t supposed to see each other or they will be cursed.

Ryan and Liza show up to talk to Annie.  Annie reminds Ryan that they agreed that there would be no lawyers involved.  Liza says that she isn’t there as Ryan’s council and that she thinks it is best for Emma for them to work it out amicably.  Ryan asks Annie how she sees shared custody working out.  Annie says that she has done some research and gives Ryan the different options that she has found.  Ryan says that he doesn’t want all that for Emma.  Adam reminds Ryan that he is managing it that way with Spike.  Ryan says that Spike has been doing that from the beginning and that Emma could use some stability in her life after all she has been through.  Annie says that Ryan is right and suggests that Emma should move in with her and Adam.

Erica asks Zach and Kendall about going away now.  Kendall says that they need time away from everyone and that they will do phone calls and emails.  Kendall asks Erica not to be upset and Erica says that she is thrilled because they need some time to get their family back on track.  Kendall asks Erica what is going on.  Erica says that Annie is pressuring Ryan for shared custody and he might not want Spike to go right now.  Zach says that if Ryan doesn’t want Spike to go, they will wait.

Ryan says that there is no way that Emma is living at the mansion full time.  Liza says that Ryan thinks that an abrupt move would do more than good for Emma.  Annie says that the concept of sharing is off the table, but Liza says that it isn’t yet.  Liza says that she personally thinks that sharing Emma is the best option right now.  Liza leaves to take a call.  Liza asks Tad what is going on and Tad asks if she is busy right now.

David tells Gayle that Tad will be back.  Gayle tells David that Greenlee spoke Ryan’s name.  David talks to Greenlee and says that she is getting stronger.  Greenlee keeps saying “Ryan” over and over. 

Ryan says that he doesn’t think that yanking Emma back and forth from house to house is a good move.  Liza tells Ryan that she has an emergency situation to deal with and asks him not to talk about anything dealing with custody until she gets back.  Ryan agrees and Liza leaves.  Ryan tells Adam and Annie that Liza had to go and suggests that they should table the whole thing for now.  Adam says that he thinks Emma needs a neutral environment and suggests a new boarding school in Philadelphia.  Ryan tells Adam to keep his ideas about boarding school to himself and says that they obviously need to go to court to settle this.  Ryan leaves.  Adam says that they are going to court and they will win.  The maid comes in and says that Judge Robinson is there to see Adam.  Judge Robinson asks how Annie’s daughter is doing and Annie says that she is wonderful.  Adam says that they are going to file for full custody.  Judge Robinson says that he isn’t taking a bribe.

Ryan tells Erica and Kendall about the situation with Annie.  Ryan says that apparently he will have to take his chances in court.  Ryan says that he is happy to see Kendall back and asks what they wanted to talk to him about.  Zach says that it isn’t important.  Kendall says that she and Zach were thinking about going away for a couple of months to reconnect and that they wanted to bring both of the boys with them.  Zach says that they will put it off, since Ryan is going through so much right now, but Ryan tells them to go and to take Spike with them.

Gayle asks why David put Greenlee under again when she was coming around.  David says that if Greenlee wakes up too abruptly, it could overwhelm her since the crash was on her wedding day to Ryan, almost a year ago.  Gayle says that a lot changes in a year and David says that when Greenlee realizes how much has changed, it might kill her.

Ryan says that he can handle a couple of months away from Spike.  Kendall reminds Ryan that he is going through a custody mess right now.  Ryan says that it is going to get ugly and it will be better for everyone, including Spike.  Ryan asks Kendall to bring a computer with her, so that he can see Spike’s face while they are away.  Kendall agrees and thanks Ryan for making it so easy.  Kendall and Erica go to start packing.  Zach thanks Ryan.  Ryan asks Zach to take good care of Spike and Zach says that he will as if his life depended on it.  Erica comes back down and asks if Ryan left.  Zach says that Ryan is helping Rachel give the boys a bath.  Zach goes to put the luggage in the car.  Kendall says that she wishes Bianca could be there to make sure Erica is okay while she is gone. 

Adam says that he knows how it looks, but the meeting has nothing to do with the custody suit.  Adam says that he and Annie want to renew their vows and Annie says that she was hoping that Judge Robinson would officiate.  Judge Robinson says that he just needs to make a quick phone call.

Liza says that she didn’t bail Tad out of jail so that he could go commit the same crime again.  Tad tells Liza that it is really important because David is hiding something behind that door.  Liza asks if Tad is picking the lock.

David says that no one will find Greenlee there so she is safe.  Greenlee remembers getting ready for her wedding.  Greenlee wakes up and asks where Ryan is.  David says that Ryan isn’t there.  Greenlee says that they are getting married today and asks what happened.  David suggests that they talk about it later, but Greenlee says that she wants to do it now and asks where Ryan is.

Erica says that it took everything she has not to beg Kendall to stay and Ryan says that she did the right thing.

Zach tells Kendall that they are just waiting on her and asks if she is ready.  Kendall says that she is more than ready.  Zach says that they can stay there if she wants, but Kendall says that she plans on collecting his promise: Paradise!
