Mary suggests to Jack that he should start thinking about rekindling their relationship since Erica has now run off with David Hayward. Disgusted at her offer, Jack makes it clear to her that he would not turn to her even if they were the last two people left on earth. Meanwhile, Greenlee remembers her relationship with Juan Pablo and confesses her love for him just before being told by Tad that Carlos suffered more severe injuries from the accident because he pushed her out of the way of the car. Adding to her state of shock, Juan Pablo surprisingly tells her that she is the one to blame for leaking the whereabouts of Carlos to the men who want to kill him. Juan Pablo continues to build on his rage in order to convince Greenlee of something that she could never do when Jack comes to her rescue to take her back to her room and warning J.P. to never lay a finger on her again. Back in her room she and Jack vow to find the person who really leaked the information about Carlos as Mary eavesdrops from the hall. At the Chandler mansion J.R. demands that Jaime and Babe tell him if they lied about not knowing each other when he finds the stolen cow in Babe’s room as a sneaky Adam overhears from the foyer. Jaime gets rid of his suspicions by telling J.R. that he did steal the cow with a girl, but that the girl was not Babe. J.R. believes his brother’s story and suggests that they all go out for lunch at B.J.’s. When he leaves the room to get his car keys Babe thanks Jaime for not ratting her out and shows he gratitude with a kiss. Kendall and Ryan begin to passionately reunite when Kendall stops their reunion demanding that he first explain to her why he left Pine Valley. Ryan explains that she was not the only reason why he left, but that is was a culmination of all the bad things that were going on in his life at the time. She is sympathetic to his story and forgives him for leaving just before he asks her why she ever got involved with Michael Cambias. She is shocked that he would throw that in her face and kicks him out of her house. They continue their argument about who she is protecting from being arrested for Michael’s murder outside as Derek and the new A.D.A. witness her incriminating herself. In other parts of Pine Valley and trying to keep up their blooming love affair charade, Erica and David put on a kissing display for everyone around them at a restaurant only to be caught in the act by Bianca and Maggie. Erica graciously explains that her heart is now with David and Bianca congratulates her mother on her happiness. Later Erica tells David that she feels sick at the fact that she can’t tell Bianca the truth about their relationship. She desperately wants the nightmare surrounding Michael Cambias to be over and thanks David for being so supportive of her daughter…especially when she decided to terminate her pregnancy. Not wanting to be forced to tell Erica the truth about Bianca’s decision to keep her baby, David rushes off claiming to be needed at the clinic. Erica is later joined by Adam who informs her that she did not have to rely on David for an alibi because he could have given her one since he saw what she did to Michael the night he was murdered! Meanwhile, still on the hunt for new suspects, Derek goes to Lena for more answers about Michael’s murder. He threatens to take her down to the station just before Aidan jumps in to save her. He tells Derek that unless he is planning to arrest Lena for murder he has no right to take her to the station. Derek warns Aidan for the last time to STOP meddling in police affairs before he is forced to take action. Alone with Lena, Aidan asks her to retrace her steps to the night of Michael’s murder and she reveals that she was alone on the docks giving her opportunity in conjunction with a strong motive. As he tries to pump her for more information, Maggie and Bianca stop him accusing him of trying to pin the murder on anyone else other than Kendall.
