All My Children Update Monday 11/26/601

Greenlee and Leo are at the hospital when Greenlee sees Jake. She approaches him, but he tells her he's busy. Leo excuses himself, saying he needs to go see Laura. Jake tells Greenlee that if she wants to know about her father, his condition is improving. If she wants more information, she'll need to talk to David. Greenlee says she doesn't need a doctor, she needs Jake.

Erica is cleaning Greenlee's office at Enchantment when Chris walks in. Erica gripes about the condition Greenlee left the office, telling Chris that she fired her. Chris is upset, saying she should have talked to him first. This will hinder Roger's access to Enchantment and will hurt his drug investigation. Erica is not concerned and seems worried about something. Chris asks her what is wrong. Erica tells him that Bianca has fallen in love with Frankie. Erica is upset about the situation and Chris sympathizes with her. He reassures her that she and Travis did a fine job of raising Bianca. Erica says she knows Bianca misses her father and without knowing it, tells Chris she misses her own father. Chris questions Erica about her father and tells her he knows about her background and childhood. He knows that she had been raped when she was a teenager and asks her what she would do to protect Bianca from such pain. She says she would walk through fire.

Bianca walks into Frankie's room and finds her jamming to some rock music. Frankie turns off the music and Bianca finds the locket she gave her broken on the floor. Frankie apologizes and claims a maid must have knocked it off the desk and she accidentally stepped on it. Bianca tells Frankie she doesn't need the locket to see how much she is loved. Frankie is bothered when an eyelash falls into her eye. Bianca helps her get it out and tells her to blow on it and make a wish. Frankie does, then tells Bianca she wished for the courage to tell her she loved her too. Bianca is thrilled. After Bianca leaves, Frankie grows restless and leaves her room.

Erica continues to lament to Chris about Bianca's involvement with Frankie. She says Frankie is a drug addict and is not right for her daughter. She tells Chris she tried to get Opal to plant drugs on Frankie so she would be arrested. Just then, Bianca bursts into the room. "Who the hell do you think you are?" Bianca demands.

JR is at the boathouse when Dixie finds him. She tells him that she and Tad are splitting up. JR doesn't put much stock in what she says; noting that she has split up with him before only to go back to him. Dixie told him the reason she is leaving Tad. He had contacted Leslie to get revenge on David and she cannot forgive him for that. Dixie assures JR that Leslie has been put away and will not bother them, but JR is upset that Leslie has resurfaced. He angrily punches his fist into a wall and Dixie rushes him to the hospital. Jake examines JR and says his hand was bruised, but not broken. He asks Dixie what else was bothering her and she tells him she and Tad are divorcing. She tells Jake about Tad's involvement with Leslie and he agrees with her. "Tad deserves whatever you dish out," he says. JR sees them talking and tiptoes out of the hospital. He goes to the park where he sees Frankie smoking a joint. He asks her if she'll offer a new friend a hit.

Laura is in her hospital bed remembering Leo's comments to Brooke about the money that she gave him. Leo walks in and asks her how she is feeling. He apologizes for hanging up on her and thinking she was faking again. Much to Leo's surprise, Laura gets out of bed and tells Leo she'll let him go. Leo tells her he tried to make it work between them and thought that telling her he loved her and marrying her would make it work. Laura seems surprisingly forgiving and asks if they can still be friends. She takes off her wedding ring and says she is moving on and taking control of her life. She is thinking about seeing a therapist. Leo is happy and compliments her on making things better. He tells her when she feels better; they'll talk and settle things between them. "Take care," he says. "You bet," she replies. After he leaves, she says to herself, "I'll take care of you." Later, Laura hears two nurses outside her room talking about her. She angrily asks why they were talking about her. One of the nurses tells her to turn on her television. Laura turns on the TV and finds a program about life's most embarrassing moments. The show is featuring a segment on Laura's and Leo's disastrous wedding ceremony. It shows video of the sprinkler system going off and raining down on everyone, referring to the ceremony as a baptism. Laura burns with anger and throws the television remote down. She puts her hands over her ears and falls into her bed.

Greenlee tells Jake that she wonders about her father's memory lapse. It is too convenient, she says. She wonders if he's up to something bad. Part of her thinks she should leave her father alone but she cannot do that. Jake smiles, telling her character growth is so satisfying. She attributes whatever growth he sees in her to him. She asks Jake to allow her to cook a meal for him. When he hesitates, she says she'll make reservations for them at the Valley Inn. She says he shouldn't still be mad at her for crashing Leo and Laura's wedding rehearsal. She says everything turned out the way it was supposed to. Leo approaches and asks if he can take Greenlee away from Jake. Jake says that is okay because he's on duty. Leo takes Greenlee to the boathouse, where he tells her he is in love with her. He tells her he was ready to say, "I do" to Laura when a vision hit him. A vision of Greenlee. He says he was an idiot for thinking he could live without Greenlee. A happy Greenlee jumps into his arms. He sets her down and asks her to marry him.

Leo asks Greenlee to marry him and she says yes. He thinks that they should do things right this time. She wants to concentrate on the future. Leo likes that. For them to have a good future, he has to explain a lot to her. He tortured her for months. They are perfect together. Leo would like to have fun again with her. He tells her to close her eyes. He wants her to forget that the last 6 months never happened. He kisses her and she really likes that. She was right about him trying to avoid her and drive her out of his heart. Leo was only dreaming about her and being with her. Greenlee always knew this. Leo always wanted her and he wants her right now. He kisses her and the passion in the boathouse begins. They end up in a boat by the boathouse naked under a blanket. How could they not know that they belong together? They are going to have a life where they spend time together all the time. Greenlee was right. They have the whole world waiting for them. They should go to Europe. They will just drift. It doesn't matter how long they do that. He is going to make her so happy. They are going to be better than before. Leo wants the old Greenlee back. They get dressed and Leo tells her that he will be back for her in an hour. That it will be well worth the wait.

Jake is talking to Dixie and he is in agreement with her that Tad needs to be taught a lesson for bringing in Leslie into their lives. A male nurse comes in to tell Jake that JR is gone and needs a tetanus shot. Seems that he has left. Dixie is afraid that JR is going to see Tad. Dixie is waiting for word on JR and Tad arrives and tells her that he can't find JR. Why did she tell him the news without Tad there? What did she say? She told JR the truth. Tad thinks that JR can handle the truth. Dixie thinks of JR as a little boy still. Tad thinks that the problem is with Dixie and Tad. Dixie thinks that JR is not able to deal with this. Tad thinks that JR will not self-destruct. Dixie says that this is done and they have to deal with this now. Tad feels that JR is a grown man now and he can deal with his mother and father splitting up. Dixie reminds him that he is not JR's father. Tad would do anything for his family. The truth is that Tad is afraid of David and Dixie together. Jake comes up and tells Tad that he has to understand Dixie's view. Dixie tells Tad to leave.

JR has left the hospital and he meets Frankie in the park. She takes him to her room and they shared a joint together. He asks her questions to get to know her better. She asks him questions, but he seems to know why he is there. He picks out some music for them to listen to. He is not very comfortable. They sit on the bed together and she wants to know what happened to his hand. JR doesn't want to tell her the details. She feels like punching walls sometimes too. He got mad and he lost it. She jokes that she brought home a maniac. She crawls up the bed to him and kisses his lips. She can see that he is scared. JR looks at her and she suddenly gets angry. She doesn't want to talk. She tells him that something must be wrong with him.

Bianca is confronting her mother not believing that Erica would do something like planting drugs on Frankie to get her busted and out of Bianca's life. Chris leaves them alone in the office. Bianca figures out that her mother would do anything to keep her from Frankie. Bianca wants no part of her mother anymore. Bianca doesn't want to hear what her mother is saying. Every time that Bianca has had feelings for a woman, Erica has managed to misunderstand it. Bianca tells her that she loves Frankie and Frankie loves her. It is news to Erica that Frankie loves Bianca too. Finally, after all these years, Bianca has somebody that really loves her back. Erica tells Bianca that she has been loved. She has been loved ever since she was born. Erica knew that she wouldn't get her little girl back once she left to be with her father. Bianca was glad that her mother lost custody of her in the beginning. From the moment that she told her mother that she was gay she lost her mother and she never got her back. What can Erica do? Bianca thinks that her mother can do nothing to make her feel better. She wants her mother to be straight with her. She knows that her mother can't be straight with her. She wants her mother to get used to Bianca being who she is. Erica tells Bianca that she has never been embarrassed. This is her baby and she loves her with all of her heart. Bianca feels like she is being killed. It doesn't feel like love at all. Erica says that now she does understand. Bianca says that they can't fix this. Bianca can't do this anymore. Bianca is going to Frankie because she makes her feel good. Bianca knows what it is to be loved now, and she is not going to give that up for Erica.

Erica says that she doesn't want Bianca to give this up. She just wants to know how Bianca knows that she is really being loved? Is she sure that she is not just being told that she is loved for her benefit? Bianca thinks she is sure of the feelings that are being expressed. Bianca goes storming off. Chris returns to find Erica sitting alone. Erica tells him that Bianca doesn't believe that Erica loves her. Chris tells her that her daughter knows that she is loved, but she needs a break. Chris thinks that later on things will smooth out. Frankie told Bianca that she loves her. Bianca said that Frankie loves her in a way that no one has ever loved her before. Vanessa comes to the door and hears Erica wondering if Frankie really is the right one for Bianca. Vanessa says that she couldn't be more thrilled that Bianca and Frankie are getting together. Erica called her over and now she doesn't want to talk to Vanessa anymore. Erica seems to have changed her mind about Frankie. Vanessa is happy that Bianca and Frankie are getting together. Vanessa is happy about Erica's open-mindedness. Erica tells Chris to take Vanessa out to the parking lot.

Bianca comes to Frankie's room and finds her in bed with a boy ( JR ) kissing. They are both naked and under the covers and they haven't seen that Bianca is in the room yet.

Erica gets a call from Frankie. Frankie is crying and saying that Bianca ran out because she was in bed with another guy. Bianca was really upset. Frankie is sorry and Erica tells her that she is disgusting and has betrayed Bianca in a terrible way. Bianca loved her. Erica will kill her for this. She hangs up. Erica thinks that she has to go find Bianca. Chris wants to go with her, but Erica thinks that Chris needs to go in his car alone and try to find Bianca.

JR returns to the hospital and finds Dixie and Jake waiting for him. JR ignores Tad, who is standing in the hallway, and goes into the examination room. Jake goes to radiology to look into some things. Dixie turns to JR and tells him that she was worried. JR should have called. His mother wanted to know that he was safe. JR tells her that he was sorry for the way that he acted earlier. Dixie finds his reaction to be very honest. Dixie feels much better now. Things are going to get better. JR knows that. His mother loves him and he knows that. He loves her, too.

Frankie is home thinking of the things that Bianca said to her. She gets a pen and writes a note on the desk.

Erica is driving in her car and thinking of the last conversation that she had with Bianca. She thinks about telling Frankie that she will kill her for this and she hits the gas speeding to find her daughter.

Tad has a talk with Jesse, who tells Tad that he is not making things very easy.

Roger tells Mateo that he screwed up everything for him because now he has lost contact with the computer over there. Mateo wants to know what kind of work Roger was doing at Enchantment. Roger doesn't want to tell him anything. Mateo holds Roger's throat and tells him to give more information. The monitors go crazy and Jake comes running in to check on Roger. Roger says nothing about his sudden attack from Mateo. Jake turns to talk to Mateo, but he has disappeared.

Erica and Chris are standing over Frankie's dead body. Erica says that no one killed her. She must have killed herself. Chris takes the gun from Erica and he makes a call reporting that he was at the scene of a shooting and that the victim is dead. He is waiting for the proper authorities. Erica watches him as he looks for traces of gunpowder. She sees that he is suspicious of her and he tells her that she needs to make another call to a lawyer. The police arrive at the scene and forensics too. They would like to question Erica, but Chris tells them that she is waiting for her lawyer. Erica made a big mistake. She called Chris before she called the police and she picked up the gun. She can't afford anymore mistakes. Chris tells her to stand still and keep her mouth shut. They hear Jackson's voice. Chris is upset she called Jack because he is now the District Attorney. Erica runs to him and tells him that she desperately needs his help and he has to get her out of there. Jack tells her that she isn't going anywhere. He is going to have to talk to Erica at his office. She keeps talking and asks Jack if she is under arrest. Chris tells Jack that he will be representing Erica from now on. He is a criminal lawyer and can do the job.

Ryan is telling Hayley that he thinks that she should be going back to work. He wants her to be happy. She was afraid of being a bad parent. She should keep working and make the alcoholism stay far from her. She knows that the alcohol will always be near her waiting to trap her, as she has been very idle. Mateo walks in and finds Ryan with Hayley and demands to know what is going on. She tells him that she is considering going back to work early. He tells her that she isn't going back to work. Ryan leaves. They talk and then Mateo leaves again. Hayley thinks that this is all her fault. She thinks that she brings the bad out in people. She told Ryan that she didn't want to be like her parents. Mateo never was like that and now he is. Ryan thinks that Mateo is going through some stuff. Hayley thinks that she is the one that changed her husband into this person. She recognizes the behavior that her husband has. He is acting like her father.

Greenlee makes her way to the hospital and tells Jake that Leo proposed to her. Jake knows that she has gotten everything that she wanted now. She is surprised by his reaction. She knows how he feels about her. He reminds her that he told her that he was don with her. He told her that if she crashed the party everything will change and it has. She can go to Leo now.

Leo is looking for Bianca and he ends up finding her unconscious near some bushes. She fell from a horse. He brings her to the hospital and Jake happens to be there talking to Greenlee. They put her on a stretcher and wheel her off. Leo and Greenlee talk while Jake goes with Bianca. Leo knows that they have been apart for a long time and he has been rotten to her that whole time. Leo regrets the way that he treated her. He never wants to treat her badly. While he was driving Bianca to the hospital, she was unconscious. She has gone through so much and she has come out and Leo thought of Greenlee because she has lost a lot too. Greenlee thinks that she may be getting some of it back. Leo thought of Greenlee when he was with Laura and he tried to convince himself that he didn't want what he had before with Greenlee. What they had in the past didn't work. They used to think that they had all the answers. Leo wasn't sure that was enough, but now he is sure.

Mateo goes to Greenlee's old office and searches through her things. He takes the hard drive from the computer and leaves. Erica didn't know that Chris was a lawyer. She makes Jack leave her alone with Erica. Chris tells her to give him a dollar. She searches in her purse and pays him. They are now able to share information. He wants to know the truth now. She says that she has been telling the truth. The truth can be confirmed by an autopsy. He is sure that she knows who shot Frankie. He tells her to tell him the truth and trust her. She doesn't think that she can tell him. He tells her that he loves her and that is why she should be able to tell him the truth.
