All My Children Update Thursday 10/26/00

PVI

Erica, Leo, and Bianca are having dinner.  Erica is very excited about the
new campaign.  Leo seems half excited about the idea but Bianca is still
trying to talk her mother out of using her.  Erica tells her daughter that
she has something between her teeth and Bianca excuses herself.  Erica turns
to Leo to see if he can help find out what is wrong with her daughter. 
Bianca comes back and wants to know if Leo was successful in talking her
mother out of using her.  Leo looks at Bianca and raises his glass.  A man
named Oscar shows up with a camera.  He works for Erica and tells them to act
as if he wasn't there.  He starts snapping pictures and Leo moves to Bianca's
side.  Greenlee comes through the door and spies them.  She tells Erica that
she needs to speak to her.  Leo grabs onto her and follows her out to the
hall.  Greenlee lays into him about what he did to her when he was in jail. 
He tells her that for her information that he turned down her grandpa's money
and walks back to his table.  Greenlee goes to the bar where soon her
grandfather joins her.  She tells him that she is very angry for what he did.
 She says that she is in love with Leo but that he won't give her the time of
day.  Gramps tells her maybe the two of them just need some time apart.  Back
over at the table, the three of them are joined by Shannon, Heather, and
Mindy.  They are going out to play tennis and need a fourth player.  They ask
Leo but he turns them down.  He tells them that Bianca is a whiz at the game.
 They invite her but Leo finally tells them that she can't because of tennis
elbow.  The girls leave and a few minutes later, Leo walks out the door. 
Greenlee follows.  She tells him that she was wrong and that she wants to
apologize.  She asks if they can go out to eat with his favorite foods, some
drink, candlelight; just the two of them. Leo looks at her and tells her that
he has a Halloween party to go to and leaves.


shelter

Brooke is going through a box of Halloween costumes.  Becca comes in.  She
asks the woman where they came from.  Brooke tells her that they came from
Edmund and Tempo.  Becca starts to tell her that the refrigerator is broken
and that there is no one to fix it.  Eliot hasn't been in all week.  Becca
leaves and Eliot comes in the front doors.  A little bit later, Ryan comes in
with Tina, Adrian, and another guy.  Ryan is donating a ping pong table. 
Eliot is in the mood for a game and Becca accept the challenge.  Later, Tina
wants to spend some time with Adrian but he says that he will have to take a
raincheck.  Seconds, after he leaves, two girls run in and says that there is
trouble at the abandoned house.  They leave.  Much later, Brooke is back with
the costumes when Becca wheels in Phoebe.  The older woman tells her that she
has a surprise.  Laura Kirk English walks in.


Chandler mansion

Arlene and Vanessa have sped off.  Mateo tries to chase after them but comes
back.  The two men go into the front room.  Liza and a dejected Haley are
there.  They look at the tape again until Mateo turns it off.  Haley keeps
saying over and over that Arlene did it to her again.  Adam tells his
son-in-law that he's worried about her and Mateo says so is he.  Mateo
suggest to Haley that they leave.  They do leave and Adam turns his attention
to Liza.  They don't get far in discussion before Winifred rushes in with
some crushed flowers.  Vanessa and Arlene have just left and they tore
through the garden.  The two of them manage to calm her down and Adam tells
her to go upstairs and fix things because Liza and Colby are moving back. 
Liza disagrees.  The maid leaves and Liza tells Adam that he's still
overbearing and leaves.  (this makes me angry because we saw her take Colby
upstairs yesterday so where is she)


David's office

Dixie has just told David that she has quit and he follows her out to her
desk.  He wants to explain things from his point of view.  She says she will
listen but she won't change her mind.  He tries to explain things from his
side.  She tells him that he still had no right to say what he did to Jake


callroom

Jake is looking at the destruction of the tv.  Gillian wants to know what is
wrong.  He says that everywhere he goes; there is Ryan and leaves saying he
wants to be alone.


David's office

Dixie is about ready to leave when Gillian comes in and is looking for a
fight.  David tells her to leave or he will call security.  She leaves and
Dixie follows.


callroom

The two women enter and Dixie asks her what happens.  Gillian tells her that
Jake got upset.  Dixie leaves and Gillian goes to where the ruin of the tv
is.  She squats down and picks up two shattered pieces of the screen.  Jake
comes in.


Chandler mansion

Outside, Liza is leaving when Ryan comes up.  He stops her and tells her
about the proposal.  She says that money isn't everything.  He says to him it
is.  She leaves and Adam reluctantly lets Ryan in.  Ryan tells him about the
proposal and how he needs backers.  Adam tells him that he is not interested.
 Ryan says that his company can make his dream come true.
